Chapter 2: home

*Karl POV*
I walked home and when I opened my door I was greeted by Patches, clays cat "Hey Karl your back early" Clay said "Yeah I had brought George to the nurses office and they sent me, George and the new kid Alex home" I said "Wait George had to go to the nurses office, Is he okay!?" Clay said worried "Clay he's fine" I said to make him calm down and he went to his phone and texted George to see if he was okay(God protective Boyfriend moment) I walked up the stairs and slumped down on my bed and started thinking about things that happened a year ago and started crying, I curled up into a ball as it all came back, I knew Alex before he came to school things happened and I couldn't stop crying and I felt my eyes get heavy then I drifted off to sleep
*Clay POV*
After I texted George, Karl had walked upstairs and slammed his door shut I walked upstairs to see if he was okay but he had locked his door I put my ear against the door and I could hear him crying...."Karl you okay?" I said through the door but heard nothing he must've fell asleep, I walked back down stairs and clocked dinner and put it on a tray and sat it in front of Karl's door so he wouldn't starve tonight as well, I even put a little note on it.
