We walked so much that my legs started to hurt but we were finally there. I was so happy when the door opened. It felt like I was in heaven, guitars over guitars, violins, drums and a piano, a big one. I look at Izzy and I think he saw the same thing because he looked back at me like he knew. We go to a boy with big, big hair and I ask
" Hi ! Can I try that piano for a second ?"
" Sure if you know to play it "
" Oh you have no idea" I said with a big smile on my face
I go to the piano and I sat down for a second trying to think at a good song. I started singing dream on from Aerosmith. I haven't sang at the piano for so long, I missed the feeling. After a finished I closed my eyes for a second and I sighed seeing the price. I will never have my piano, . I look at Izzy and again it's like he knew what I was thinking and but he tried to smile even though he knew that can't help me. The boy with the big hair looked at me surprised
" Wow, dude it was amazing ! You should be a singer"
" I'm in a band called Hollywood Rose with him" I said pointing at Izzy
" That's nice"
I get up and I said
" Do you have microphones ?"
" Yes, sure we have, come with me"
Me and Izzy go after him and he stops at a shelf
" Here we have the most expensive at 1135 dollars "
" Yeah well... the most cheapest is?" I
embarrassed
" This one, at 120 dollars " I look at Izzy, Izzy looks at me and says
" We have only 300 dollars at us, please show me a guitar, I kinda know what I want but maybe you have here something more interesting. "
" My favorite guitar from here is this one. I play in bands too and I am a lead guitarist so I tell you, this one is really good " said the boy
" You play guitar ? " I asked astonished
" Yeah, since I was 10 "
" Can you play me something ? "
" Yeah, sure " said him with a big smile on his face. He looked cool without even trying. He put the guitar on his leg and started singing. I was shocked. It sounded so good. I look at Izzy and again it was like he read my mind and nodded. I started smiling. After he finished singing I said
" Dude, do you wanna sing something with us one time?"
" Yes sure, I'm Slash by the way " Wow Slash, that's a great name
" Izzy Stradlin "
" I'm Axl, Axl Rose "
" I love your names guys"
" Your name is cool too" said Izzy
We stayed a little longer until Izzy chose a guitar. It was 220 dollars and we needed money for food too so we just took the guitar. After we payed it Slash says
" Here is my address and my number, I really wanna play something with you guys"
" We will call you" I said when I took the number from his hand. For a second we looked at each other and after that me and Izzy left
" What do you think about Slash?" I asked Izzy
" I like him and he is a great guitarist and I know your answer, the way you looked at him told me everything I needed to know"
" What do you mean with the way I look at him? I just looked and that was it"
" Yeah, yeah and I'm a police man, let's go eat something "
I thought about him all day and about what Izzy told me. In what way was I looking at him? I asked myself the whole week. After two weeks Izzy called Slash and he came at our apartment with his guitar. When I saw him again I was so shy. Izzy gave him a bottle of beer, we talked and after an hour we started singing. The chemistry between the two of us was wow. I played with Izzy before but the way this guy was touching those strings was something else. We met for a while and he finally was part of the band. We became friends, I was always with him and he was always with me. After a month we became best friends but I still couldn't tell him about my past.
Now I was staying at his grandma's house because my apartment with Izzy was horrible and we didn't had enough money to pay for it. It was night, I was reading a book and Slash was playing guitar next to me in the couch
" If we will be successful, what will you buy with your first money? " asked him
" I will buy a piano. I learned how to play when I was 7 but I stopped because..... I came here. I will always love that instrument, you ?"
" I will buy as many guitars as possible because this instrument is my life and probably a house " said him looking at his guitar
" Can you teach me how to play guitar?" I said letting my book on the couch next to me
" Yeah sure" said him putting his guitar on my legs
" Now, the most easy thing is this. With your right hand you do this. Up and down " he was using my hands and he was so warm. I started blushing
" With your left hand you do this" I tried to do as he said but my mind was in other place. He looked up at me and I just looked at him. My heart was exploding in my chest and I was trying to stay calm
I don't know when it happened but we kissed for three seconds
" Sorry, I- I need to go to the bathroom " I said
I go in the bathroom and I try to realize what just happened. I was scared and I was afraid that our friendship was broken because of a simple kiss. It's all my fault. I was sitting on the toilet lid and I was trying about what should I say to him. I was so embarrassed. I wash my face with water and I go out. Slash was still in the same position thinking about something. I pack my things in a bag because I had to leave. He looks at me
" Hey Axl, what are you doing? Where are you going ?"
" I can't stay here, I will find something, I'm sorry "
" But why? Did I said something wrong?"
" It's not you it's me" I said dressing up. He stood up and came in front of me. I froze
" It's all of this because of a kiss?"
" I-..." He raised my head with his hand. I just looked in those brown eyes and he said
" Please don't go. It was an accident I didn't want it, you didn't want it, it's okay. We can forget about it but please stay. It's night and cold outside. Let's go to sleep " he put the bags down and looked at me
" Will you stay?"
I nodded and I got in bed. In my head I was making so many scenarios for so many time but it right now it actually happened and I was scared. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. He was trying to sleep next to me. I go closer to him and he hugs me
" Please hold me in your arms "
" You sure? " said him putting his hand in my hair. I nodded
" We will not talk about this tomorrow " I said closing my eyes
" Okay sugar, good night!"
" Good night!" I said kissing his arm
