Pain is something Alex became used to with the amount she took, she has almost become immune to it, but what she was feeling was a different pain. She was strapped to a table and the dread doctors pumped something Unknown into her veins. It was an unbearable pain , it was worse then anything she had every taken.
"Alex" she heard a distorted voice. She looked over and seen a dread doctor staring at her
She let out a breath "What do you want with me? You already did something remember"
"Improvement" the dread doctor gurgled
"What?" She questioned.
Alex heard the sound of wheels moving toward her, her eyes widened as she seen the young girl laying on it. Their whole plan was set in place to protect Hayden, now she's the very girl they wanted most
The dread doctor grabbed Alex's hand and placed it on Hayden's, they watched as her veins turned black and pain shot through her . The pain built up inside of her and it quickly became too much.
Her mouth opened and sobbing scream came from her, her body squirmed in efforts to be free. The pain only got worse as the seconds passed, it ran through every vein in her body.
Her body was reaching its limit - with seconds it was reached, another scream escaped her lips, her arms pulled through the leather straps.
Alex's eyes grew larger, she never knew she had such strength, seconds passed and she pulled her hand away from Hayden's.
She watched as black smoke blew from her fingers. She wanted to run, she could run she was free.. but she was weak. She had no energy.
A loud scream that came from behind the wall filled Alex's ears. Her heart racing as she recognized the painful wail.. it was Liam
"No!" She yelled. She jerked in her restrains "what the fuck are you doing to him!" She yelled. The doctors walked over, one took out a needle and pressed it against her neck silencing her instantly "please" she begged "please don't hurt..."
"You are not done yet" one spoke and before Alex could question a word, she slipped unconscious

Scott McCall would agree that he and Alex were not on good terms as of lately, but as he seen Alex was gone; he felt nothing but guilt for not hearing her out, for not trusting her instincts.
Stiles was a ball of anxiety, he didn't care about his totaled jeep or the small bump on his head; all he cared about was his girlfriend who was in the hands of the dead doctors.
Malia watched as stiles paced around Scott's kitchen anxiously. "We need to find them" he huffed
Malia confused as to why the took Alex saw the opportunity and asked "Why would they want Alex?" Malia asked
Stiles stopped in his tracks and looked at the werecoyote remembering he was the only one who knew about her memory "She's a success"
"What's do you mean?" Malia asked, her brows narrowing downward.
"She didn't explain a lot, just something about being 16 and taken-..
"She just turned 16" Theo corrected, "it was 2 weeks after her birthday, we were out past her curfew she ran ahead of me to try and hide, it was a trick she liked to play. I heard screaming seconds later and I couldn't find her. She was found the next day, no scratches no bruises. Just memory loss"
"that's her memory, that's what she forgot."
Theos brows furrowed "you mean, she was made by one of them?"
Stiles nodded "yeah, and now they are doing god knows what to her"
Scott stormed into his house, not bothering to acknowledge his three friends who were stood in his kitchen.
"Hey, is Kira okay?" Theo asked
Scott ignored his question, storming to his room for answers.
"Scott?" Theo questioned.
They followed the alpha up to his room, Corey sat on Scott's bed reading through the book to try remember his forgotten memory.
They reached his room and Scott stormed in
"Sorry, I'm only on chapter two... I'm kind of a slow reader." He apologized,
"Oh, that's okay," Lydia reassured
"He's right. We don't have time for that anyway." Scott told him. Without a hesitation, Scott McCall embedded his claws into the back of the chimeras neck.
Theo walked over to the alpha to get a glimpse of what he was doing. He never seen anyone do something like this before.
"Don't get too close." Lydia warned Theo
"What is he doing?" Theo asked, Turing back to the banshee
"Tapping into Corey's memories. It's usually something only Alphas do." Lydia explained
"Is it as dangerous as it looks?" He asked
"Probably more." Stiles warned
He wasn't impressed by Scott's move, god knows he wanted to save Alex, he would give a limb if it meant she was safe but that's not how things worked and right now Scott was jeopardizing their only chance of finding them.
"Peter did it to me once, it was awful" Isaac murmured
Malia reached down, lacing her fingers around his. She was never good at the emotional aspect of a relationship, but Isaac took his time with her and sometimes she understood when his witty responses were more that just that.
They all stood around the alpha, watching anxiously as the time ticked by. Scott's eyes moved around under his lids as he unlocked the hidden memories.
"Does anyone know if it's working?" Theo asked
On cue the alpha let out a loud gasp as he pulled his claws from Coreys neck. Mason rushed over to the boys aid.
"Is he okay?" Mason worried
Corey looked up at Scott with eyes full of fear "What the hell did you do to me?" He asked
"You'll be all right." Scott brushed him's off
"I think it worked." He told them.
He grabbed a notepad from his desk and a pen
"I saw something. There were tunnels. Pipes along the walls. There were these huge blue pipes at the entrance. Two on both sides" Scott drew. He held up the picture.
Stiles noticed the familiarity of the picture and suddenly remembered why "Wait a second I know this. I've seen this before. That's one of the tunnels I used to skateboard in. Remember my dad caught me one time and told me to never go back? It's the water treatment plant." Stiles explained
"That's where they are. That's where we'll find Liam, Hayden and Alex" Scott nodded, he took a step forward and was pushed back gently by his best friend
Stiles swiped his tongue across his bottom lip "I know why they took Alex" he confessed
"What?" Isaac asked, "why?" He followed up
"She's a success she was tested on when she was at and she was a success she just never found out till months later. They wanna do more they wanna make her better" stiles explained
Scott's eyes widened "Why didn't she tell me... Us?" He asked slightly offended he didn't know
Stiles shrugged "She tried to tell you but you are so hung up and the fact that she killed someone you kept brushing her before she could" stiles replied, anger oozed from his voice; he was mad, mad at Scott, mad that he couldn't tell his best friend what really happened with Donavan
"Are you serious?" Isaac scoffed,
Scott looked to the beta "what?" He asked
"What!" Isaac repeated, raising his voice "you Scott, everyone in this room understands why she did what she did but you, and thanks to that she might be getting Tortured by the doctors" he lectured
Scott hung his head silently, feeling guilty about the situation. Isaac was right, Alex tried to talk and he didn't try to listen. Now her life might be on the line.

"Alex. Alex wake up."
Alex eyes opened, she was met with an aching head. Looking around she was disappointed to see she was still In some lair , the only thing she felt was the pain from her new wounds. She felt as normal as she felt before...
"Where are we?" She asked
"I don't know" Liam stammered
Low giggles from the corner filled the air. The three of them turning and seeing someone sat in the corner.
He turned and looked at them "Sorry, I probably should've warned you." He apologized
"Who are you?" Liam asked
"My name's Zach. And I think the better question is... What am I?"
"What are you?" Alex asked weary of his answer
"It's okay. I'm just like you. One of the experiments." He told them.
He chirped up a little "Hey, maybe you could help me with something. The guys, in the masks... They took something off my back. I don't know what it was, but I can feel part of it still there." He explained
"You want us to look?" Hayden asked
"Is that okay?" He asked.
They all nodded and he turned around slowly, he lifted his shirt and it was wings, wings that had been cut at the stem.
"Oh lord" Alex whispered. She hadn't seen wings before, almost with Jackson but he never got that far.
Liam stood up from where he had been sitting. He walked over to the gate and shook it aggressively hoping his werewolf abilities would become useful in the moment
"We're not getting out of here." Zach shook his head
" You could be a little optimistic" Hayden glared at him unimpressed by his pessimistic mood.
"It's kinda hard when you watch three people get dragged out of here screaming." He told them. His point being more then valid.
"What happened to 'em?" Liam asked
"They were failures. That's all they said. First, you forget. You don't know who you are or what you're doing. Then you get violent. I watched two of them almost kill each other." He explained. He looked at Haydens wounds "One of them had a nasty looking cut just like that" he pointed at Hayden.
Her eyes now beginning to fill with worry at the statement, he looked up at them and quickly assured her "Don't worry. Black is okay. It's only really over when you start bleeding other stuff. When it starts turning silver..."
"Mercury" Alex finished
He nodded "That's when they know you're really a failure"
Alex scoffed "Wow. How nice of them to color code it"
"How many more failures are there supposed to be?"
"Who knows" zach shrugged "But doesn't it make you wonder what the success is going to look like? I mean, what are we turning into? Something with claws and fangs? Something with wings? Something worse."
"Do I look so bad?" Alex asked. Zach looked at her confused by what she meant. He assumed she was brought here to be poked and prodded at just like the rest. "I'm a success"
He looked at her with wide eyes of aw "what can you do? What does it feel like?" He asked "that means they are finished right?"
Alex sighed "unfortunately I was made years ago, they got bored and are trying again"
She looked at the two young teenagers who sat in fear of what was happening. Alex was used to these kind of things happening to her but she had forgotten Liam was still settling in and Hayden had no idea about any of it.
"It's okay we are gonna be okay. I'm sure Scott's working on something right now" she reassured
"You are gonna be okay we all are." She nodded
"How do you do what you do?" Hayden asked, ever since Hayden first shifted, she wondered how alex had stayed so calm outside the bathroom door.
"What you mean?" Alex asked
"How do you stay calm, how do you calm people down so easy?" She asked
Alex smiled a little "When I was 16 I was on a run and found a bird. It's wing was mangled and I picked it up and I felt my veins sting, seconds later it flew away. I could only tell one person and she didn't know anything about it so I was pretty scared. So I know what it's like to suddenly change and not have a clue what to do"
"Did you tell anyone?" Hayden asked
"Not at first, but when I moved to beacon hills I met Scott and stiles and it was the time Scott was first bitten so they were pretty much freaking out and I decided to throw my secret in there" she says, remembering when the supernatural was only wolves
"Didn't you have a sister?" Liam asked
Alex nodded "yeah but she wouldn't understood at first. Not like the way they did"
"What happened to her?" Hayden asked.
Alex looked down at the ground and thought about how to the answer the question. She hated being asked it, especially since it had come up so much lately.
"She died almost a year ago. Stiles was possessed by this evil fox spirit called the kitsune and we fought these things called the oni, one was about to stab me but she stood in front of me and took the hit. She died a few minutes after" Alex explained painfully
"I'm so sorry" Liam apologized. He had never known what happened, he Just knew there was a story to the loss "Scott doesn't talk about her much"
Alex nodded "Yeah they had something special. I swear if she didn't die they would've definitely got married and live a long life together. They had been through it all"
she felt a small smile creep onto her face "You two actually remind me a lot of them"
"What did they do to you?" Zach asked "The doctors?" He elaborated
"When I was 16 I was taken we lived somewhere else at the time and they obviously done stuff to me and it worked, now I can heal and save people" she explained the shorter version "I think whatever they done today my body healed because I feel fine and I have no wounds"
Zack felt a liquid run down his nose, he rubbed it with his fingers and seen they stained with a silver substance.
"Oh no" he panicked. He didn't want to die, especially not like this
"It's okay" Alex tried to reassure "Give me your hand" She told him, She quickly took his hand, closing her eyes, Alex felt the mercury run through her vein.
She groaned as pain shot through her body.
Liam watched cautiously, Alex's veins slowly grew darker and darker, she let out small groans as the pain took over.
Liam watched enough, he walked over and pulled her hand from the strangers arm "you are gonna hurt yourself" he warmed
The air was filled with the static noise of the dread doctors coming to collect the failed attempt
"They're coming. Oh, God! No, no, no, no" Zach panicked.
The doctors grabbed a hold of him and fear took over his sound
"No! No! Stop! Help me! Help me!" He yelled. Alex grabbed his hand but he slipped right out of her grip
"No! No! Wait! No!" Help me!" He yelled as they dragged him away
Theo ran through the tunnel and followed the sounds of zach's scream. Of course he already knew were the tunnels led to.
Alex Liam and Hayden heard the footsteps coming toward them and relief filled their bodies as they seen Theo. He walked toward the fence and was about to try and open it "Theo, wait... Don't!" Liam warned as Theo placed his hands against the electric, which resulted in him getting shocked back a few feet
Liam stood up and ran over to the fence "Theo? Theo? Theo, you all right?" Liam asked
He grunted before standing " Yeah." He nodded
"You think you can get help?" Alex asked, grinning at the boy
"I am the help" he rolled his eyes
