FUN fact albedo didn't sleep at all. he couldn't get the thought of you out of his mind throughout the entire night and spent the majority of it coming to terms with this new feeling of having a crush
if anything he just wanted to see you again.
the time was currently 7:13am with the sun beginning to rise. normally, albedo would've left for school at this time along with klee but today he decided to wait for you so she ended up meeting with friends and walked to school with them instead. on the other hand, since albedo always left before you he didn't know what time you would leave your house
which is why he opted for taking a seat on the couch near the elevator until you came out instead of asking. another 15 minutes passed with him about to doze off to sleep when he heard an apartment door open. instantly springing into life he pressed the button to call the elevator, making out as if they met purely out of coincidence

after saying bye to your parents and locking your apartment door you made your way to the elevator and meeting with albedo who was also waiting for it. walking up next to him you were able to catch a whiff of his scent.

your walk with albedo was peaceful as always, which was something you needed first thing in the morning as you weren't really fond of them. and now that your mornings would be spent walking with him, it gave you something to look forward to.

halfway through your walk you encountered some fun little cats playing around with eachother up ahead. this certainly was an opportunity you couldn't pass up as doing so simply wasn't an option

without missing a beat you grabbed his hand and dragged him with you to slowly approach the 2 cats up ahead without trying to scare them away
they seemed to be stray, but were friendly and comfortable so the both of you bent down to pat them more easily. running your hand through one of their fur it seemed quite soft for being a stray, so you guessed that people in the neighbourhood looked after them to a certain extent as well.

the two of you spent a little more time petting and taking pictures of the cats. they were just too cute the both of you lost track of time, not to mention you were still holding hands with albedo
it seemed that neither of you noticed until you got up, letting the cats do their own thing

for a majority of the journey your mind was going HAYWIRE, you were struggling to process the events of this morning let alone yesterdays as well. but looking at albedos hand in yours, then trailing up to his hair flowing in the wind you began to notice things you didn't before.
