On our way outside this damn boat

"I have terrible news, the jersey is okay... Your weight is the troublesome part" He joked with his apathetic face

The other's nearby chuckled
"On the other hand, Harukasan hid her huge tracks of land with that jersey almost perfectly" I tried to redirect the joke
That was a mistake...
"Rechi" She said my nickname with a straight face
Her face rivals Kiyotaka's
That's not the point!
"Rei-chan, run!!!" Kazuki shouted
I instantly disappeared from her sight like a cartoon character
Without knowing, I reached the organizers or should I say our favorite teachers
"Chie-chan, help!" I screamed desperately
I gained their attention
"What's wrong?" She asked with a perplexed expression
"I want another jersey!" I said annoyed with this whole situation
"It's not possible, Rei-chan"
I dropped the act
"So that's how it is, after we heard the words 'significant scenery' of this not so suspicious announcement we knew immediately that something was up. Scrap this, Chiaki-chan suspected this entire trip from the very beginning" I gave some of our information to scare the other teachers
Chie-chan smirked
The other teachers were lost
"Chabashira, I couldn't believe my ears when you called this student with all those names. Furthermore, it was impossible for me to believe that she was the sole reason for their promotion until now" Mashima-sensei reacted with disbelief
Chie-chan hugged me

Ryūen arrived just in time to hear my mocking
"kukuku I'm going to crush you, witch" He said with a smirk
"Too bad, I'm not going to participate" I said uninterested
"I almost believed that" He ignored my words and joined his class
It looks like Ryūen prepared his class from their reactions
The other classes started to look more unorganized after Kei's reveal
Kiryūin knew this, because this exam was similar for her last year. She left the others in the dark on purpose
"Chie-chan~ The jersey is perfect on your body" Ichika complemented her
Many others agreed
"Thank you~ Thank you~" She thanked us a little embarrassed
"My favorite students~ Your classmates were unfortunate for you correct. That's why, it's necessary for us to do a roll call to our classes"
After nearly a century the roll call went smoothly
Mashima-sensei shortly after, took the main spot and started to give more despair to the students
"First, I would like to say that I'm happy you've arrived safely. However, it's unfortunate that one of you was unable to participate due to illness"

"Well then. We shall commence the current academic year's first special test"
I started laughing
Kazuki, Chiaki and Ichika also joined me

I removed my phone and started taking photos on Katsuragi's class

"The test commences now and lasts for one week, concluding on August 7th at the year's end. This test will determine if you can live on a deserted island together as a group. Haruka widened her eyes in shock after Kazuki's scenario was 100% true

"Another monster ha? Defective class my ass" Ryūen reacted annoyed
"Who knows, maybe I'm hiding a lot of monsters" I gave him a teaser for the future
His smirk doubled
"I'm counting on it!"

The other classes were getting more shocked with every new development
It was too loud for Mashima-sensei to continue and he waited patiently for silence
I went over to Kōenji
"My Isekai senses tell me that you're planning to retire" I whispered to him
"fufu that's the plan" He said with a smirk
"I don't blame you, this entire situation is a boring mess" I said with a bored look on my face
"You seem to trust Horikita-girl this time around" He shared his observation
"She got a little memory check" I said while pushing my head with a finger
"So that's how it is" He said while laughing
"Your last memory will be very interesting for you" I prepared him with a smirk
"fufu I expect nothing less from me" Kōenji said the most Kōenji thing ever
"I'm planning to do something similar with this exam. On the other hand, the next exam for this school will be a clown fiesta" I whispered that with a sadistic smile
"fufu I'm looking forward to it, Delinquent-girl" He said while brushing his hair
"I'm going back, enjoy your vacation"
I went back to my last spot
"Horikita, I tried my best but Kōenji will stay as Kōenji for this exam" I lied trying not to laugh
She sighed
"It's unavoidable then"
Some students from Class C had obvious questions
I'm surprised that class D had no questions. He controls his class way better than normal
"Living on a deserted island. Does that mean we're not staying on the boat, but the island?" A random student from Class C asked
That's an idiotic question
"You are correct. During the test, you will not be allowed to board the ship without a suitably justifiable reason. It will be necessary for you to fend for yourselves on this island while you are here, from creating a place to sleep to preparing food to eat. Once the test starts, each class will receive two tents, and two flashlights. You will be provided with one box of matches. There is no limit to the amount of sunscreen you can have. "I agree. What's this, survival on easy mode?" I followed
"But Rei-san, this is insane for normal people like us. I have camping experience and two tents are not enough for forty people. Feeding forty people for seven days is nearly impossible" Ike spoke for the first time

Kazuki suffered a lot inside those survival training programs
I personally went to some of them but I've never finished them. The scars and bites are still on me as marks
Mashima turned his sight on Ike
"You may say this is unbelievable or impossible, but that's because you've lived a short, superficial life. There is an actual, prominent company that holds training sessions on uninhabited islands"
Mashima-sensei... This statement is exaggerated as fuck
Ike nodded
"We want a totally normal salaryman. It's an obvious requirement to have experience of survival on an island in the middle of nowhere. You need at least four years of experience for us to hire you" Kazuki made fun of this entire situation with a silly American accent
Every class laughed at her insane acting skills
"B-But, I survived only three and a half years" I joined Kazuki with a silly French accent
"We are sorry then, the other lad that came yesterday survived fifteen whole years alone. You are clearly unmatched and it's mathematical impossible for us to accept you here" She continued
"I have another achievement, I crossed the Sahara desert with my own two legs"
"That's a requirement only for a courier job. Get the fuck out of here" She finished our little act
We heard a lot of applauds after our little performance
Mashima-sensei turned to Chabashira with an awkward smile and she had an expression that said 'you'll get used to it'
He gave up on his convincing game. We have a counterattack for everything
Some students had doubts
"Please do not worry. It would make sense for you to have complaints if you were being forced into a harsh situation. However, even though we're calling it a special test, there's no need to think about it in such unhappy terms. In the coming week, you can go swimming, or hold a barbecue. It wouldn't be a bad time for you to occasionally have a campfire and chat with friends, either. The theme of this special exam is 'freedom', after all."
For the majority his explanation raised more questions than answers
"Huh? Huh? The theme is freedom? We can have a barbecue? Hmm? And this is still called a test? I'm so confused..."
The students are worried and confused at the same time
"As a major part of this special test, we've decided to distribute 300 points to each class. By using your points well, you might be able to enjoy this week's special test just as you would a normal trip. We've also prepared a manual just for that purpose"
After Kazuki heard the word 'points', her excitement died completely. She experienced the real thing with a lot of pain and her disappointment is justified
He started to give his extra explanation
"This manual lists all of the ways you can obtain points. It also explains where to get drinking water and food, as well as essential necessities. If you wanted to have a barbecue, it explains how to prepare the equipment and ingredients. We also have numerous tools for you to be able to enjoy playing in the ocean to the fullest"
"So, we can do whatever we want with the 300 points?" A random student from Ecchinose's Class asked
"That's right. It's possible to arrange for anything using your points. Of course, it's necessary for you to use them in a systematic way, but with a solid plan, you can spend your week without any difficulties"
Kazuki raised her hand
"Sensei, my condition makes this nearly impossible for me to participate to this exciting adventure. I have a suitable justification to dodge this"

She used her narcolepsy for a possible escape window
"You are right. There is a special rule for you and that absent Class B student. Normally, there is a point reduction for every dropout but people with special conditions can retire without a point punishment"
She smirked
"Look at that, Rei-chan. I saved myself" She mocked me with her imperial privilege
I clicked my tongue
"When this special test period is over, each class’ remaining points will be added to their total class points. Your point totals will reflect this change once summer vacation is over" He gave us the finishing blow
The classes suddenly became dead silent after his holy words
"This freedom of choice thingy started to make more sense. It's a combination of the point usage and our approach towards this special exam in general" Anya shared her thoughts
"Eh? Ichinose's class is not that retarded after all" Ryūen shared his excitement after the latest development
"That's quite bold of you to call my classmates retarded" Kiryūin defended her new class with a smirk
"If it isn't our former senpai. The only bold move was your idiotic choice for a grade demotion. It doesn't matter, I'll crush you too!" He mocked her proudly with a smirk
Ichinose was out of place during their little banter
"My expectations weren't in vain, after all. Show me what you got!" She answered in a similar manner
Katsuragi stayed silent too
"Class B is hiding a gem too. If we crush Japanese Dwayne Johnson, she will make an appearance"
A lot of students chuckled after my joke
"You falsely underestimate my leadership" Katsuragi answered
"You failed to protect your class and defective-kun over there reduced your points with that... brain of his. If that's your definition of successful leadership then... I have no words" I said stating the obvious
"The bitch is right. With that moronic pace you will reach Class D in no time, Johnny" Ryūen made fun of him
"You were lucky, that's all" He stubbornly remained the same
After his statement we gave him a good laugh
"That's enough" Mashima-sensei rudely interrupted our banter
He continued
"Each class will receive one copy of the manual. If the manual is lost, you may have another copy. However, it will consume points, so please be very careful. That's all"
Before we leave
"See you later, future Class D" I mocked Katsuragi's class one last time
"kukuku future Class D is an understatement" Ryūen mocked them too
"See you at the bottom" Kiryūin gave the finishing blow with a laugh
Katsuragi was speechless
Kiryūin was a blessing for Ichinose's class. Our class banter became more interesting
