When hearing the smooth voice of his companion, he had easily woken up. He woke up in sweat, absolutely confused to what happened.
'What the hell..'
He slightly got up, throwing the blanket off of him because of how he was too hot. Frowning from not remembering what happened and to why he was sweating. He doesn't remember what he was dreaming...Was it even a dream at some point?
"You alright?"
"Urgh..Yeah, I'm fine."
Whatever happened had gotten him anxious, what made him woke up in sweat?
"Motherfucker, apologize for waking us up!"
'Huh?'
"Oh, I'm not good enough, my magic is ass, I am not strong enough.' WE UNDERSTAND, PLEASE."
"Can you please stop yelling and be kind to him, before I kick you out."
He doesn't know what he was talking about, he didn't understand, he didn't know what he did wrong. A little explanation could help.
Although he Ignore him, getting up from his bed and did the usual for the morning.

Another morning, another time to walk through the corridor, heading to the dining hall once again to eat breakfast. He didn't get to eat dinner last night due to having a somewhat long conversation with Asher and Nova. Others are used to him not being able to eat dinner, lunch or breakfast, so they think it's a normal thing for him to do. He wouldn't get into trouble for that, anymore.
"If you want to vent to someone, you can vent to us, (____)."
'What do I even need to vent? I'm perfectly fine, I don't know what you are talking about.'
"Dumbass, we heard you shaming on yourself. You're not perfectly fine."
'Since when?!'
"SINCE THE TIME WE HEARD IT!"
Nova was irritated, he couldn't help but feel furious to the man who didn't know what he did. (____) ignore them again due to how ridiculous what they were saying. It could be true, but he wouldn't want to think that. He would never say such ridiculous thing to himself...Well, depends.
Well, anyways, as he was walking towards the dining hall he heard somebody call out to him,
"(____), where are you going?"
He replied back at the person by yelling,
"I'm hungry..?"
"Breakfast is over you dumb fuck!"
The person yelled back, from not that far away. (____) start to get confused and turn to them, seeing an familiar silver hair male from kilometers away.
"What?! And you didn't tell me!!"
"How the hell am I suppose to tell you when you always wake up so late!"
The Silver hair male comes closer to him, slightly looking up at him with his arms cross.
"You're stupid as hell."
"Okay and? People can't be stupid now? Jeez."
(____) roll his eyes. He start to walk away from his friend, but the other stop him once again,
"Where are you going? I haven't finish talking to you yet."
"Uhm, to my ROOM? And you're just probably gonna scold me or something."
"No I'm not."
Even if (____) was getting kinda annoyed of Solid, he still stay since he didn't want the other to feel bad about himself, but not like he..Care or anything. He just wants to know what he wants from him.
"Okay, whatever. What do you want?"
"Uh...Well, I just wanna know if you...
If you're free tonight?"
The black hair male spill his coffee, watching (____) and his friend in shock.
"Nova, you dumbass!"
"HE..HE ASK HIM IF HE'S FREE TONIGHT?!"
"And? Clean that shit up!"
(____) look at his friend in surprise, not expecting for him to ask him that.
He start to smile at him, pink start to tinted his cheeks, but it was barely visible.
"Well..Yeah, I don't have to do anything anyways."
"..Alright. Just dress nicely tonight. And don't ask why!"
"Oooo, it's a date!"
After (____) had mentioned it, he got a slap on the face. He laugh at Solid behavior, seeing his red face, he seemingly looks angry and flustered.
"No you bastard! Like I would ever go out on a date with you!"
"You would.."
"Fuck off!"
He start to storm away from (____), having his face still flustered as ever.
(____) watch as Solid's figure start to fade away as he rub the spot that Solid had damage, smiling.
"(____)! YOU'RE FIRST DATE?!"
'NO IT'S NOT.'
"Nova, stop acting so childish."
"B-but he..He!"

"It's not a date! It's not a date!..He doesn't understand!"
"Solid..I think he understood that. You're just overreacting."
"No I'm not! He's...He's a dumbass!! I can't believe I would ever take him out to a restaurant!"
"..Isn't that your choice?"

(____) POV
I was walking through the corridor once again since there's nothing for me to do. I missed breakfast, now I gotta wait for lunch. Waking up late is horrible! But waking up early is also horrible! But if I had to choose between waking up late or early, I rather wake up late since I just want to nap....You know, I just need my beauty sleep, that's all.
While heading to my room, I saw an familiar figure..And it wasn't Solid again.
Hey, I know that long silver hair! It's captain Nozel.
What is he doing here?
My curiosity took over me. I went over to him and decided to greet him,
"Hey captain! What are you doing here?"
The man turn around, now facing me. I was confused when he gave me a death stare at first, but his expression turn normal.
"..What are you doing here?"
"Well, I should be asking you that. But I was heading to my room!"
"I see."
"And you..?"
"I'm heading to...Somewhere."
"And where is that?"
Yeah, my curiosity really took over me for some reason. I keep asking this man questions, where is he going? I need to know, even if it means nothing important to me. I. Am. Curious.
"You don't need to know, I don't think it's your business."
"Hmm, well, I wanna know? Can't a guy get curious?"
"...I don't think you would wanna know."
"Is it a meeting or something?"
"No...
You know what, if you want to know that bad, then how about you accompany me there?"

3rd person POV
"Ah, now I get it."
The two people sit on a chair beside a bed, staring at a certain red head 'sleeping'.
One of them felt guilty because of being so curious..He didn't realize, he didn't understand, until he himself follow his captain.
He got horrible flashbacks, he didn't like it, he still blame himself for what happened.
He want apologize for failing to protect a person that is stronger than him.
The room was filled was silence, the captain and his member didn't want to speak to eachother, since it would be awkward...They just stare at the sleeping man, afraid of him not making it out alive.
The h/c male wasn't so calm about this, he still remembered what happened and he will seek for revenge to whoever did this to him.
"You know, I just wanna say that I'm sorry...For being a failure of a Magic Knight. I..I understand how you feel right now, I could've save him, I could've take the hit and everything would be fine....I am deeply-"
"Why are you apologizing? It wasn't even your fault. And be thankful that you're alive and well, I don't think the others would want to lose you.
And listen, it's not your fault that you failed to protect him..You tried your best to, and that's more than enough."
"What? More than enough? He is the one who tried to protect me, and he's the one who got badly injured while I tried to help him only when he was down! Stop encouraging me, captain. You know nothing."
"I might not know what happened back then...But I know you tried your hardest. At least you tried to help him when his down instead of doing nothing. I'm sure he appreciates you more than anything..."
"You..You don't understand! That's not 'more than enough'!"
The other grip his pants, holding back tears, a shadow of guilt darkened his eyes(Whatever this means). He didn't like how his captain was responding like he's okay for what he has done.
"I've..I've failed-"
"Failed of what? You're still here to prove that you can still protect other people, even if you think you're guilty of not protecting a person that acknowledge your existence, you can still get stronger and protect the others while you can wait for the one who acknowledge you wake up from his coma.
You're saying nothing but stupid things, you're the one who doesn't understand!
Blaming yourself isn't the right thing to do, and people like you should understand that. You're alive and well, if I lose you too, then it wouldn't good will it?"
(____) was surprised, he look up again and stare at his captain, seeing the other stare back with a frown on his face. He didn't know wether his captain was joking or not, he didn't realize a man like him would....Care about him? He cares about his existence, he didn't just think he's some sort of a lazy jerk that sleep all day..
"You still can be a great Magic Knight, you still have more time to do it. You can show him that you've finally grow for the sake of this Kingdom..You can still protect the people around you."
He suddenly makes a move, grabbing the others hands, and stare at him with serious filled his eyes. While the h/c male stare with adoration filled his eyes.

"You are important, to me and the other Silver Eagles. You are not just some guy that I just pick from the Magic Knights exam, I acknowledge your power, I acknowledge what you are. You are worthy. You will become a great Magic Knight soon enough."
