Haeyoon's;POV
I sat at the edge of the café,wondering deeply how we hadn't got much costumer entering yet.
It was in the middle of winter in Busan,where it was clearly snowing around with it's flawless looking scenery for me. Ofcoures they're wouldn't be a single one going towards our long opened cafe that has been going on for about years since then, cause now it was passed to me.
"Hey, aren't you gonna go inside?,It's literally cold here"Sunoo. My childhoods friend since forever came by with some coffee in his hands looking bright as usual.
"Nope,in not that cold. Thank you in advice though"I gave a smile. Seeing him shook his head in disappointment and sat next to me helding his laugh in.
"Aigoo,says that one who's cheeks Redding right now"He didn't hesitate to freely hug me out of the blue, knowing I was actually cold cause of my cheeks.
Yeah,I'm not blushing but that's how my skin reacts when something cold hits in.
"Limsu,is actually serving a costumer right now. And they were enjoying the Sunday special that you added."With hearing his words. My eyes lit right up cause of knowing there was still one enjoying an ice cream during this winter.
"That's great!"I exclaimed back. Letting go of each other's embraced as I pursed my lips suddenly remembering something.
Something... that has been bothering me for a long while.
"Is it your dad again Haeyoon?"I gulped,not wanting for him to notice. Although he caught me already due to his skills of reading expression.
"You gotta stop learning about reading people you know,."I joked, avoiding his gaze that was following me chuckling to feeling my eyes starting to water.
"As a soon psychologist,it's part of knowing Yoon. Come on pls face me"I felt his hand,go nearer both my cheeks with his warm palms.
He was smiling genuinely more than ever,like he understands my whole situation that is willing to give comfort. making me more teary and try to get out from his grip that was placed onto my face.
"Crying might help,but that doesn't mean it has to go on and on Haeyoon. It has been years since uncle passed away and I know your broken, for being attached to him,but atleast stay strong he doesn't want you to be this despaired Haeyoon"
I sobbed,feeling myself broke more down to tears.His words was actually what I needed to hear and cause of his strength passing down to me,I just knew he was right.
"What's the use me being your friend when your feeling down,in the middle of the night with no one hm?"I closed my eyes letting it fell down warmly. As I felt him drag me to a tight hug.
I couldn't be more thankful enough when he was my side. All I knew was I'm slowly gaining strength.
"I- I know that I'm such a cry baby whenever I just thought of dad all the time,and it's a self-destruct but I can't thank you enough Sun"I believe,words can't really describe how much I was really thankful,but deeply I am.
"Okay okay enough,I don't want this to change into a thank you contest."he smiled with his eyes, before I saw his hand lean in with a paper in it.
I tilted my head in confusion after I gave a gaze at him,"what's this?, another prank saying my mom got accepted on her work, pfft! It's not gonna work mom still hasn't even been interviewed yet so try next+"my sentence no longer got to be spoken when his hand was placed right at my mouth,to shutting me up completely.
"It's not silly!,it's for you."I became deeply more curious,by just staring at the envelope right at my hands.
I slowly ripped the tape off it,nervously and noticed an word right before I even pulled it out.
Employed.
"I noticed you were really struggling to bringing this café alive along with you and your mom's tight bills,and since they were hiring I decided to apply you there,. You haven't really gotten a decent job for once so"
It was an job for Babysitting, where you take care of kids when both their parents are busy or away.
It's a job... A real Job,where I can earn salary.
"Thank you,Thank you. Thank you thank youuu!"I embraced him tightly with me,trying to grasp some air due to my runny nose and tears going down once again.
"But..."I paused,looking at him with a worried expression plastered on my face as I read the same sentence that I feared.
"It's on Seoul,that means I have to take an train,or an airplane. It will cost alot"I said in a worried tone,while I heard him let out a chuckle.
Seriously when is he gonna stop chuckling around when he can just tell me, what's the catch.
"Well,since the owners are really so nice and you know wealthy as heck,They got it for you."He emphasized the wealthy word with a gesture.
While my mouth hanged right open,They really paid for it,did they really expect me to work from them when it's just a simple babysitting work that'll probably last for about a day.
"Why did they prepared so much,just to babysit their children. Besides it's at seoul where we are way far from it!"I said with a tone of denying.
"I can't leave my mom too. She the only one I have and I'll take care of her no matter what,."I stated,gulping hard as I gave him back the envelope.
"That job,. It might help alot,but I can't risk leaving my mom alone,I'm fine here were we can just work more harder and try to find more reliable costumers"I gave an smile,feeling really satisfied at just working here.
"I'm not forcing you or anything Haeyoon,but you can't also risk diving in poor with aunt also working when she is really weak"His words,aimed right to my sense.
I do love seeing my mom happy, laughing and most of all seeing her healthy. Without dad,we three along with my sister,we can't just really stay put to peace when we are attached to him deeply. And having the news of him passing away,I was full of despair.
"Screw it,I'll think 2 days"I gave in,and snatched the envelope out from Sunoo's hands. And walked off his sight before he can even see me cry for the 8th time of the hour,not hours but really minutes,.
"She's crying again~"I heard him say in a teasing tone, before I turned around glaring sharply.
He knows me really well,that he can even try to sense what I was feeling rather than just reading me. He was a total twin of mines,who understands me completely.
"Sunoo-ah,your so heavy!. Stop clinging you arms around me!"I yelled,trying to escape his tight grip to my waist. Clinging around like a lost toddler.
"Waeyooo,your leaving soon?,why not make the most of it."He replied with an whiny tone that echoed inside the café.
"I said in two days I'm gonna decide!!,not go you litte-"I stated loudly,that also echoed around.
While i pushed his cheeks hardly,out from my shoulder that had been attached there since he started to cling like a koala.
"Yahh!,my cheeks!. Don't you know how much I take care of this to be such a glass"He argued. Making me let out a frown.
He himself is a skincare enthusiast,Wich means he takes care of his skin well not to mention the time we mostly put face mask on,with this thing that you roll on your face,and it somewhat is relaxing,but my problem is he takes it seriously to the point we argue about it.
"Gosh a splash of water can't really clean my cheek but a whole session of skincare!"
"I get it,it takes you hours to clean your face just cause my bare hands is full of bacteria, again how many times do you need to actually make me say it huh?"I ranted, seeing his face lead it to a pout.
Oh god I'm starting feel sorry again!?.
I turned around with my hands crossed pretending to ignore him sulking behind me.
"I'm speaking honestly here,and all he did is make that pouty Freakining face!,fvcking cute!" I whispered scream,tempting to shove the cup I was holding right at my mouth in any seconds.
"Haeyoonnnn"My shoulders went slightly up,cause of hearing him with the tone of threatening.
"Oh please what did I do now!?"I said facing him slowly.
"Stap cursing!,it doesn't apply to being attractive at all."He told with a demanding voice,I smiled painfully nodding immediately right after he glared towards my soul and left.
"Mr,know it all"
"I heard that!!"
