Caitlyn held her arm around my shoulder "Silco's goons aren't far behind. We have to keep moving." She panted
Vi had her arm around my waist "What the hell is that?" We all looked to the huge eye sign
Caitlyn spoke up "The sign."
"Never mind, we all need to get down from this hill. can you two just help me to the edge." I managed to rasp out
"Of course!" They said in unison
"Y/n Can you do this in your..." Caitlyn stopped conversing as I jumped off the edge
I thought I had a bit of strength to just simply surge to the bottom of the sign but I was mistaken. I slammed my wound hard against the bars and occasionally my cold fingers banged against the metal which made my body hurt even more.
"shit!" I heard vi shout but my hearing felt faint
(Jinx pov)
Sevika exhaled sharply before speaking "We lost her."
"Lost who?" I spread a can of green gas around the room which made Sevika cough and wheeze in desperation for air.
I sat her down in Silco's chair and swiped a sharp knife across her chest
"I feel like you and I got off on the wrong arm." I smile "Maybe we should try the other."
the woman chuckles "No need. It's your sister and that close friend of yours. they're back. and they're looking for you. It's not what you think. She's an enforcer now with some other girl, seems that vi and y/n have taken a liking to her. Guess they both replaced you.
"You're lying!" I yelled in her face
Sevika simply chuckles "Why bother? Her back in town, it's only a matter of time before you implode and Silco finally gets the message that you're about as good for our cause as you were for your family." She spat back at me
"Jinx." She ended her sentence
My head dropped and I started to sniffle and wail but instead of an emotional sob outcome the hardest sneeze I've ever created made my feet shoot up into the air. It made me giggle hysterically "Ten outta ten, toots! I think I know just how to deliver that message."
(Y/N pov)
They both jumped down to me and helped me up from my fall. turns out we stumbled across the one place I felt true fear consume my insides. Zaun has its fair share of bad stenches and strange people, but this place was much colder and solitary than that.
"What is this place?" Cait asked
"It's where the kind of people you topsiders don't want to think about, winding up," Vi responded
people whimpered and wailed in the distance, Vi looked at the suffering civilization "It was never this big, though. There!" she pointed at the rundown house a few feet down from us as we all worked together to support my body and walked at a slow pace towards the door and opened it
We walked inside and they placed me down onto a long wooden box and I tried to make myself comfortable but the stinging and ache in my stomach made me groan in agony.
I tried uttering something but my breath kept hitching and the panic in my heart rose higher.
I was so exhausted I ended up passing out from the pain.
(Vi pov)
Caitlyn pulled out a cloth with water on it and she motioned towards y/n but I shielded her from Caitlyn
"I know you have your reservations about me, but this will only work if you can trust me," Caitlyn spoke firmly
"It doesn't work. It never has. You topsiders always find a way to screw us." I retorted
"I suppose topside is to blame for all your misfortunes." Caitlyn mocked
"No. Not all of them." I ended up admitting
"We aren't monsters, you know. We're people, just like you." Caitlyn slowly patted the cloth onto y/n's stomach
"You don't know anything about me or y/n. I bet you she hasn't even told you about me has she?"
"she talked about you a lot actually. there wasn't a day that went by where she didn't mention "the friend" of hers. She always loved you y'know, even when you fell out sometimes or when you fought with your sister." when Cait said those words Vi stopped for a moment
"She loved me?" the woman spoke softly
"Sounds like it to me..." Caitlyn sighed
"I know you like her topsider, I knew it from the beginning." Vi breathed heavily "I haven't always done the right thing and all I want is someone good for her. whatever happens protect her for me and I swear to god you better treat her right-" I tried joking
"It's all right. you'll get a chance to start over after all of this is finished." the girl chuckled and continued dabbing the cloth onto y/n. "Despite what you're saying about yourself, I can tell... you have a good heart."
I exhaled at those familiar words "You've got a good heart."
"I'm going to see if there's any more water outside. And I think you should get some time to talk to y/n about your feelings towards her. I've had my chance but I never took it. Now it's your turn." Caitlyn smiled at me and walked out the door.
I heard the door close behind me and soon enough y/n started to jolt up the pain came back to her stomach and she winced. "Shhh. It's okay I'm here" I cupped her cheek and tried comforting her.
(Y/n pov)
(flashback)
I began to hear the faint sounds of screams and yells from the distance
the fight between piltover and Zaun had begun and many people had lost their lives that day including my father.
I put my small hand over my mouth to block out my small cries
"your okay." I repeated to myself in attempt to soothe myself
my mother came running around the corner of the plank I was hiding behind and kissed my temple as tears spilt from her eyes. "i found you!" I cried and hugged her tightly knowing my mother was safe in my arms again.
"I wish you could have had a better life y/n/n. you are too young to be in a world like this" she cried to me
"remember to find yourself a good family okay? I love you so so much"
then all of a sudden everything was torn inside me as I saw her being beaten to death right before my eyes.
(end of flashback)
I held onto Vi's arm tightly as my fingers paced back and forth over the tattoos she had.
she leaned forward and kissed the top of my head "At least you're relaxed now" she smiled down at me
Caitlyn came back with the medicine
"how's she doing?" Cait asked
"well the wound still looks pretty bad but at least she isn't wailing in pain" Vi responded
they made me drink the medicine and unexpectedly a rush of discomfort spread across my body which made me scream in agony. Vi held me tighter in attempt to soothe my discomfort
"Easy, easy, easy. We need you back on your feet." Cait said calmly and pulled me up on my feet. after that, I felt a lot better to carry on with our mission.
"What was the name Sevika gave you? Jinx?" Cait made conversation with Vi
Vi grunts "Right. Jinx. How could I forget?'
"We're going to have to be more careful now. Silco will be watching our every move..." I tensed at the name
Caitlyn hit her back on the concrete wall accidentally and turned to face it, she brushed her fingers along the wall to find the names 'violet' and 'powder' "You used to live here? Who's Powder?"
Vi exhaled "My sister and y/n's friend. I thought she died, but, no. I have to try and find her."
"How do you not know if your sister is alive or dead?" she queried
"It's hard to check up on people from inside a concrete cell." Vi talked to Cait sarcastically
"What, you don't have parents?" Caitlyn solicited
"No! They were killed by enforcers. And from the looks of it y/n doesn't seem to have her parents, does she? you don't understand the shit that has happened down here. now stop asking questions." Vi ended their talk
her eyes then abruptly turned to the door at the sudden sound
"Vi, what's wrong?" I put my arm on her shoulder and looked at her. I stopped as I started to hear it too and pulled out my knife.
she opened the door to find Silco with those cloaked people surrounding his slender frame
he laughed and looked right at us "Vander's prodigy." the men around him whimper and grunt
Silco simply chuckles "I've regretted that we never had the opportunity to speak."
"What have you done with Powder." said Vi as i clenched the switchblade tightly in my hands
"I've freed her. Candidly, I thought you were the prize of your secondhand family. But Jinx...Oh. She is more than I ever imagined." he croaked
"I'm gonna find her and erase whatever fucked-up delusions you put in her head. But first, I'm gonna bring your bullshit empire down all around you." Violet stood her ground, her head hung low
"You don't know your limits, girl. It's what got Vander killed. What drove your sister away. And it's why I'm here right now." Silco's men started walking towards us
"Yeah, well...You talk too much." Vi clenched her fists and backed away from the 3 men and punched hard into the wooden sign which started to fall and break on top of silco and his men
"Wherever you are, light it up and I'll find you."

we run for our lives to get as far away as we could from Silco. I pushed my legs from the dry ground and breathed heavily the longer we ran. Vi had bumped into a man and flipped him off as I noticed blue powder in the distance. I grabbed onto Vi's jacket sleeve and made her look in my direction and instantly she noticed. we had our suspicions but was quickly pulled back into reality as Caitlyn yelled at us to move.
we got up onto a large round balcony and I noticed the same girl before. Blue braided hair and a skinny build. it was-
"Powder?" Vi spoke holding my hand tightly
the wind howled as the girl turned her head towards us
"Vi? Y/n?" She said to us and that's when I knew
I sobbed with Vi and ran towards the girl "Oh, Pow!" I cried
we all hugged each other tightly as we reunited as one family again
"I found you!" I repeated those familiar words to her "I thought I lost you. you disappeared and I thought you were dead I..." I stopped talking and cried even more
"I'm so sorry, Powder. I... I tried to come back too. I promise I did. But I... I got arrested." Vi stammered
"Marcus?" Powder questioned
"I don't know. I... It doesn't matter. I just... I never thought I'd see you again." she cupped Powder's cheek
"Are you real?" Powder mumbled
"Yes, of course. It's me, Vi, your sister." Vi stammers "I'm here." she then pulls me into her side "we are right here. And we promise we'll never leave you or each other again."
Powder then started to cry too "Things changed when you both left. I changed."
"We know, Pow-pow." I kissed her head just like what I had done the day she left my grasp. "You did what you had to do to survive." Vi held her shoulders.
"We did too. It's okay. What matters is we're all together." Vi wiped the tears off of her sister's cheek.
the sound of running grew louder and louder
powder noticed and pulled out her gun
Powder gasps "Who's she?"
"Who are you?" Cait looks at her up and down
"It's okay. She's a friend." Vi attempted to calm her
"Sevika wasn't lying? You're with an enforcer?" Pow then looked to Vi and me
"And you! you're working with this girl! I thought you said you hated piltover!" Powder motioned the gun towards me
"hold on...Your sister is Jinx?" Caitlyn put the pieces together
"Caitlyn, just listen, we can work this out." Vi tried to calm Cait from doing anything to hurt Powder.
"You can't say anything y/n. You're an enforcer just like her!" Powder yelled
"Please just let me explain..." I tried reaching for her but she wouldn't let me near her
"This is a trick! You're playing me! Shut up! I'm in no mood." she began to look around her talking to the wind.
Caitlyn looked confused "We didn't say anything."
"I wasn't talking to you!" Pow exclaimed
"Powder, it's okay. Let's just talk please." my voice was calm but I knew deep down I was afraid of what she may do.
"Stop calling me that. It's Jinx now. Powder fell down a well." she spoke with pure poison
"You're not a jinx. God, I never should have..." Vi was cut off
"Stop talking to me like I'm a child! Was that why you came? For this stupid stone?" Powder chuckles
"No, I don't even know what that is, I..." Vi lost her words
Powder laughed in her face "You're a class act, Sister. Sister. Thought I missed her. Bet you wouldn't miss her."
Vi pulled me behind her as the gun pointed directly at us
"Powder! I'm here for you. Only you. You can fire that thing if you want, but I'm not going anywhere. I'm not going to abandon you again." Violet touched her arm
"Everyone, shut up, I need to think," she spoke to the wind again and quickly turned
"Do you hear that?" she aimed her gun around us
I looked around for a sign of any sort of sound until I saw these masked people hovering towards us.
Me, Vi and Powder clamped together ready for the fight that had just begun.
I pulled out the metal bar from my back and swung for the guy coming towards me
I ran towards a woman and swung at her hoverboard.
I glared to my right and witnessed Powder killing every person she saw.
"Powder!" Vi cried but someone came up behind her and knocked her out
"No!" I cried out and ran towards her and as soon as I made it to her I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head and that's when I fell and was knocked out cold.
The Firelight Leader spoke, "Take her."
"Vi? Y/n? No!" Powder screamed
