Mashiho tapped the video call button hoping Asahi would pick up
It kept ringing but no answer
He tried two more times but the same result
"I'll try again later" Mashiho said and dropped his phone, then he went downstairs to help his mother in the lunch preparation
Evening
Mashiho slept immediately after having his lunch and woke up to remember the call, He then ran upstairs with his younger sister shouting
"Hey! Mashi-san slow down! Don't wanna hurt my niece!" She shouted which made Mashiho stop running and turned to her from the stairs
"What?" Mashiho clearly didn't tell her yet. Did she eavesdrop on his conversation with his mom
"Ehh con...grats?" She said and nervously chuckled
Mashiho didn't want to deal with her so he continued his journey
He got into his room and grabbed his laptop this time to try video calling Asahi
After a few rings Asahi answered and Mashiho saw all his friends looking at the screen
Mashiho's pov
"Mashiho!" Jeongwoo shouted pushing others to get closer to the screen
"Hi...guys" I softly greeted and waved to the screen
Immediately I greeted, they started bombarding him with questions
"Wait Wait one at a time"I said and they calmed down
"First off, Why on earth did you leave!" Hyunsuk shouted
"I don't know if I should tell you guys this–
"Of course you have to" Doyoung pitched in
"I'll speak but please don't let Jihoon hyung, Haruto san or Junkyu hyung to know about this" I said as they nodded. I then told them everything
"I never knew Dad was this evil" Doyoung said clearly angry
"Mashi, are you alright now?" Hyunsuk asked you could clearly see the worry on his face
"Yeah, I'm glad you all still want to talk to me after leaving"
"Of course we do, we'll still talk to you if you don't tell us what happened and if you did" Junghwan said
"Ok ok hold up...You're pregnant?" Jeongwoo asked and I nodded
"You did the deed with him?" Yedam hyung asked and I nodded
"Asahi already knew I'm pregnant" I said as they turned their heads to Asahi
"I didn't know if he wanted you guys to know yet" Asahi said and looked back to the screen
"How far are you...in the pregnancy?" Yoshi san asked
"Almost four months" I said and a couple Wow could be heard
"Can we see the bump?" Jeongwoo asked and I nodded, I went a little bit away from the laptop and raised my hoodie and my baby bump could clearly e seen
"Wooahhh...can you feel it?" Jeongwoo asked and Hyunsuk hit his head in annoyance
"So I'm an uncle...huhhh the good life" Doyoung said grinning
"Look Mashi, If you ever need our help, we'll be here for you and OUR baby" Yedam said smiling
"Thanks guys...I actually feel sleepy"
"Oh yes go to bed, don't stress our baby" Hyunsuk said and others followed him too
I chuckled and ended the video call
"It's just you and me" I said rubbing my stomach

Weeks turned to months
Months turned to years
Mashiho and his friends kept in touch every single day
His mental health was getting better while Junkyu's was deteriorating
Junkyu, over the years got more ruthless and his smile completely faded, he already had trust issues but after Mashiho's departure, everyone was a nobody to him
His company boomed within the years and he still felt empty after all he accomplished. He just didn't see life as it used to be
"Hyung, sorry we didn't answer your call, we were practicing for the comeback" Doyoung said with Junghwan beside him
They debuted two years ago and their group was having a comeback so they didn't have the time to contact him
"It's alright I understand" Mashiho said
"Where's Junho?" Junghwan asked
"Let me call him...Junnie! Junnie! Jun-
"What is it mama?" Junho asked with his handsome stern face, he was exactly like Junkyu
"Come and speak to your uncles" Mashiho said and Junho walked to the screen and bowed
"Junho, we've told you to stop bowing at us" Doyoung said
"Bowing is a sign of respect and I respect my elders, don't I?" Junho asked with his face stoic
"Haha you speak more than your age" Junghwan said
"What do you expect, His parents are brainiacs" Doyoung said
"Parents? Mama is the only one I have now though I know Papa is somewhere else, maybe he left Mama or Mama left him...well Mama, did you?" Junho asked Mashiho looking straight into his eyes
"Haha go and play with your toys" Mashiho said shooing him out of the room
"I've told you Mama, I don't do toys...I'll be off to continue my studying" Junho said and left
"Jeez he's just Six" Doyoung said
"I know, the school told me he's too smart to be learning what he's learning now, he clearly knows everything and want to promote his class"
"Woah his brain must be on fire"
"I know! Each time we're shopping, I always have to get him new books, his room is basically a library" I said and they laughed
"We'll end the call now, the practice has started again, see you! and greet that brainiac for me" Doyoung said

Mashiho completed his studies at another university in Japan and once he was done, he immediately got a job at Hospital, his salary was really high and he's been promoted a lot because of his hard work
He bought a much comfortable and big house for his family in the city
He got downstairs and went to the dining room, Hiromi was seated beside Junho while eating, now's her holiday from the university
"Junnie, didn't you say you were going to study?" Mashiho asked rubbing his head
"Yes Mama but I felt hungry so I came to have some snacks" he said and opened his snacks
Mashiho joined his son and sat down beside him
"Aunt Hiromi would you chew less loudly?" Junho said to Hiromi
Hiromi's eyes widened and she wanted to hit him but Mashiho hit her head and told her to sit back down
"He's right, You way like a pig" Mashiho said and Hiromi scoffed
"Anyways Mama, when we went to the library yesterday, there's a subject I found an interest in, I checked some textbooks concerning the subject and it was quite challenging, you know how much I love challenge Mama" Junho said looking at Mashiho
"Tell me, What's the subject?"
"Physics...I think that's how you pronounce it...I learnt a lot of laws yesterday and I tried applying them in some areas and it was wonderful...I want a lot of textbooks Mama" Junho said
"Ugh can you shut your brain? It's too much for your age, your brain will explode if you go on like this" Hiromi said and demonstrated the explosion
Junho chuckled and then looked at Hiromi
"You don't pay attention in class, do you?" He asked
"Yah! Mashiho-san you're watching Junho bully me" Hiromi shouted and stood up
"Shhh I'm having a migraine" Mashiho said not paying attention to them
