First Impressions

It was Monday morning. Sunday had been uneventful. My Gran had lent me the car to go to the dump and asked me to get a few things from the store for her. I had taken the opportunity to have a look around the town whilst I was there. It was as I remembered. The few shops on the high street. The little café busy as usual and big banners supporting the schools football team.

I had been up for a few hours, just laying in my bed staring at the ceiling. My alarm was due to go off any moment but I just couldn't find it in me to start getting ready.

The thought of starting a new school this far into the semester was daunting. Not to mention the fact that I was probably going to be the only kid in the school that hadn't grown up here. The school was much, much, smaller then my last. In fact the entirety of the student body was probably the same as that of my Senior class. This was not going to be fun.

My alarm rang out shrilly making Basil jump up in surprise, his head cocking to the side at the sound. I chuckled at his cute expression and turned it off before he began to whine like he used to when I would leave it to play out.

Slowly I got my self ready taking more time then needed in the shower and actually picking out my clothes instead of just chucking on the first thing I could grab. I stared long and hard at my self in the mirror. I would have freaked at the state I was only six months ago, rushing to cover up my pale skin with make-up and other products. But now I didn't care. I looked semi presentable and that was all that mattered.

My once died blond hair was back to it's original dull dark brown. It hung loosely around my face no longer straight but wavy in it's natural state. My hazel eyes stared back at me looking as vacant

as ever and my cheeks looked sallow. I was once considered pretty but now I looked anything but.

I was wearing a plain red t-shirt, it was baggy on me but it was my favourite, and some loose jean shorts cut off just before my knees. I wouldn't have been caught dead going out of the house like this before, but what did it matter now?

I wondered down stairs, the smell of bacon filling my nose. As I walked into the kitchen my Gran smiled at me.

“morning sweetheart. Would you like any breakfast?” she asked motioning to the frying pan in her hand.

I wanted to say yes so that she wouldn't worry but I just could stomach it. I had forced myself to eat last night and I was still feeling full from that. I shook my head “I'll just have some fruit.” I smiled at her grabbing an apple from the bowl on the side.

She smiled and nodded, happy that I was just going for the healthy option perhaps. I wasn't going to eat it now though. No I would most likely save this for lunch or not eat it at all.

“so are you all set for school?” she asked pouring me some juice as I sat up at the breakfast bar.

“sure” I shrugged. I mean what did she expect? For me to be excited?

She smiled at me setting the glass before me. “you don't need to look so worried you'll fit in just fine.” she said giving me a funny look.

I mumbled in a half hearted agreeable way. I didn't want her worrying about me.

There was a knock at the door and her face lit up in her consuming smile. “that must be Max. He's giving you a ride to school today.” she told me as she went to answer the door.

Was she kidding me? I told her I didn't need her setting me up with him. He was clearly a player definitely not someone I wanted to get to no better.

I listened as she greeted him and ask him how his weekend was. The boy replied back in a polite way telling her he had hung out with his friends nothing special. And then she ushered him in to the kitchen.

“Roxie you remember Max right?” she said giving me a knowing smile.

I'm pretty sure I had never seen this boy before, other then that brief incident on Saturday. Then I remembered my cousin Kelly telling me about the hunk that moved in next door to Gran a few years ago. How he had all the girls after him and that she was lucky enough to get a date with him. This was all around the same time I stopped coming here. So no I had in fact not met him before nor did I remember him.

“actually Mrs Dawson we haven't met before.” the boy informed her before I could.

Realisation washed over her face and she blushed slightly at her mistake. “of course how could I forget you only moved in five years ago.” she chuckled. “it feels like you've been cutting my grass for a life time.” she muttered.

Max chuckled with her and stepped closer to me holding out his hand. “hi, I'm Max.” he said lamely, and overly sure of himself.

“yeah I know. She already said.” I replied flatly rolling my eyes.

He chuckled at me and my Gran scowled in annoyance at my behaviour.

“help your self to some breakfast Max.” my Gran smiled at him.

Max moved to the seat next to me and perched himself on the stool helping himself to a glass of juice and some bacon.

“not eating?” he asked noticing the empty plate before me.

“no.” I replied shortly.

“so Roxie do you have any hobbies?” he asked after a long silence.

I shook my head. Could he not see I wasn't happy about this arrangement, forced upon me by my Gran. Idiot.

“you gonna join any teams or clubs?”

“not if I can help it.” I mumbled under my breath, but it seemed he heard me and gave me a curios look.

“you used to be a cheerleader right? Maybe you'll pick that up again.” my Gran said hopeful.

“a cheerleader aye. You don't seem very cheerful to me.” Max whispered in my ear.

I glared at him. He better back off or I might just end up doing something I'll regret.

“here's your lunch.” Gran said proudly handing me a brown bag. “I've put in you favourite cupcake.” she added with a smile.

Max tried to hide his amusement. Being given a lunch was not a cool thing to happen, even my mum knew that. I guess Gran was just stuck in the times.

I smiled up at her appreciatively. Hoping not to hurt her feelings. “actually I was going to buy something at school.” I said hoping she wouldn't take it the wrong way.

As if her actions dawned on her she blushed. “oh right. Of course my mistake. I'll pop this in the fridge for your granddad.” she smiled at me.

“we better head off.” Max announced getting up. “thanks for the food Mrs Dawson.” he said sweetly and smiled at her.

“not at all. Your always welcome you know that.” she said dismissively.

Boy I wish she hadn't said that because by the look on his face right now I had a feeling that he was going to become a permanent guest for breakfast, just brilliant.

I hugged my Gran goodbye and walked slowly outside. Max had gone ahead of me and was now sat in a black SUV in front of the house. What they hell did he need one of those for? Did he not know how bad they were for the environment. I mean it wasn't like he had a family to drive around or trailer to pull. It was a joke.

Begrudgingly I opened the car door and hopped in. It was either this or walk for an hour. I had hoped my Gran would give me the use of her car for the day but I guess this would have to make do. At least till I could afford a car of my own.

“cheer up, it's not the end of the world.” Max said as he pulled away.

I stared out of the window and watched the world go by in a blur. Everything seemed like a blur to me these days. A consequence of my spacing out. The doctors had put it down to stress but if I'm honest I didn't feel stressed at all, I felt nothing.

Not happy, or sad, or angry. Yes on occasion an emotion would appear but for the most part I felt numb. And being numb was better then feeling.

The car came to a halt pulling me from my daze. I looked around to find myself at my new high school. Students were lounged about the place, chatting and joking around. A group of cheer leaders were practising and a bunch of what looked like freshmen boys were watching them as their skirts flew up. Typical. And to think I would have been one those girls last year.

I didn't miss it as much as I thought I would, cheer leading that is. I had been the next in line for captain of the squad but after the incident in the summer I handed back my uniform and became the recluse I was today. Not going to any of my extra curricular clubs or any social events. My friends tried persistently to get me out of the house but I just didn't want to, and now I was here.

“you know your gonna be fine. Everyone here is really friendly.” Max said sounding worried about me. “Besides you all ready know the king of the school.” he added cockily.

I rolled my eyes and with a heavy sigh I jumped out of the car.

I heard the sound of the other car door being opened and shut and the beeping of the central locking. Thinking he would just go find his friends and leave me alone I headed for the main reception to get my schedule.

“hey wait up!” Max called out running up to me.

I didn't stop in fact I sped up. Could he not see I didn't want anything to do with him. I was going to take a lift from him to keep my Gran happy and then I would find my own way to and from school.

An arm found its way around my shoulder making me tense by the sudden contact from a stranger. I glared at him in annoyance and I guess my face must have scared him because he backed away slightly but still continued to walk in step with me. Just brilliant.

“what do you want?” I sneered.

“your Gran asked me to look after you today and I like your Gran so I'm going to do my damn best to do as she asked.” he smiled seeming proud of himself.

“well I don't want or need you to. I'll be fine without you.”

He snorted. “you ain't getting rid of me. Sorry Rox but I'm here to stay.” he told me and I'm pretty sure if I wasn't glaring at him he would have tried to put his arm around me again.

“my name is Roxie!” I said annoyed. The only person that got to call me Rox was long gone. And he was never going to be able to call me that ever again.

I resisted the tears that stung my eyes as the memories that crept up on me at the thought of him. I wouldn't cry. I will not cry! Not in front of this .... this jerk.

“ooo touchy aren't we.” he smirked amused at my annoyance, and oblivious to my near breakdown.

I growled under my breath. Would he please just leave me alone. If there is a god please just give me this one thing.

Sadly my hopes of there being a god had vanished long ago. “don't you have someone else to annoy, a girl to suck faces with perhaps?” I said in a bored tone. Trying not to show how much he was annoying me. I mean I had only met the guy this morning and I was already finding him at the top of my most hated people list.

“why you wanna suck faces with me?” he asked wagging his eyebrows.

Was this guy for real? I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. He was everything I despised in a man. Cocky, arrogant, stuck up, pretentious and overly confident about his good looks. He was handsome but that wasn't the be all and end all.

He chuckled at me, taking my silence as my answer. “I'm kidding.” he muttered.

A boy, rather muscular and menacing looking jogged up to us with a big childish grin. If it wasn't for that grin I would have been scared of him, but there was something so innocent about his eyes that made me think that he was more of a teddy bear then anything.

His brown hair was cropped and he was wearing jeans and baggy football top. He had a small scar on his left temple and I couldn't help but wonder who would hurt such a sweet looking guy.

“hey man. Who's the chick?” the boy asked flashing me a smile as he fell into step with Max and myself.

“Bruce, this is Roxie, my neighbour. The girl I was telling you about.” Max said introducing us I a polite manner.

Bruce nodded. His face scrunched up as though in deep thought. When he saw me looking at him he smiled, like he had been caught doing something he shouldn't have. Strange boy.

“so Roxie how you liking it here?” he asked cheerfully.

I shrugged. “I've only been here for a few days, but it's okay I guess.” I lied, well I wasn't about to mention the fact that the small town had nothing to offer. I didn't want to make enemies, at least not on my first day.

“Your gunna love it here. Everyone does.” he smiled brightly at me sounding oh so sure that I would like the place as much as he clearly did.

Max snorted making me look at him curiously. When he made no move to comment on what his friend thought I went back to ignoring him.

The main building was just ahead of us now so I climbed the stairs quickly, hoping to get away from the pair. It wasn't that I didn't like Bruce, I just didn't want to make small talk.

“I'll catch up with you later.” Max called out running to catch up with me.

“yeah see ya. By Roxie.” he shouted.

I shot him a wave over my head not bothering to turn or give him a verbal reply. It wasn't like I was planning on making friends with him anyway so there was no need to be polite.

I hurried down the corridors, hoping to see a sign for the reception or main office. I could hear Max walking just behind me but I chose to ignore him. As I walked down the corridors the few students stared at me curious, whispering as I went past.

“where are you going?” Max asked amused.

“to get my time table.” I replied in a flat tone. I mean come on I thought it was obvious.

“then why did you walk straight past the office?” he asked and I swear I could hear him chuckling under his breath.

I stopped suddenly turning to face him, which only caused him to walk into me nearly knocking me over. His arms reached out and steadied me as I stumbled back and when I was balanced I shrugged out of his hold.

“where is the office?” I asked, irritated that he had just left me to walk past it.

“you know if you had just let me take you this wouldn't have happened.” he said smirking at me.

“just tell me so I can get on with my day.” I snapped at him, not in the mood for his games.

He sighed. “fine, I'll tell you.” he said in resentment. “but only if you'll sit with me at lunch” he smiled to himself.

I grumbled. I should have known he would pull a stunt like that. “forget it. I'll find it on my own.” I said pushing past him, taking extra care to look for the office this time.

As I neared the main doors I couldn't help but think that maybe he had tricked me and that I hadn't walked past the office. I bet he was laughing behind me right now as I stormed through the school.

And there it was just to the right of the main doors, a huge unmissable sign. RECEPTION. How on earth could I have missed that? Feeling a little silly with myself I stepped through the archway, that separated the small room from the corridor, and went up to the desk.

A young woman, mid twenties at most, was sat at the desk. Furiously typing away with a hard scowl on her face. Her glasses were in danger of slipping of her nose as she concentrated, partially masking her piercing blue eyes. Her blonde hair was up in a tight bun, making her look professional and not to be messed with. Her make up was applied thickly with red lipstick staining her lips. She was pretty though, even with the scowl, and it made me wonder how she managed to wind up as a school receptionist.

I waited patiently, not wanting to disturb her, just in case she turned out to be one of those girls that tears peoples heads off.

“good morning Sal.” Max said stepping up beside me.

At the sound of his voice she froze, stopping mid type, and turned with a sweet smile, slipping her glasses off. Yes she was definitely more attractive with out the scowl. I bet most of the girls in the school envied her beauty and she wasn't even a pupil.

“oh hello Max, what can I do for you?” she asked kindly.

“Roxie here needs her time table.” he stated, motioning to me with a bob of his head.

As though only just noticing me her head snapped to my direction. I expected her to scowl but instead her smile grew and she genuinely looked happy to see me, which was a bit strange.

“oh yes of course. Miss Fox. Nice to finally meet you.” she said sincerely holding a hand out for me.

I took the hand hesitantly. What did she mean by that? I had only decided to come here a week ago. I wouldn't have thought that would be a long enough time to deem such a statement.

“nice to meet you too. Miss...?” I replied politely.

“oh how rude of me. I'm Sally. No need for formal surnames here.” she chuckled.

I looked at her confused but nodded. Maybe she felt too young to be called by her last name. Or maybe it was because she wasn't a teacher, I don't know.

“I'll just get your papers.” she said turning and flicking through a pile.

I stood waiting patiently, slightly rocking on me heals, as she looked for whatever it was I needed. I couldn't help but look around the small office – what can I say I'm a curious person.

Bulletin boards were filled to the brim with flyers for events and school clubs. It was hard to believe such a small school could have so many extra curricular's. The walls were painted the normal minty green, a sort of calming natural colour I guess. There was a frosted door on the right side of Sally's desk that I assumed led into her compartment, a few soft chairs for waiting parents and a large door with the principals name in bold on a name plaque. All in all it was what was expected in the average high school office.

As I peered in closer to the plant on the desk – to see if it was real or not – I couldn't help but feel that I was being watched. Using my peripherals I noticed Max staring at me with an amused smile, appraising my nosiness.

“here you go Roxanne.” Sally said turning to me. I frowned at the use of my full name, and stood up straight. Only my mum called me that and even then it was only when I was in trouble.

Unfazed by my frown Sally continued with a happy smile. “I have your class schedule, a list for your electives – which you will need to to pick by the end of the week – a map of the school, a list of our extra curricular activities and clubs and here is your diary. Any questions?”

I looked over my schedule. It all seemed to be in order. I had an empty lesson on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon where my elective would be , and as I looked at the other classes they all seemed to be the same as my old school. That was one less change I guess.

With a small sigh I began to look up to the woman and smile when I noticed my biology class was now an AP class. That wasn't right. I was an average student, a damned good one as well. I liked being average. No one notices you when you blend in. this was going to have to change.

Looking up from the piece of paper I pursed my lips unable to think of the right way to go about this. I mean I barely knew the woman. What if she had a go at me for wanting to change to a different class. After all didn't all faculty members want you to excel?

“is something missing?” she asked concerned, looking down at the pieces of paper in my hand.

“not exactly, it's just I'm not an AP student and I'm in AP biology. I think it's a mistake.” I said in a small voice, hoping not to offend the poor woman.

She looked at my schedule in thought and then typed something into her computer, looking up something on the system. When she looked back up she smiled at me, a kind caring smile. “no mistake my dear. Your school sent us your transcripts and it seems they were going to put you in AP biology any way so they asked for us to do so.” she explained making my stomach drop.

What the.....? “oh.” was all I could manage to say, with a glum nod.

How could this be? I thought I was barely scrapping a pass in all of my lessons. Heck I barely paid attention in them for the most part, and rarely managed to remember homework. I didn't even remember completing any assessments for biology this year yet.

“hey, your with me and Bruce. Good huh?” Max said peering over my shoulder.

I looked at him in confusion. “huh?” I asked.

He raised an eye brow at me. “your tutor group. Sally just told you.” he said in a patronising voice.

I was used to people talking to me like this now. The spacing out all the time had caused many people to question my sanity and as a result spoke to me like I was dumb when repeating something they had just said.

Feinting ignorance I just smiled and nodded. “oh right yeah. Gotcha.”

Looks like I was going to be following him again. Great!

“well that's everything then. Don't forget to get all of your teachers to sign that sheet.” she stated tapping the pink piece of paper in my hand. “and bring it back to me by the end of the week with your elective choice.” she smiled before returning to her seat and going back to typing like a mad woman.

I turned to leave, as did Max slinging an arm around my shoulder, and once again I glared at him with hatred. I did in no way liked to be touched by strangers, heck I barely tolerated people I knew touching me in such a casual manner.

He smiled sheepishly at me as though realising his action and pulled his arm away leaving it to hang awkwardly between us. “so shall we?” he asked gesturing that we left the small room.

I rolled my eyes and took a step forward only then realising that I had no idea where I was going and I still need to drop my bag off. Hang on she didn't tell me my locker number or give me a code for it.

I turned back round to ask her. “erm, sorry to disturb you again but you haven't given me my locker number.” I said softly.

She stopped mid type once again and looked up with a smile. “sorry, but we don't have lockers here. There's no space.” she shrugged. “if you need to store anything you will have to ask your tutor, I'm sure he will be accommodating enough.” she explained and went back to her work, her fingers flying crazily across the keyboard.

What sort of high school didn't have lockers? I thought that was an essential for all high schools? I mean where was I supposed to store all of my heavy text books? My gym kit? My folders? I was going to get a very bad back lugging all that around. This just gets better and better. How could I have not noticed this when I walked through the halls earlier? I really needed to start paying attention more.

“cheer up. It ain't that bad. You'll soon get used to it.” Max said commenting on my glum mood.

I rolled my eyes at him and followed him as he left the room.

The halls were now packed with students. The loud babble of voices filled the air as they stood chatting to their peers about their weekends, waiting patiently to go into their form rooms.

I struggled to keep up with Max as he dodged through the masses, bumping fists with a few lads and saying 'hi' in a drawled out way to a few girls that swooned over him. It was pathetic. The only reason I knew I was following him was because his name kept getting called out over the chatter.

I squeezed myself through a small group of girls apologising as I went, to find Max waiting for me with a small smile playing on his lips. Oh so now he remembered he was supposed to show me to my room. Okay so he wasn't supposed to, he hadn't been asked by anybody. But what happened to him looking after me today? Huh? So much for not letting my Gran down.

I frowned as I heard the whispers about the new girl – me – and walked up to Max. That just ended up in earning me even more whispers, glances and gasps. Teenage drama! Will it ever not annoy me? Probably not. Even when I was considered popular I would find my self annoyed by gossiping fools.

“take your time why don't ya.” Max joked.

I just narrowed my eyes at him slightly, showing him I was not amused. With a roll of his eyes he pushed a door open and stepped in, holding it open for me to follow.

I stepped in cautiously. Were we not supposed to wait outside our classrooms like the other kids seemed to be doing? Was that not the way it was done here? I mean at my old school we pretty much hung out in our form rooms at the start of the day, waiting around for Miss Heckle to arrive late as usual.

I looked around the room, just as I did the office, appraising it with my eyes. Loose groups of students were sat around the half empty room. And by half empty I mean it only had desks scattered around the outskirts of the room. On the far wall was a large sofa, occupied by a group of four girls talking animatedly and giggling and some boys sat with them lounging on some bean bags. A few other students were laid on the floor talking as the wrote or sketched in their books. And another group sat lazily near a small group of desks, some on the desks and others on chairs.

Was this a common room? Perhaps the seniors in this school had there own private room. That would be cool. We never had anything like that in my old school. Everyone just hung out in the cafeteria. This would be a nice change.

However, as I looked around the room I realised that it was in fact a class room. A drama class room to be exact. The word Theatre was written in bold on one of the display boards along with a huge collage of different theatres, the seating plans, the stages, the outside of the building, just everything that was associated with the word theatre.

On the other wall was a big picture of who I assume was supposed to be William Shakespeare, but I was never good with things like that so it was just a guess. Next to his enlarged head was the work of students I presume, under the headings to match the year group they belonged to.

On the wall closest to me was the unmistakable teachers board and so with the powers of deduction I decided that this was in fact a class room. An unconventional class room I admit but a class room none the less. Afterall for all I knew this was what class rooms were like in this school, informal and relaxed.

“Hey, I'm Tina.” a blonde girls said smiling at me.

I smiled back politely, suddenly realising I was now stood before the group of girls on the sofa. When did I wonder over here? I looked over to my right to see Max standing next to me, smiling happily. I seriously need to stop spacing out. I guess I must have followed after him or something.

I went to reply back with my own name only I was interrupted by the girl with short auburn hair sat on the armrest. “so your new right? Wow must be a big change? I bet this school is like half the size of your old one. You grew up in a big city right?” she said looking at me excitedly.

I snorted a little. Half the size? This school would fit in the humanities block alone from what I had seen so far. “yeah, big change.” I commented.

“gooooood morning class.” a loud booming voice called out.

The class quieted and one by one turned to face the front of the room. I followed suit to find myself staring at a young man, one that looked only just old enough to be a teacher, let alone a tutor for a senior class. Maybe the tutor had left and he just happened to start at the school at the same time, filling in their place.

A few students muttered greetings happily.

I watched the tall man curiously. He was good looking that was for sure. He had chestnut brown hair, gelled smartly. His face was clean shaven with an angular jaw and high cheekbone. From here I couldn't see his eye colour but I wasn't too fussed. I mean I found it a bit weird when people always mentioned eye colour straight away, because unless your stood right up close there is no way you can see someone's eyes well enough.

“so we have a new student today.” he commented and with that I found myself the centre of everyone's attention.

Around twenty or so pairs of eyes were now staring at me. Boring in to my face as they looked me over. A few were smiling encouragingly and others seemed bored and uninterested but still continued to stare at the stranger amongst them. This was definitely worse then the hallways and much worse then what I had prepared myself for.

Flushing with embarrassment I suddenly found the floor more interesting. The boring grey carpet became the focus of my attention and there was no way it was going to change any time soon.

“so, Roxanne. Welcome to our room.” the man said walking towards me.

I barely acknowledged that he was moving closer to me. Or the sweet smile that was on his face. But slowly I lifted my head up so not to be rude and disrespectful.

“I'm Mr Walker but you can call me James.” he said with an outstretched hand.

I looked up at him confused now. What did he mean by that? Hesitantly I shook his hand. “please call me Roxie.” I corrected him. Once again finding it strange being called by my full name. It just hadn't happened for a long time, even on my school register I was put down as Roxie, well my old one.

He smiled more genuinely at me. “of course. So guys and gal's you are to all look after the newest member of our family. Roxie here will be in most of your classes so I expect you to include her and make her feel at home.” he stated sounding like a father talking to his children.

Family? What sort of crap was that? Was it just because he was cuckoo drama teacher? Or was this school real big on close relationships. Building rapport with students and what not. I guess only time would tell.

He turned back to me with his smile still intact. “ don't worry I wont make you tell them something about your self. I'm sure they will have plenty of time to find out for themselves.” he said kindly, and I instantly found myself liking this man more.

I smiled back in thanks and then made my way over to an empty chair to finally sit down.

On Mondays we had a whole hour with our form tutors – the rest of the week was just for morning registration. Throughout this hour small groups of my tutor group introduced themselves. Telling me a bit about the school and what they liked about it. I felt a bit like a celebrity in a way. It was strange to me that anyone would want to know anything about me.

I was just your plain Jane type of girl. Nothing interesting to know, not any more. In my old school my tutor group wouldn't have made as big a fuss over a new person. Someone would take them under their wing and then they would be stuck in their click till they found if they fitted or not before staying or moving to a better suited one.

I smiled politely only offering a few details about myself. Like where I used to live, who I lived with now and how long I had been here for so far. When asked why I moved I simply stated that I just needed a change and left it at that. They didn't need to know the real reason, and I didn't want them knowing either.

I had a strange suspicion that the reason was on my school file and that was why Mr Walker, or James as he said to call him, had made it more prudent for his class to make me fit in more easily. Shooting a few warning glances to a few students, when they made no move to bother themselves with the new girl.

I sighed heavily as the last group of strange boys left after telling me their names and simply grunting hello at me. The three of them obviously didn't want their morning disturbed but had been told to make an effort, and whilst it was nice I kind of felt a little embarrassed that they had been put out by lil ol' me.

I glanced at the clock, realising I still had half an hour left till real classes began. A few girls glanced over at me smiling, realising I was now finally alone with no more introductions needed. Not really wanting to make friends, with anyone, I pulled my notepad out of my bag and made it look like I was busy with sorting through my things, jotting important things down.

I simply sat there riffling through the pages that Sally had given me this morning, thinking it would be a good idea to look at the electives I could choose from. Yes that would be a good use of my time.

Before I knew it I had doodled on the first page of my brand new note book. It was covered in random scribbles. A few of the electives had been written down obviously from peeking an interest.

The bell rang making me sigh. Now the fun was about to begin. Oh joy!
