My POV
Everybody, please welcome the cast of Maze Runner: the Death cure! Dylan O'Brien, Thomas Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Kaya Scodelario, Y/N L/N, and Dexter Darden!
The crowd roared throughout the whole stadium as the cast walked in the stadium. All were polite enough to wave at their supporters before they took their seats. Dylan O'Brien, however, faced the audience and curtsied before sitting down, making everybody laugh at his humor.
But, of course, we shouldn't forget the very creators of this whole thing. Please give it up for Wes Ball, James Dashner, and our very own Tri Patterson!
Patterson isn't actually my real last name. I really just picked it out when Wes Ball and James Dashner found me on Wattpad when they were looking for a concept for a love interest for Newt. I completely did not understand why they gave Newt some romance, but I wasn't going to complain.
"Hey, guys!" The host of this press conference greeted after the three of us sat on the chairs that had our names on it. Mine being placed between Thomas and Y/N. How cheeky.
"How you guys doing? I mean, you've reached the end to the trilogy!" The host, who goes by the name, Daniel, exclaimed. I don't really know how should I follow the vibe-y tone of his voice. "How does that feel for you?" I think I should stay quiet and let them answer.
"Well, I, uh, I feel proud," Ki Hong Lee was the first one to answer the host's question, "considering all of our hard work throughout those 4 or 5 years paid off. But, even so, I will miss all the fun we had while filming this series."
Third Person POV
Everyone grew silent as they looked at Ki Hong intriguingly like they were looking if he was going to add something more to his answer. "Okay, that's great! That's great. What about you guys?" Daniel snapped the cast out of their trance.
"Uh, yeah, what he said." The audience as well as Dylan's friends laughed at his remark. "He pretty much summed it all up." Thomas followed as he propped his jacket with a grin.
Afterwards, the host switched his attention to the James Dashner's co-writer, Tri when their laughs were dying down. "Oh, right, Tri. This is your first time attending a convention. How's it going over there?" He asked as he tried to work on a segue from this small talk to the fans asking their own questions.
The writer brought the mic up to her lips as Y/N and Thomas along with the rest of them looked at her sideways. "It's been pretty good." She answered, grinning. "This is my first convention interview so I am nervous that I might answer a question stupidly while I'm right beside my idols that I've been fangirling and shipping on my whole life, but, you know," She continued to grin, though it had a little more sarcasm to it, "it's no big deal." She followed with a genuine, nervous chuckle.
It was evident that the amateur writer's sense of humour is based off her social awkwardness once the majority of them laughed due to the fact that they would act the same as her. "Big-ass mood here, everybody!" Y/N even stated it herself, giving the author beside her a side hug.
Before they could sidetrack from the conversation, Daniel kept the show on the road and continued on with their interview. "All right, let's not procrastinate with small talk--"
"Yes, I agree!" Tri shouted without her microphone, making the host pause to chuckle at her remark, "-- and start answering your supporters' questions!"
And so, the audience started raising their hands to be able to have the answers to their questions.

The cast and creators had multiple ways of choosing someone to ask the next question; one of them having to spin Dylan, who had his eyes closed and one of his arms up with his pointer finger up as well.
They've already answered a lot of questions, but they weren't driving into boredom at all. Most questions were very interesting on their part that they didn't care if they'd already answered a lot.
Of course, the inquiry if they shipped Newtmas was included all the time. But the curious fan only wanted Tri Patterson to answer. "I'm more of a Minewt shipper rather than a Newtmas one, actually." She replied, truthfully.
"But to me, I agree with the sexship of Newtmas." Dylan remarked, letting Thomas go along with his humor very well. "But if we're talking about romance, it's should be S/N (shipname with Newt) that we're talking about."
His declaration made fangirls and fanboys cheer after finding out that Dylan O'Brien himself ships Newt and C/N (Thomas and Y/N to be precise) together. Not to mention, the silence Thomas and Y/N gave was priceless as Tri spotted the flustered smiles plastered on their faces.
Soon enough, they only had to answer a couple more before their allotted time ends. "Okay, last two questions! Let's pick one from the back." Daniel hosted as the cast nodded in agreement.
Only one thing caught Y/N's eye when they were looking for the second to the last person to ask a question. The person's sign wasn't entirely easy to ignore at this point. "What about you, my dude?" She pointed out.
The person was struck with their fanatic personality that they needed to confirm if they were the one Y/N picked. "Me?" They mouthed with their lips agape.
"Yeah, you! With the big artistic 'I ❤️ TMR' sign." She replied.
The person started internally freaking out as the bodyguard handed then the mic. "First of all, I loved you since the first time I saw you in the Scorch Trials. You were so badass!" They commented with the feeling of gid rushing through their cheeks.
"Thank you!" Y/N exclaimed in awe, "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for this fanatic matchmaker over here." She proudly pointed at the girl beside her, who was grinning the whole time the questioner was picked. Tri found herself liking the person's energy they were giving.
"Which leads me to my question for Miss Tri Patterson." The fan was so nervous that they couldn't help but call the author by her whole nom de plume.
Tri gestured for them to continue, "ask away!"
"What was your first reaction when Mister James Dashner and Wes Ball invited you to do a collaboration with them?"
Tri cannot help but grin as she remembers the first time they reached out to her. "I had massive trust issues back then." She pointed out, "so when I saw Wes Ball's name through my e-mail as I sat in front of my computer screen, I opened it to find out that they were asking me to collab with them. After I read that, I said to myself:" She re-enacted the way she leaned back on her chair that time, "'Yeah, this shit's fake!'"
Everyone in the room cackled and laughed at he short story time as Tri continued through the hyena noises people were making, "'This is too good to be true.' I couldn't stress that enough. It was really hard to believe that they went through Wattpad and looked for ideas for Newt's love interest." Finally, she finished her story off without a single smooth segue, "But yeah, the second reaction was pretty much like the Scream painting when I realized it was legitimately Wes Ball himself."
Afterwards, they moved on to choosing one last question. Although it was fun getting to answer some questions in which their fans liked knowing something about them, it had been a pretty exhausting day. It was a relief that they were about to end the interview after one more fun inquiry.
"This question is for both Thomas and Y/N." Another fan addressed. The two of them nodded with a gentle smile, letting the fanboy continue. "What did it feel like, for the both of you, when working on the film with your characters having a romantic bond? Was it awkward or nerve-wracking...?" Asked him. When he did, the atmosphere somehow changed; all of them seemed to pay more attention.
The two actors didn't really know what to say at that point. They wanted to answer, but nothing was coming out of their mouths. And, that's because, they remembered an incident that they thought they'd long forgotten.
(During the filming)
"Okay, guys," director Wes started having a conversation with Y/N and Thomas as make-up artists get them ready for their kissing scene, "this is your biggest scene for your characters' relationship. Like always, do your best and make this ending between C/N and Newt romantic and right in the feels, all right?"
Both of them nodded off their assignment. They nodded it off as if it wasn't such a nerve-wracking scene.
"Yes, sir."
"Yeah."
Although, deep down, their stomachs were churning of angst. They were overthinking about their very last kiss for the final movie a lot, considering that the two of them developed feelings for one another.
Of course, neither of them were aware of that. Or so they thought, until this scene came in.

C/N woke up to the sound of ocean waves only to realize that she wasn't in the city anymore.
C/N looks at her outfit, wondering how is she wearing a fresh set of clothes.
Newt slumped back by the doorframe, no longer having any curdling veins in his entire body with his eyes back to normal.
Newt: You really think I would let some stranger take off your clothes and put some buggin' new ones on you?
C/N's head shot up when she heard his voice, shocked as she turned to him with tears of joy in her eyes.
C/N under her breath: You're alive.
C/N (louder): The cure worked. I can't believe it worked!
C/N immediately got on her feet and launched herself into Newt's embrace.
Newt chuckled softly as he swung C/N freely.
Newt: I'm cured, because of you.
Both pulled away with a centimeter long distance .
Newt: Thank you, love. I'll always love you.
C/N, cupping his cheeks: I love you, too.
With that, C/N pulled him into a heart-warming, passionate kiss as Newt set her feet back down on the ground.

"And... cut!" Wes had given the two of them the cue that they can pull away from their kiss now. However, it didn't seem to work.
In fact, they didn't seem to plan on pulling away.
Thomas and Y/N got so into it that they pulled each other closer. The only thing that they can hear were their hearts' beating as fast as their desire for one another. Y/N could've sworn her physical hearing became blurry.
Dylan O'Brien himself witnessed this endeavor. And he could not help but quietly slap his palm on his mouth out of shock. When they pulled away, they were still dazed from their fervent kiss.
They knew to themselves that they meant to say their last lines, regardless of it being a written line on a script. Though, they cannot just ignore the fact that they could be rushing things off.
It took a moment for them to realize that Wes was still recording them with a grin that gives a thought, they're made for each other. They only found out about it when he shouted,
"End scene!"
(Back to the convention)
Thomas was snapped out of his trance when he heard Dexter whistling, "Ooh, I see someone blushin'!" He exclaimed through the mic as he looked at him, making the audience squeal and shout in excitement.
Y/N unconsciously grinned without giving herself a chance to suppress it before answering their supporter's question. "Well, to me, I felt like I made things awkward, because I am a socially awkward person who cannot keep up a conversation." She nervously laughed, "But, Thomas, being the cool one, in my perspective, was able to do that. It was fun working with him!"
She turned to him with heart-eyes as he returned them before finishing her response off. "And, not gonna lie, I'm gonna miss doing crazy fun things with him as we do our jobs."
After her, Thomas made his own reply. "Even if I only met her in the second movie," Thomas began, "Working with Y/N was one of the best experiences I've had my entire life." He stated truthfully as he also looked at her with loving eyes, "And like what Newt said, 'if I could do it again, I would. And I wouldn't change a thing.'"
Their eye contact lasted longer than they expected. In the heat of the moment, Tri couldn't help but decide to be Cupid. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but do you guys want me to just--?" She started scooting back away from them so they can just sit beside each other instead.
Of course, they denied Tri's offer.

My POV
As soon as the convention ended, that was the last interview for me this week. And so, I decided to take a walk around the streets of the city I'm in before I get back to the hotel.
I wasn't really as famous as the actors who portrayed the characters in the book. And, I've been trying to limit myself from showing my face to everyone my whole life. So I wasn't swarmed with fans that much.
Sure, there were a few autographs and pictures, but that was just inside the con. Outside of building, I was anything but a popular amateur writer.
Just as I did get out of the building, I spotted Thomas and Y/N bidding their goodbyes to one another. I know they were bidding their goodbyes because Y/N told me she was planning to book a flight back to her home already.
Not to eavesdrop, but I can overhear their conversation. As well as read their lips.
"I hope you have a safe flight tomorrow." I heard Thomas say to her.
I saw Y/N smile at him. "Thank you."
They pulled into a so-called 'friendly' hug, and whispered "I'll miss you" into each other's ears. I cannot help but scoff. Like that didn't sound so romantic.
At this point, I wasn't able to help myself. I couldn't stop myself from cutting unto their conversation, considering I'm their number one shipper. "Just go on a date together already!" I shouted from afar. My voice was clear enough for them to hear me. "No one's stopping ya! Just go for it and see what happens!"
Third Person POV
The two of them couldn't help but laugh. Because it was true. There isn't anyone holding them back . Why were they trying to hide their obvious feelings to one another?
"Well, for the sake of a proper invitation," Thomas remarkered, "would you like to stay for a while and go on a date with me?"
Y/N giggled at his offer as she took his hands in hers. "I would love to."
Finally. Tri thought to herself, before she left in a sigh of relief that her power couple already made their first move.
