"Nick, Wake up!" I felt a sharp pain to my face. I jumped up swinging my head wildly from side to side and I tried to take in my surroundings
The Miller family was hovering around me, and they were looking down at me with concern thick in their eyes. I was lying on Mike's bed still disoriented about what happened. That's when Ralph jumped on me and began licking my face
I screamed loudly as I saw the supposed died dog. I began remembering what happened. I saw the shark outside and Ralph's blood was pooled around it. I hate sharks so much. They are my least favorite animal in the world, and they should be hunted into extinction
"Ralph! You're alive!" I quickly embraced the dog
"Do you remember what happened?"
"There was a shark outside and it killed Ralph" tears were threatening to come out of my eyes, but I kept them at bay
"There was no shark. It was just an illusion the rain made because the temperatures out there are nearing below zero" Mr. Miller explain "The human body tends to shut down at the temperature instantly to preserve blood flow to the heart and brain. It's a natural instinct for humans to maintain their life as long as possible in cold temperatures" [All of this is most likely not true. Look it up on Google or something :]
"In short, you fainted because it was cold and thought you saw Ralph die" Mrs. Miller said
"I feel so dumb for over reacting. How long was I out for?"
"Just a day"
"A day?!"
"It takes a long time to recover from such a loss of body heat"
"Mike literally cuddled you back to health. The only times he left the bed was to use the bathroom or to eat. It would have took much longer for you to heal if he hadn't, even though there were probably better methods" I turned to look at Mike who's face was really red right now
"I'm just glad we rescued Ralph in time"
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Ralph was in the basement the whole time sleeping"
"So I almost died for nothing? That's nice to know" I grumbled
"We did make breakfast because we knew you would be too tired to cook anything"
"What did you guys make me?" I've never seen Dawn or Mike in the kitchen before to do anything but eat. I'm scared to see what mess they made for the sake of my happiness
"Toast with orange juice" they said proudly "There was cereal too but Mike added milk so it's extremely soggy"
"I thought he would wake up sooner" Mike whined
"It's the thought that counts" I laughed at and began eating the food. It wasn't much but the fact that it was made by my two favorite people is what made it taste good. I thanked them for the food and everyone but Mike left the room so I could get some more rest
"Do you feel better?"
"Much better. Especially since we're all alone with no one to bother us"
"Do you want to..." Mike's face became heated and he turned his face away from me in attempt to stop me from noticing
"Yes Mike" I pulled him into a kiss "But not right now"
"Why?"
"Because all I want to do is cuddle with you" I pulled myself into Mike's chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist

"Wake up! Dinner's ready!" Dawn peeked his head through the door and announced to us
I got excited at the mention of food but Mike wouldn't release me. I hate how he is stronger than me
"Five more minutes" Mike sleepily mumbled
"I'm hungry!" I thrashed around but Mike only held me tighter
"I'll give you a blow job later if you let go of me" his arms instantly opened and I was free "You're such a horn dog. I was just teasing you"
"You're mean sometimes" Mike pouted and I pulled him out of bed
"If you're lucky I might make good on that promise" I winked at him and ran out the room and down the stairs. It's fun sexually frustrating him

"I miss how innocent you used to be, but I guess I can put it off my homework until tomorrow as long as you're good at it"
"Good at what?"
"Do you know how to knock?" I shook my head at Dawn in a chiding manner
"I saw what you two were doing underneath the table"
"I don't know what you're talking about" I quickly denied
"Your hand was on Mike's thigh and you were almost touching his you know"
"You must have been seeing things"
"I'm very sure of what I saw. I'm fine with you two being gay and all but don't do that stuff when I'm eating in the same room as you" Dawn left it at that and left the room as well
"That was... interesting though my argument would have been more convincing if you weren't hiding your head under the blanket" I flicked Mike's nose
"I'm sorry. I wasn't ready for a 'talk' yet"
"It was more of a notification than a 'talk'. I trust that Dawn won't tell your parents about us but I'll talk to him about it at some point to get everything straightened out"
"So... About the blow of jobs?"
"No Mikey" I kissed him again because I just have to when he gets too cute. I like being in a relationship with him even though my mind strays off at times to check out Dawn's butt. If you saw it, you wouldn't be able to blame me
"Fine. I'm going downstairs to turn on the TV and stare at the static in hope that it will turn into Pokémon" Even though the electricity is back the internet and TV are not working because of the rain messing up the signal. If it wasn't for this family being so unusually entertaining, I would go insane for being off the grid for so long
"You go have fun with that. I'm actually going to get my homework done"
Mike walked out of the room and I couldn't help but to notice how cute his butt looked. I never really noticed till now which is unsettling for such a horny person like myself
I brought my homework to the bed and began working on it. Just my luck, It's math and a report about global warming. I really don't care about either nor find them necessary in life, but I still worked on them
After a lot of procrastination and breaks I managed to fall asleep in the middle of writing my report. Mike, like the amazing boyfriend he is, moved my stuff to the side and comforted me in my time of pain. Homework can be a very dangerous to my mental health so I make sure to stay clear of it unless necessary
I woke up in the middle of the night around 2am and realized what happened. I ended up stareing at Mike sleeping for about fifteen minutes. When I deemed what I was doing as incredibly creepy I thought it best to go back to sleep
I swear I heard Mike mumble my name in his sleep. Three other words escaped his mouth that we are far from being ready to use
