Y/N tripped over her clumsy feet on her way back to her cottage. " Why the fuck did I move out into the woods? I should have just forced myself to be social!" She cursed repeatedly under her breath.
The cracking of branches behind her caught her attention tonight, and she scrambled to her feet again. She winced. Shit, this time she'd twisted her ankle! Y/N limped her way down the beaten path, trying desperately to escape the impending doom of the beast that stalked her.
What did it want? She was just an ordinary girl. Average height. Dull hair. Little weight. She wouldn't make a good meal... unless of course it was desperate.
Fuck. Was it?
A low growl came behind her, and she grabbed a nearby tree on the side of thebroad for support. " Go away!"
It's only response was a sly chuckle. She could see its glowing amber or maybe orange colored eyes now. Y/N could just barley make out its spikey blonde hair. A combination that worked well in its favor of attraction. A tail swayed lazily behind it, and the beast smirked at her. She could even make out its canines. Maybe it was a trick of the lighting. After all, the moon wasn't full tonight. It almost was. Tomorrow night it would bask in all of its full glory.
" Go home little flower. I'll come find you tomorrow. "
She stared back startled. This beast just talked???!
Oh god, this thing just said it was going to come for her on the full moon.. it was going to devour her!
Maybe.
Then again legends would say that it would take her for its own. Several hybrid breeds sought out potential mates on the full moon. They were most in touch with their animalistic sides then. They could sense things better, smell things better, and even see things better.
She stood there watching it as it inched forward. " S-stay back.. " She winced as she stepped back on her hurt ankle.
" You hurt yourself. " He growled a little. He blinked, and tilted his head. The moon was shining down on his blondenhair now, and two floppy large ears followed his head to the side a bit. She giggled, and gave him another once over. If he hadn't just started changing her she would have certainly talked to him. He'd scared her. Y/N honestly thought he was a rouge hybrid hunting her. " Come.. I'll take you home. " He said slightly more gentle. " It seems it's my fault you hurt yourself to begin with..." He huffed. " Don't laugh at me either. " He snapped.
Again she kind of giggled. " I'm sorry.. it was just... cute. "
His cheeks flushed as his cold yet smoldering eyes took her in. " Whatever. Come on. " He said standing in front of her now.
She gulped. Could this hybrid be trusted? He didn't seem so bad now that he'd talked to her. So maybe..
He scooped her into his arms since she was daydreaming. She looked up at him. He had no signs of being owned or living with someone. His ear was pierced three times, but that was all. His face was wild, with adorable freckles dotting his cheeks. His eyes that strange amber looking orange. They were distant, and cold, yet she felt they were hotter than fire.
She had never touched a hybrid before. No hybrid had ever came to her, so she felt it just wasn't meant to be. Her hand slowly mad either way to one of his ears, and she tugged on it, pulling his head slightly to the side. He growled, and cast a sideways glance at her. " Don't touch. " He demanded. Her hand instantly retracted, she blushed, and looked away.
" They can be sensitive. " He said after a while. " We're almost to your cottage. " He muttered. She nodded, and sighed softly. Not exactly how she saw her first encounter with a hybrid going.
" What kind of Hybrid are you?" She asked randomly.
He smirked a little again. " Curoius now? I'm a wolf. " He answered.
Her cheeks were so flushed and pretty. He could take her now. But it wouldn't be as special.
" What is your name? And a wolf in this area? But we're islanders. " She said softly. " What are you doing so far away from the mainland?"
" Something called me. Call me Basa." He grinned. The wolf took her inside, and sat her on her bed. He grimaced at the size of her living arrangements. It was so small. . Cramped. He quickly tended to her foot, and left without a other word.
Y/N coukdnt sleep well that night. Her foot hurt, and she kept thinking of Basa. She wondered if he really would be back tonight under the full moon.
The next day was uneventful. Shenwent on her normal walk, and paused at the sire she got to meet Basa. It was still fresh in her mind.
Y/N was on her way home carrying a basket of fruit and little things she needed from the village market. She sighed softlynas the wind blew her hair all around her. Then she heard growls coming from up the road. "Basa?" She asked herself.
She made her way up to the top of the hill, and glanced down the path. Her basket hit the ground at her feet, andnshebcivered her mouth with both hands. Shock hit her with such force that she almost lost her footing.
The blonde, dangerous looking hybrid was locked in a cage. He was bloody and battered. Hybrid hunters. They must have snooped him out while he was walking through the woods. His foot looked bloody. Almost as if he had been caught in a snap or some kind of trap.
She could see the hunters around him. Y/N knew she couldn't outrun them, but she had to do something. So shebhobbled down the brilliant towards them as fast as she could with a fee fruit in her hands. " Hey! This is illegal! Let him go. " She snapped.
Basa stopped his growling at the sound of her voice. He spared her a glance before his ears flattened against his head again at the men.
" Look pretty lady, it ain't your business. Go home. " Sneered one of them. " What is a pretty thing like you doing out here anyway?"
" That is none of your buisness!" She huffed crossing her arms.
" Sir, hernscent is everywhere around here. She must live out here. " A small hybrid on a chain answered.
She glanced at him, and he gave an apologetic look to both her and Basa.
Basa rolled his eyes. She stiffened. Theyneyednhernwithna hunger that gave her terrible chills. " Get off of my land, and let that poor thing go!"
The men glanced at her, and then at then at hybrid. " Its a full moon tonight. We should let our pet have fun with her. " They shared a collective laugh. Except for the little hybrid whose eyes were as wide as saucers. Clearly he didn't want that. Neither did she.
Basa was dead set against it.
She threw the fruit in her arms at the group of men, and tried to run to hide. However, someone caught her by her hair, and pushed her to the ground. Thensmall hybrid tried desperately to reach for her to help her, yet he to was pushed to the ground.
Bads had had enough. With a feral growl he broke the bars with ease around him. " You fuck with me, that's one thing. You fuck with hybrids that is another. You touch my girl, and I'll fucking murder you. " He was holding the man pushing her down my his throat, " In cold blood bitch. " He whispered crushing his throat.
He tossed the limp man to the side, and cast a glanced down at Y/N. " Give me just a moment Flower. " Hensaid softly to her. " The Big Bad Wolf has some hunting to do. "
Chills radiated through her at his words, yet she wasn't afraid. If anything she was excited. She found that terrifying. Excited that people were getting killed... over her?
The small hybrid scampered over to her, and helped her to her feet. " Hurry to your house! " He squeaked.
" What about Basa?" She asked beingnpulled as fast as she could manage by hybrid boy.
" King Basa will be fine. I'm honored he tried to help me! The least I can do is get his mate to safety, and tended to until he is finished. He probably wouldn't want you to see him do this anyway. " He called over his shoulder. He realized she was hurt, and picked her up swiftly.
Basa saw them go. Good. He was holding a lot back. He sisntnwant his pretty Flower to sew him being such a barbarian. That cute little hybrid either. It was him who he had tried to spring free originally. His Flower just happened to be walking by when he got caught. A minor inconvenience.
They laid hands on her though, and he wouldn't have that. With the two of them safely out of harms way, he chuckled. These hunters were already petrified with fear. One of them shit their pants. " Really man? Have some dignity. That little hybrid you were abusing had more dignity than you. Knows loyalty to. " He sneered before promptly snapping necks, and ripping them apart.
The road was a bloody mess, andnso was he. He'd spent far to long taking them apart piece by piece. The moonnwas beginning to crest. He looked up into the sky, and let out the traditional howl.
Mating season had began.
Now, Basa just had to go claim his mate.

" Did you say king? What the hell? " Y/N asked as the hybrid tended tonher wounds. She'd just scrapped her knees and hands a bit. She said she would be fine, and yet here he was making sure he cleaned them with persicion.
" Yes, King Basa. The Wolf Hybrid King. He's been lookin forever for the one he wanted to mate. It seems like he found her. " The young boy smiled.
" Aren't hybrids territorial? Why didn't he try to attack you for running away with me?" She asked curiously.
" He knows he doesn't have to worry about me. He can smell it. I tend to swing the other way. " Henshrugged softly. " Those men have used me several times. "
" That is horrible. " She said filled with disgust for the men.
" It is how we are used most of the time though. Thenkings have been working hard to fix it though. " He smiled softly.
Y/N tended to his wounds as well, and they sat together cuddled in her tiny cottage in comfortable silence. The small leopard, as she'd found out, purred softly against her as hebwaites with her. Should anyone other than Basa come through her door he would attack.
The day droned on, and soon enough the little hybrid stood. His ears twitched, and he paces around. The moon was creating the sky and they both heard it. A loud howl. The leopard knee what it meant. " Mating season has started... the King just approved it. "
She gave him a curious look and came.to stand beside him near the window. " Is that one waiting on you?" She asked spotting another near the trees.
He blushed. " Surely not. He is way to attractive for some scrawny little thing like me..." He shook his head.
The waiting cat hybrid's tail swisher around. It's eyes trained on the house. It made the smaller boy nervous and sort of hopeful?
Y/N smiled. " I think he wants you.." She teased softly with a giggle.
" Hush... it can't be possible. " He chewed on his lip.
" It's possible. His hirininesnare going crazy I can smell them from here..." Basa said hisbhead in between the two of theirs.
Both of them jumped, and Y/N started swatting at him. She jumped all over him about terrifying people, and made him go shower.
The small boy giggled. " I have never seen a king act like that. " He said wiping a stray tear. " You really are special to him. "
She smiled with a blush. " I'm kind of glad I am. But I'm scared. Most hybrids don't even bother coming around me. " She played with her fingers. " Why now?"
He shrugged. " Probably wait for the right time. Timing is everything to us. " He smiled.
She glanced back at the window, and laughed. The other cat hybrid was closer now, much closer. His tail swisher, and he tilted hisnhwad when she looked back. " I see the murder Kitten. Has moved closer.. "
The younger looked out as well, and his eyes widened in surprise. His own tail twisted, and he bit his lip hard.
" Go on Xion. Your mate is waiting on you boy. You can come visit us sometime. " Basa said from the bathroom door.
Xion was hesitant, and glanced back at Basa. When rhey all looked back at the window the cats face was pretty much pressed against it. Y/N giggled, and opened it. She gave the black Leonard's ears a little scratch. " He is coming. Be patient. " She smiled softly. It blinked at her, and then looked at Xion.
The leopard slowly went to the door, and was swiftly picked up and tossed over the black leopards shoulder. He squealed as they ran into the trees again.
Bass put his hands on either side of Y/N's head. She turned slowly. " My turn Flower. " He grinned.
She was beautiful trapped against the wall between his arms. He played with a stand of her hair before taking her to her bed.
His sharp nail made quick work with her clothes, and a little blood trickled as he ran his claws down. She gasped the sensation not unwelcome. His were gone just as quickly. He carefully ran his hands down her body. He growled, and stopped just at her sensitive womanhood.
She shivered under him. She was caught in the moment. Those beautiful Amber orange eyes caught her. Captivated her. Stared straight I to her soul. His hands roamed her body setting her on fire. His growl sent chills straight through her, and right in between her legs. This man knew what he was doing, and he did it well.
He teased her slowly, taking in how ready she already felt for him. " I'm going to finally have my mate.. " He breathed out roughly. Without much more of a warning he'd already entered her. Basa held her close as she adjusted and held him tightly. She shimmied her hips, and he growled.
Bada didn't bother holding back. He was rough, and wild. His instincts fuelled by the full moon. Y/N moved her best with him, lost in the blonde, beautiful, wolf, and he in her. He felt her tighten around him, and when she came he gripped her hips tightly. He would leave bruises for sure.
Basa found himself chasing his release, and came shortly after inside his pretty Flower. " Mine forever Flower."
She nodded, exhausted and tired. " Yes Basa. " she mumbled softly. " Forever. "
