I arrived at my friends house for the sleepover she had set up for our friend group, there were only four of us but I knew it was going to be a good night, well I hoped it would be.
We spent the night dancing to one direction which just wasn't my kind of music but I sucked it up and put up with it for a little while until it was getting late. They started arguing about where everyone would sleep, calling dibs on the best spots.
"y/n! you can still fit up here with us!" My best friend, bsf/n, said patting the spot beside her. I gave her an unsure look, it used to be just the two of us until the two new girls decided it would be a good idea to join us two. They of course like her better..
"no she can't." Her friend interrupts, my best friend shoots her a confused look.
That just made it even more obvious, this isn't the first time it's happened either. "don't worry I'll take the couch downstairs" I offer slowly.
They don't say anything just keeping their thoughts to themselves, I walk downstairs, one hand holding a thin blanket and a flat pillow while the other held my phone for some light. I didn't want to wake up her family.
I drop everything on the couch with a sigh. "there.."
"That's three times in a row. Don't tell me she's kicking you out." A deep voice says from behind, slight irritation hidden in his voice.
I gasp at the unexpected new voice, her older brother situated in the kitchen.
"I offered this time, Ryan" i shrug with a small smile. Ryan is my 'friends' brother, we speak when we bump into each other when I'm here and often talk about his bands music. Motionless in white.
He scoffs, moving from the kitchen to the lounge, he shakes his head softly picking up my belongings with little to no effort.
"You only 'offered' because they gave you no other choice." He mumbles taking my stuff upstairs.
I follow closely behind wondering what he's doing with my stuff. "what are you doing?"
"what do you think?" He sarcastically replies, leaning against his bedroom door. He nods his head for me to go inside, "b-but-"
"But nothing. come on, we haven't got all night. We are spending the night watching movies." I sigh before walking in hesitantly, "You can go in" He chuckles quietly, he goes to lay down on his bed while I awkwardly stand in the door way.
"Come on then, I don't bite" he says invitingly, I smile and join him. "what are you watching?"
"Stranger things, I'm not really watching it to be honest, it's just on."
"oh, cool." he smirk and we continue to watch the series, we both had no clue what was going on but we stayed silent and just enjoyed each other's company. He pulls me more into his side when I tried to put space between us, I smiled to myself. maybe being hated by your friends wasn't so bad in the end.
