"It's Derek, it's Derek Hale" Those words rang through my head as my mouth dropped
"Derek killed the janitor?"Jackson asked
"Scotty, are you sure?" I asked not quite believing it.
"I saw him." Scott said
"The mounting lion..." Lydia began only to get interrupted
"No, Derek killed them." Scott said interrupting her
"All of them?" Alison asked
"Yeah, starting with his own sister," Scott says almost yelling
"And the bus driver?"Alison asked in an almost whisper
"And the guy in the video store. It's been Derek the whole time. He's in here with us." Scott exclaims after a moment he turns to us and says " And if we don't get out now he's going to kill us, too."
As it sinks into everyone Jackson turns to Stiles
"Call the cops." Jackson tells him
"No," Stiles says
"What do you mean"NO"?" Jackson asks in disbelief
"I mean no. You want to hear it in Spanish? NO." Stiles says making me stifle a laugh."Look Derek killed 3 people okay. We don't know what he's armed with."
"Your dad is armed with an entire sheriff's department. Call him."Jackson rebuttals
Having enough of the bickering Lydia pulls out her phone and says "I'm calling"
"No, Lydia, Would you just hold on a sec..." Stiles says trying to stop her but gets stopped by Jackson
After a short conversation, Lydia looks at us in disbelief "She hung up on me." she tells the group.
"The police hung up on you?" Alsion asked her
"She said they got a tip warning them that there gonna be prank calls about a break-in at the high school. She said if I called again they're gonna trace it and have me arrested." Lydia explains to her
"Okay. Then call again!" Alison tells her
"No, they won't trace a call." I tell them and everyone but Stiles looks at me confused while he has an impressed look on his face
"She's right they just send a car to your house before they send anyone here." Stiles says backing me up
"What the... What is this? Why does Derek want to kill us? Why is he killing anyone?" Alison said
"Guys let's just focus on getting out." I said only to be ignored
"Why is everyone looking at me?" Scott asked since everyone was looking at him
"Is he the one that sent Ella that text?" Lydia asked
"No. I mean I don't know."Scott said
"Is he the one that called the police?'I asked
"I don't know!" Scott yelled making me glare at him
Stiles came and put a hand on his shoulder "Alright why don't we ease back on the throttle here, yeah?" He then pulled Scott away and had a silent conversation. I was still glaring at Scott.
After a bit, Jackson had enough and spoke "Okay asshead. New plan. Stiles calls his useless dad..."
I cut him off "Hey! Don't talk about Papa Stilinski like that." I said and Stiles and Scott nodded in agreement but only to be ignored.
"And! he sends someone with a gun and decent aim. Are we good with that?"
"I'm not," I said at the same time Scott said"He's right"
"Tell him the truth if you have to, just call him." Scott continued
"I'm not watching my dad get eaten alive," Stiles said
"All right, Give me the phone," Jackson said trying to get Stiles's phone, only for Stiles to punch him
While Alison quickly made her way to check on him and glared at Stiles I held my hand out for a high five which he gladly returned
"That was awesome" I whispered to him and Scott
Stiles then pulled his phone out and called his dad"Dad, hey it's me. and it's your voicemail. Look I need you to call me back now. Like right now." He said before we heard a loud bang. " We're at the school, okay? We're at the school."
"Oh god, Oh, my God," Lydia said from behind Jackson as the banging got louder
"The kitchen, the door out of the kitchen leads to the stairwell," Stiles informed us
"Which only goes up," Scott said
"Up is better than here." I told him
I then grabbed his hand not noticing Alison trying to grab his other arm and we all took off towards the stairwell.
We made our way to Mr. Harrison's classroom since it was one of the only ones unlocked as Scott put a stool to keep the door closed we saw a shadow walk past the door we all held our breath and pressed against the wall. I hid my head in Scott's shoulder.
"Okay Jackson, how many people fit in your car?" Scott asked
"5 if someone sits on someone's lap." Jackson replied
"5 I bearly fit In the back," Alison said
"Hey, it's okay I brought my Jeep.' I told them
I tuned out the rest of the conversation until I heard Scott say"I'm getting the key."
"No your not." I told him "I don't care if you're a werewolf it's not safe" I whispered
"I know but someone has to get the key so we can get out of here." Scott replied
"You can't go out there unarmed." I told him
"Yeah, Scott it's not safe."Alison said
He looked around and grabbed a flimsy pointer stick and we all looked at him like he was crazy
"Well, it's better than nothing." He told us
" There's gotta be something else," Stiles said which I nodded in agreement
"There is," Lydia said looking at the chemical cabinet
"What are we gonna do? Throw acid on him?" Stiles remarked which made me chuckle quietly
"No. Like a firebomb. In there is everything you need to make a self-igniting Molotov cocktail." Lydia informed us
"Self-Igniting," Stiles said
"Molotov cocktail," Lydia said making everyone look at her "What? I read it somewhere."
Stiles sighed"We don't have a key for that either." He said looking at the cabinet
All of a sudden Jackson threw his elbow into the cabinet glass
We watched as Lydia made the cocktail and handed it to Scott Alison spoke up "No. No this is insane."
"Scotty she's right, you can't do this you can not go out there," I said starting to freak out
"Babe we can't just sit here waiting for Stiles's dad to check his messages." He told me and I sighed knowing he was right but I wasn't gonna give up
"You could die bubs, Don't you get that? He's killed three people." I told him
"And we're next." He said I just shook my head at him" Somebody has to do something."
"Scott just stop, Just please ... Please don't go, Please don't leave us. Please If all our years of friendship and these past couple of months meant anything to you, you won't leave" I said with tears in my eyes.
He looked at me regretfully and said" I'm sorry, Lock the door behind me ." I pulled him into a kiss and hugged the ever-living daylight out of him.
As he left I broke down in Stile's arm after Alison hugged Scott before he left.

I had finally calmed down when Lydia spoke up "Jackson you handed me the sulfuric acid, right? It has to be sulfuric acid. It won't ignite if it's not ."
"I gave you exactly what you asked for, didn't I?" Jackson snapped
"Yeah, I'm sure you did," Lydia said, I pulled her into a side hug and glared at Jackson
After a bit, we heard a loud howl and Jackson fell to the floor Lydia and Alison raced to his aid while me, and Stiles noticed three marks on his neck
"No, I'm fine."Jackson said shoving them off"Seriously I'm okay."
"That didn't sound okay at all," Alison said
"What's on the back of your neck?" Stiles asked trying to touch the marks only to get his hand slapped away by Jackson
"It's been there for days. He won't tell me what happened." Lydia explained
"As you actually care." Jackson snapped
"You don't have to be a jackass about everything, you know what why don't you go console Alison since you seem to care more about her than your actual girlfriend who happens to be my best friend." I snapped at him
"Oh be quiet Ella, you don't know anything, and you're one to talk."Alison
"Why don't you? Do you want to know what I think? I think you've been spending too much time over here with Jackass so much that you like him and are trying to steal him, also what do you mean I'm one to talk? I mean homewrecking is in your DNA." I sassed
"I mean that you're just as much as a bitch as you say Jackson is and you want to talk about stealing boyfriends what's going on with you and Isaac huh? Also, what do you mean homewrecking is in my DNA?" Alison said
"Cause it does ask you hoe of an aunt, and oh really?"
"Yep," She said popping the p and stepping closer to me
I laughed "Nothing happening with me and Isaac because A I love Scott more than anything and I would never hurt him like that, B me and Isaac are best friends just like me and Stiles, and C you want to talk about stealing you've been trying to take Scott since your first day here and when you're not your trying to take Jackass even though you have an amazing person named Isaac. If I knew you were gonna be like this I would have never set you guys up."
"Please stop being so self-centered if I wanted Scott I would have Scott because trust me he could do so much better," Alison told me with a smirk" Also I uh love Isaac."
"Really? Then why did you hesitate when you said you love him and also both Scott and Isaac could do better than you. And don't make me list all the times you've tried to get with Scott when Isaac wasn't around." I told her
She was about to say something but I saw something that looked like Scott's shadow walking past the door, I ran and banged on the door calling Scott's name.
After a bit, Lydia said"Stop! Stop do you hear that? Listen" All of a sudden we heard sirens and saw police lights and ran to the window
After being questioned and told them the story we came up with I was making my way to my car when I heard Scott call my name making me stop
"Ella, are you okay?" He asked once he was in front of me
"My mom wants me home," I said tearing up a little
"You need... Do you need anything from me? want me to go with you?" Scott asked me
"No! I don't." I told him a little too harshly
"Okay," He said solemnly
" I also don't know what happened to you in there. I don't know what you were thinking. Maybe you weren't, but right now I don't feel like I know or trust you."
"Ella I can explain you see the Al..." Scott said
"I don't care, Scott, in this moment I really don't." I interrupted him
"Okay, don't say anything else, please Ella just don't ." He said
"Scott I..." I started
"Ella, just stop. Please just don't say anything. Mr. Stilinski gonna give me a ride home. I need to make sure my mom isn't freaking out. I'm gonna finish setting my phone up tomorrow and ...." Scott begged
"Scott," I said only for him to talk over me
"I'm gonna set it up and I'm gonna give you a call," he said
"Don't."
"What?"
"Please don't call me, Scott I love you but after everything that happened tonight I just need to think something over, so just give me a couple of days please just don't call and give me some space," I said before turning away
"Okay, I love you," Scott said grabbing my arm
"I love you too, I'll tell you what I decided in a couple of days," I said giving him a kiss and leaving.
