Strings in my mind (Poetry Series)

The worlds apart

I live inside my mind most times
Afraid to face the world at times
So I build a world I desire
In it, the people I admire
They help me fight the fire
To tame reality
The harmless fears
Peer pressure
And everything else
See, everyone cries
Some silently within
Others loudly without
I find myself in-between the two
In a world of indecision and pain
Chaos and frustration
So I choose to live inside my mind
Busy preparing for the world outside
