Drowning in the red sea;
Scream at the demons to let me be.
Searching for a version of salvation-
Swimming for life; in all desperation.
The current is strong- pulling me down.
Silence and darkness- as I try to find sound.
Breathless and broken; my faded heart screams.
Pulls me apart; leaves me dead at the seams.
I still feel the pain; I still strain for air.
This torment of solitude is more than I can bear.
