I brought Raven to a place she might enjoy.
An amusement park.
Just cause she's blind doesn't mean she can't have fun. I want her to enjoy and forget what just happened a few minutes ago.
I never thought her story would be that...well...bad.
Maybe bad is an understatement. Horrible I guess. She's been through a lot.
My wolf actually howled in pain when we found out that our mate wanted to die.
And here I thought my story was bad, I never actually thought hers was way worse.
When your a werewolf you only, and I mean only have one mate. Sometimes its rare to actually meet them. Some wolves reject their mate for some reason and they won't find another.
They can find someone else but it just wouldn't be right. Something will be missing like my uncle told me when I was still a young pup with my mum.
Anyway I thought the amusement park would be great for the next destination. Lots of rides to try and food to stuff in the mouth.
My arm was wrapped around her slender small waist. I saw her sniff in the air and hear her surroundings.
She surprises me with her senses. Though our senses are heightened hers is way more developed.
She's blind and yet she has these beautiful hazel eyes that can deceive anyone to think that she has sight. She has a small nose and plump pink lips that I could kiss all day long if she'd let me.
I saw her lips form a smile and she faced me.
"An amusement park? Really?" She asked.
I smiled as well and held her close to me then kissed her forehead.
"Yes, really. We are going to have fun." I answered leading her to our first ride.
The rollercoaster.
"Have you ever been to an amusement park before?" I asked while we waited in line.
She leaned her head on my chest.
I like her close to me. It has a nice feeling. Its warm and I feel like I want to protect her from everything.
"Yup." She said popping the p.
I raised a brow not like she can see me.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yup, I may be blind but I can still have fun. We frequently went here, me and Zeth, when we were kids. Its a fun way to forget the bad things that happened to us. Its like our little stress reliever." She said.
I smiled, good thing there's an amusement park in this town. It has a bit of everything.
We rode the rollercoaster, which made my stomach a bit queasy.
I shouldn't have eaten a heavy breakfast before we got here. Bad idea to ride the coaster after eating.
Next we rode the spinning teapots. Which by the way, made me even more nauseated.
I underestimated my mate yet again. She is awesome!!
She likes the extreme and nauseating kind of rides.
So far we rode the drop tower, the enterprise, a ride that's like a swing but spins you real fast. The pirate ship and the reverse bungee.
I'm pretty sure my insides are now topsy turvy.
I just let her pick the rides. She seems to be enjoying.
"Where to next?" I asked her.
She thought for a moment then a mischievous smile etched her beautiful face.
What's my mate got in that pretty little head of hers?
"Let's ride the bumper cars!" She said with enthusiasm.
Bump cars? Is that alright?
If she gets hurt I might find myself eating dirt. Zeth and the alpha would kill me if I got a scratch on her. Even I would kill myself if she hurt herself.
"You sure?" I asked.
She looked perplexed.
"YES!" She exclaimed. "I promise not to hurt myself." She continued and gave me puppy dog eyes.
Oh she's good, really good. She's showing me those big brown hazelnut eyes.
Is she really blind? Because it looks like she isn't.
She let out a small whimper. I can't stop staring at her huge brown eyes.
I must resist.
Do not look into her eyes.
Resist...
Resist...
Don't...
"Fine!" I gave up.
I couldn't resist. She's one devious woman. I might not be able to resist her at all if she keeps on showing me those puppy dog eyes of hers. Those eyes are dangerous and she doesn't know it.
"Let's go!!!" She said and pulled my arm.
She was going to the opposite direction. I guess she really is blind.
"Other way." I told her chuckling.
She laughed awkwardly ang her faced turned a bit red.
She's so cute. I sound like a girl.
"Of course it is." She said and dragged me the other way.
We reached our destination. The line wasn't that long.
"Will the two of you be riding together or different cars?" The person handling the ride asked us.
I was about to talk but Raven beat me to it.
"Separate cars will do." She said.
What?
I was about to protest but the guy was already handing over the helmets and tickets.
My mate is crazy.
"Your crazy." I told her.
She laughed.
"Atleast I'm fun." She retorted and went ahead.
I shook my head. She may be fun but also extreme and a bit reckless.
I got in my bump car as well.
Again, my mate surprises me.
How can she know who to bump? She's been bumping me ever since we started. She is a confusing ang surprising blind mate. I like it.
The fun stopped when a buzzer sounded and our cars automatically stopped.
With all the rides we went to and that fun bump fest my stomach is now feeling empty.
"Wanna grab something to eat?" I asked her.
She nodded.
We went to the food stalls. I told her to wait at a table while I got something to eat.
I don't know what she would like so I got a bit of well... everything. Corndogs, popcorn, cotton candy, corn cob, shawarma, burgers, hotdog, and a bunch of other food and drinks.
I hurried my way to our table and placed the food on the table.
"I don't know what you'd want to eat so I got a little bit of everything." I told her.
She inhaled deeply.
"Wow, you really did get a bit of everything." She said.
We ate and talked about random stuff like birthdays, favorites and a bunch of other stuff.
Time went by and all that's left on the table were empty wrappers.
"I can't believe we ate all that." She said with awe feeling the table for signs of food.
Funny, even I thought we couldn't, guess we can.
"Me either." I said and a loud burp escaped my mouth.
She looked surprised then giggled.
"Sorry." I apologised.
She continued giggling.
"Its fine, it's part of our system." She said.
I smiled. If other girls heard that they'd be disgusted. Good thing she's not that kind of girl.
"Where to next?" She asked.
I smiled and pulled her close to me.
"The ferris wheel." I told her and guided her to it.
We got in and stayed side by side.
Too bad she can't see the view. I snaked my arm around her waist and kissed her temple.
"I wish you could see the view." I told her.
She placed her hand on mine and she rested her head on my chest.
"Me too, but I'm still scared. I don't want to see that face ever again so this is a small price to pay." she said and snuggled closer.
I held her in a protective way.
We stayed quiet for a while. We were enveloped in a comfortable silence.
After a while she became stiff.
What's wrong?
"What's wrong?" I asked.
Her expression looked panicked. My guard went up automatically. I got a really bad feeling about this.
"We need to get back! Now!" She said exasperated.
Something is definitely wrong.
"What happened?" I asked my voice sounding a bit serious.
"Zeth linked me." She said her eyes containing sadness and worry.
"Its rogues... th-they...
