"Parang mas excited ka pa sa bride niyan ah." he said.
"Siempre naman, I am super excited for Jia. BFF ko ang ikakasal. Teka, ready na ba yung isusuot mo?" tanong ko.
Hindi ko na pala naasikaso ang damit niya. Halos bihira na kasi kaming magpang-abot dito sa bahay. He is always busy.
"Yes, it's all ready. May tatapusin lang ako ngayon sa office ko. Let me know when you want me to prepare babe." sagot niya sabay tayo na.
"Okay." I answered while sipping my hot coffee.
Hindi nagtagal ay dumating naman na ang mag aayos sa akin.
At exactly 11, me and Anton are both ready. Palabas na kami ng bahay ng biglang may tumawag sa kanya.
"Sorry babe, I'll answer this first. Just wait in the car." sabi niya.
"Hurry up, we can't be late." I said.
Tumango naman ito sabay talikod at pumunta sa may side. Sino ba ang tumawag at kailangan pang lumayo sa akin, huh? Pwede naman niya itong sagutin sa tabi ko o habang nasa sasakyan kami.

Nagtataka lang ako kasi wala pang text o tawag si Bea today. Sabagay, she is being extra cautious kasi alam niyang kasal ni Jia today at magkasama kami ni Anton. She will just wait for my text bago siguro tatawag.
I decided na mauna na nga kay Anton sa sasakyan. I was about to open the door when a hand beat me to it. Nagkadaiti tuloy ang mga kamay namin.
Naamoy ko ang pabango ng taong nasa tabi ko. The smell is familiar. Napangiti ako.
"Let me do that for you Ma'am." sabi ng taong nagbukas na sobrang lapit sa akin.
"Bea?" I asked before looking at her.
"Yes Ma'am, at your service!" sagot niya habang pinapapasok ako sa loob.
Napangiti ako ng todo pagkakita sa kanya.
Oh, how I miss seeing her again with her usual get up but it's a bit different this time. Naka black slacks ito instead of jeans. She looks cool in her white top and black jacket plus the familiar black Ray-Ban sunglasses. Nakalugay ang buhok niya.
Ang papi, grabe.
"Are you done looking?" she whispered while smirking.
Shit, nakatunganga pa pala ako dito. I looked around and checked if there are other people around us. I saw Tukne sa may gate kausap si Kuya Boy. Buti na lang at walang nakakita sa reaction ko pagkakita kay Bea.
"You look lovely, by the way. I would have given you a kiss but that will be inappropriate my lady." she said when I remained quiet.
I giggled like a schoolgirl.
"What are you doing here?" tanong ko pagkapasok sa sasakyan.
Sasagot pa sana siya pero may narinig na kaming papalapit na mga yabag. She looked at me discreetly before closing the door.
"Let's go!" Anton shouted as he emerged from the other side of the car.
Nagulat ako dahil halos sabay lang kaming pumasok. Kuya Boy and Bea both get in the car at the front, sa passenger seat si Bea. Diyata't sasama si Bea sa amin?
Of course, siya ang bodyguard ninyo Madam Gob.
Napatalon ako ng biglang dumukwang sa akin si Anton, akala ko yayakapin ako.
"Relax." he whispered as he instantly pulled my seatbelt and secured it for me.
"Thank you." I said.
Ngumiti siya sa akin. Akala ko ay lalayo na siya pero mas lalo pa siyang lumapit sa akin. Napahawak ako sa balikat niya para magkaroon kami ng konting space.
"You are so beautiful babe." malakas na sabi niya sabay halik sa lips ko bago umupo ng diretso.
Sa sobrang bilis ng ginawa niya ay hindi na ako nakaiwas pa. I don't know how to react to be honest.
Masyadong tuso ang mga galawan ni Anton, alam niyang hindi ako makakapalag, hmmmp!!!! I have to be alert all the time.
Tumikhim si Kuya Boy na halatang nakita ang ginawa ni Anton sa akin. Bea is not moving in front. Hindi ko alam kung may nakita siya. Inayos ko ang aking upo at tumingin na lang sa labas.

"Ikaw ba BDL eh nakapunta na ng Balesin island?" tanong ni Kuya Boy.

Halos malaglag ang mga mata ko pagkakita kay Jema.

I can't see properly what he is doing pero sobrang lapit niya at ang tagal. Napasulyap na rin si Kuya Boy sa kanila. At the end, nahagip ko sa salamin ang paghalik ni Gob kay Jema. Ohhh, parang kinurot ang puso ko kaya napaupo ako ng diretso.
They talked about the wedding so I concentrated on looking out for any unusual things on the road. Kaso tinanong ako ni Kuya Boy kung nakapunta na ako sa Balesin island. Oo naman, I've been there but I won't tell them baka usisain pa nila ako dito.
"Ah hmm, hindi pa po." sagot ko.
"Oh hi there, BDL! Welcome back. It's nice to see you back on your feet." Gob Anton said.
Nagtagpo saglit ang aming mga mata sa rear mirror. He was smirking when he said those words but changed it to smile when Jema looked at him.
"Thank you Governor." I replied while glancing to them at the back.
"I should give you a raise for doing an excellent job especially in guarding my wife. Without you, who knows what would have happened to her. Right, babe?" he lengthily said sabay hawak sa kamay nito.
"Yes, babe. BDL indeed deserves a raise." Jema awkwardly answered.
"Do you think that you fairly earn a pay rise BDL?" the governor asked.
"It's up to you governor. Kung sa tingin nyo po ay karapat dapat ako." sagot ko.
Tanungin ba naman ako on the spot huh.
"Oo. Sa tingin ko ay sobrang galing mo sa trabaho. Kaya nga ipinagkakatiwala ko sayo ang buhay namin ng asawa ko. Bukas, pumunta ka sa opisina ko para maayos natin ang kontrata mo. You can work directly for me BDL, we can easily rip your employment contract with Ms. Gaston." he said.
