I woke up early the next morning to prepare him a breakfast since he told me he'll drop by here before going to his office. I put it in a tupperware and paste a note on top of it saying 'I know you'll make it but godluck anyways :)'
It was half past seven when I heard a banging on my door. Talagang sunod-sunod ang pagkatok. I opened the door and I was greeted by a warm hug. He immediately hugged me.
"Kinakabahan ka ba?" I asked
He chuckled. "Why would I? We both know we will close the deal and besides, luck is on my side" he smirked.
Sabi na mahangin to eh!
"I just need your hug. To boost my energy." he added
Umatras ako habang nakayakap siya para makapasok kami at maisara ang pinto dahil nakakahiya kumg may dadaan, umagang-umaga pa naman.
His hug lasted for a minute. "Hindi ako magtatagal baka magbago ang isip ko at hindi na ako pumasok"
"Let me just get your breakfast 'kay?" I said and went to the kitchen.
I handed him the bag. "Sige makakaalis ka na" I laughed.
"Walang goodluck kiss?" he pouted his lips.
"Akala ko ba hindi mo na kailangan ng luck? Kaya go na baka malate ka pa. May hug ka na nga kanina eh."
Sumimangot siya at tumayo na. "Sige, una na ako." He's about to open the door when I called him.
"Wait" I said and walked to him. "Let me give you something" I leaned closer to him and planted a peck on his lips but he has other plan.
He deepened the kiss. The simple kiss became torrid. He cupped my face as he suck my lips causing me to let out a soft moan.
We were running out of air so we stopped. He smiled at me. "You already made my day" he said. "I need to go, sa office na ako kakain. You should eat your breakfast na din" he kissed my forehead.
"Ingat!" I said and waved my hand.
Nang makaligo ako ay dumiretso ako sa kusina para kumain. I heard my phone rang so I went back to my room. It's Bongbong.
"May kailangan?" bungad ko.
"Mom wants you to come home?"
"Wait, nasa Manila na kayo?"
"Yes, now hurry up and get in here."
"Kailan pa kayo dumating?"
"Ten kagabi, hindi ba tinext ni manang sayo?"
I heard baby cries in the background and I heard ate speak. "I totally forgot." then she laughed.
Bongbong sighed. "Uwi na, nakasira ng halaman mga anak mo" he said and ended the call.
Those three are in trouble again. I shook my head and eat my breakfast. After that, inayos ko ang condo ko dahil hindi ko na naman mauuwian ng ilang araw.
Nang makarating ako sa bahay, nadatnan ko sa sala si Ate Imee at Liza na pinapatahan si Borgy. Binibigyan na ng kung anu-anong laruan pero ayaw pa rin tumigil. But when he saw me, he suddenly stopped and giggled. He opened his arms to welcome me.
"Anong mahika meron ka at napapatahan mo yan ng bigla?" Manang asked.
"Sana inagahan mo ang dating, kanina pa yan umiiyak." tawa ni Liza.
"Inaano ka nila Borgy?" pag-aalo ko sa bata pero sinandal niya lang ang ulo niya sa balikat ko. Hinele ko siya hindi din nagtagal ay nakatulog na.
"Lapag mo na. Napagod yan kakaiyak" sabi ni Manang.
"Tara sa garden Irene, nandun si mama tsaka si Bonget." pag-aaya ni Liza kaya sumunod ako.
There I saw them, planting. "Mom!" I caught their attention. Tinanggal ni Mommy ang gloves niya at humalik sa pisngi ko.
"Look what Athena and Hera did to your brother's bonsai" she laughed.
"Asan sila?"
"Nilagay ko sa cage. Don't worry I didn't hurt them, you know I can't do that." he stood up. "Sabi ng mga maids only the two girls did it. Well, knowing Apollo, he's too lazy to do this."
I looked at the plant they're talking about. I think kakabili lang to last month. Nagpaalam ako na kukunin ko ang tatlo.
They look so happy when they saw me. "You naughty dogs. You destroyed Bonget's plant." I said but they just keep on licking me and wagging their tails.
I put on their leashes and went back to the garden. "Athena and Hera wanted to say sorry." sabi ko kay Bongbong.
"How can I resist them. Nagpapacute oh tingnan mo nga." he said as he extend his arms. "Come here"
Pinakawalan ko sila at tumakbo sila sa kanya at inatake ng mga pagdila. I sat down beside Mommy. She's eating soft biscocho from Pasuquin kaya kumuha din ako.
"How's life?" she asked.
"The same mom. How about you? What did you do in these past few days in Ilocos?"
"Nothing much. We just went to your dad's hometown."
We spend the whole day bonding and catching up with each other. Papasok na sila sa trabaho bukas. Mom, Borgy and I will be left home.
I am here in my room lying down, reading a book. It's already two in the afternoon when Greggy called me.
"Told you we can close the deal" bungad niya. I can hear noises in his background. Probably his team, celebrating.
"Kakatapos niyo lang ba?"
"Yes. Actually kaka-alis lang ng mga investors."
"Congratulations Mr. Araneta. So when is the party?" I asked.
Humihina na ang ingay sa paligid niya. All I can hear is footsteps and the sound of the elevator. "On the 17th. Napagkasunduan na isasabay na lang sa christmas party ng company. You'll be my date right? Don't worry ako ang bahala sa susuotin mo."
"Sure. I'll be there. So have you eat your lunch already?"
"Oo. We had a lunchbreak kanina. I'm free tomorrow, can I come to your condo?"
Nagtatrabaho ba talaga to? Bakit panay ang punta sakin.
"Actually nasa bahay ako."
"Then I'll see you tomorrow Irene. I need to hang up now. Bye." he said and ended the call.
After the call bumaba ako. I saw Manang and Borgy in the living room. Borgy is wide awake.
"I thought you're asleep. Ikaw muna dito 'Rene, maliligo lang ako." she told me.
Lumapit ako sa kanila. "Yeah you really need a bath now."
She glared at me and slapped my arm. I just laughed and she went to her room.
Borgy is watching songs for kids. It's like the video is teaching some words. Tumabi ako sa kanya since nasa lapag siya.
"Tita" he giggled.
Pati ako ay nakikinood na din. Later on, I stood up to get food from the kitchen na pwede rin kay Borgy.
"Can you tell me how many are these?" I showed him my two fingers. "You can do it. Di ba you already know how to count kanina?"
He started counting it. "One. Two" he proudly said.
"Very good." I uttered and fed him.
"Ginagawa mo namang parang aso yan" I heard Bongbong. "Pag very good, may treats" that made Liza laugh.
"Kesa naman sayo. Tinatawanan ka nga lang eh. Baka mukha kang clown para sa bata." Liza said. She sat beside me.
"Di nak man katkatawaan Irene baka nalipatam a agkakarupa tay kada daddy. Kasla ak la kano clown, ketdi pati sika?" (Wag kang tumawa Irene baka nakakalimutan mong magkakamukha tayo nila daddy. Mukha daw akong clown, edi ikaw din?)
"Sayo lang applicable yun." I said and we laughed.
Hindi rin nagtagal ay bumaba na din ang buntis. We played and taught Borgy. This kid is such a fast learner.
"Awan balak yo agawid balbalay yo?" (Wala ba kayong balak umuwi sa mga bahay niyo?) I joked to them.
"Actually sabi ko kay Bongbong dun kami uuwi bukas tapos dito kami sa weekends. Baka pagbalayan ti ararya" (Baka pagbahayan ng multo) Liza laughed.
"Agawid kam tun adda ni Tommy. Baka sakbay paskwa" (Uuwi kami pagbalik ni Tommy. Baka before christmas) Imee
Bago magdilim ay inilabas ko ang mga aso ko. Hindi sila pare-pareho ng energy. Super hyper si Hera, sakto lang si Athena habang si Apollo ay napakabagal maglakad kaya bumalik kami sa bahay para tawagin si Bongbong buti at sumama din si Liza.
Apollo is with me, Hera is with Bongbong while Athena is with Liza. We just roam around the house. Madilim na nang maisip namin umuwi. Pagkabalik namin ay nakahanda na ang lamesa.
I went for a quick bath because I feel sticky because of sweat. We had an amazing dinner. We never ran out of topics.
I am now on my bed ready to sleep. Greggy is not replying, probably he fell asleep, he had a tiring day.

I am enjoying my sleep when I felt mommy is beside me. I turned around and I was right.
"Bangon na." she smiled sweetly. "Come on, kanina ko pa naririnig kumakalam ang tiyan mo. Your siblings are already there, sabay-sabay na tayo"
"Yes Mom. Sunod ako" I said but I closed my eyes again.
"Sabay na tayo Irene" she pulled me.
Wala akong nagawa kundi ang bumangon na. Pumasok ako sa banyo para magmumog. Talagang hinintay ako ni mommy.
Pagkababa namin ay nagsisimula na sila. "Dalian niyo uubusan kayo ni Manang ng ulam tingnan mo nakakalahati na niya pagkain niya eh punong-puno yan kanina" pangdadaot ni Bongbong.
"Malamang para sa dalawang tao ang kinakain ko. Ikaw kaya magbuntis!" Manang glared at him.
"Lagi niyo na lang akong kinakawawa ha" he said but Mom just laughed.
"Paano eh lagi kang nantitrip" Liza.
Wala ako sa mood makipag-usap dahil inaantok pa talaga ako. Alam na alam nilang ayokong magsalita kaya hindi na nila ako dinamay.
We're done eating and I'm in the living room with Borgy. Pababa na din sa hagdan ang tatlo.
"Irene, Greggy called me. He's coming over. Nagpaalam siyang lalabas kayo kasama si Mommy at Borgy." Bongbong uttered.
"Bakit ikaw ang cinontact?"
"Where's your phone? Nasa kwarto mo diba kaya hindi mo masasagot." he said as he fix his shoes.
Naiwan ko nga pala kakamadali sakin ni Mommy.
"Sabay na ako sa inyo Bonget." Ate said
"Hindi kami dito uuwi mamaya paano ka uuwi?"
"Edi magpapasundo."
Bago sila lumabas, nagpaalam muna sila kay mommy. Pumunta sila sa akin at humalik kay Borgy. They even kissed me in the cheek!
"Bye ading mi!" tatawa-tawa silang nagpaalam sakin.
Since wala akong gagawin, ako ang magbabantay sa bata. Mommy is busy doing something in her office upstairs.
Maya-maya ay may narining akong doorbell sa labas. Is that him already? My god wala pa akong ayos!
Nagmamadali akong umakyat sa kwarto ko para magsuklay at tingnan kung presentable ba ako. Iniwan ko na lang si Borgy tutal ay nanonood naman.
As I make my way down the stairs, I already saw him watching with Borgy. When he saw me he immediately smiled.
"Good Morning" bati niya.
I smiled and went for a hug. "Good morning. Wala ka bang trabaho? Lagi ka na lang pumupunta dito ah."
"I'm the boss, Miss. I can do my job anytime. Besides I kept on finishing all my works before going here so I can focus to you."
"I'm planning on bringing this little man to the arcade. Also ask your mom to come. Mag-mall ulit tayo" he added.
"Tinatamad ako" simangot ko.
"Mamayang tanghali pa naman" he chuckled. "You'll have time to change your mind"
Well if mommy will come I might change my mind so I went to her office and knocked before opening it.
I saw her on the balcony staring at the sky. "What's wrong mommy?" I asked as I walk near her.
Nilingon niya ako at umiling. "Wala. I just missed your dad so much."
"Wag ka nang malungkot mommy. Sige ka malulungkot din si daddy pag malungkot ka." siniksik ko ang katawan ko para yakapin siya.
"What would I do without you Irene." she cupped my face. "Ikaw ang laging nag-aalis ng lungkot sakin. "Can you sing for me?"
"Now? Mommy naman, umagang-umaga." I chuckled. "Later"
"Tonight? You'll come to my room tonight. You owe me a song ah." she uttered. "Do you need anything?"
"Nasa baba si Greggy, Mommy. He said he wants to bring Borgy sa mall and he's wondering if you want to come. Mamayang tanghali."
"Pag-iisipan ko"
"Mommy sige na. Para hindi ka malungkot dito." pagpipilit ko.
She laughed at me. "Alright Irene, I'll come. Mahihindian ko ba ang bunso ko?"
"Eh hindi naman ako ang bunso"
"Bunso kayong dalawa ni Aimee."
"May ganon ba?" I laughed. "Sige na Mom, sa baba na ako. Will you come?"
Tumango siya at sabay na nga kaming bumaba. We saw Greggy and Borgy laughing with each other. Greggy is teaching him some fruits and animals.
I smiled at my view. He treasure everyone and everything I love. That's an amazing trait of a tough man isn't it?
I wonder kung paano siya maging ama... at asawa.
