I woke up early in the morning and found my darling snoring softly, she was all draped on top of me, yesterday sleeping with her was like sleeping with a tornado she was so restless which made my wolf xavier restless. It was about 3am when either of us got any sleep. I gently detangled myself from her arms and laid her down. Something was definitely on her mind and xavier wanted to know what and hence he took control.
I walked into the kitchen and began making French toast and black coffee and i had just plated it when I heard shuffling upstairs, knowing she was awake I quickly went up. Walking through the doorn I saw her stretching on the bed, my mate, my cutiepie. She looked up at me and I smiled
"Good morning love, took the liberty to prepare French toast and black coffee for us to have... Breakfast in the bed? " I said
"Gimme my coffee" She said stretching her delicate arm to grab the coffee
"I'm wounded I thought that the love of my life would love me more than coffee" I said, i mean any one would feel bad, coffee over mate... Not good.
"Coffee over mates any day" She murmerred as she grabbed her mug and took a sip and moaned. I sat down in front of her and stared at her as she just did not gobbled an entire French toast in less than 10 seconds!
"You sure were hungry" I said
"Well I am sure you're hungry as well... So I suggest you to eat.... Although I won't be offering, you have to grab your own toast" She said and took a huge bite from the toast she was holding . I shook my head laughing internally as I grabbed my own toast before she ate them too. I am also hungry!
"Hunter what's the name of your wolf... I mean I have been calling him wolfie... Is that his name? " She asked. I cringed at the nickname wolfie, but xavier had no problem ,but wolfie, can't she call me babe, love, hunny, I also have her nicknames which suited her, be creative girl but not so weirdly creative!
"Wolfie is not the name of my wolf, his name is Xavier" I said, better start calling him xavier
"Oh.how do you and xavier work... I mean how does the wolf and human thing work... Uh do you understand the question.. I can't frame it" She said frustrated
"Haha, yes love I understood the question, we just coexist with each other, xavier was the first to realize you were his mate and since you are his mate, you're mine as well" I said.
"So basically for me it's gonna be like having two different boyfriends" She said
"Xavier and I are very similar" I said
"Uh I beg to differ alpha, wolfie you see is a bit more cuter" Shesaid
Technically me and xavier were one but the two of us also had a competition of who she loves more, isn't it obvious she loves Hunter more
"Is it so... I am not sure you will be saying so when he meet Casper" I said and as on cue casper walked in and settle between us
"Good.morning casper.... Had a good night sleep" She said. Jealousy made its way. Never in the world did I think xavier would be jealous of a cat but today the day arrived because of Casper.

"Good morning Xavier. This is casper" She said petting me . I walked up to her and sunk my head on her right lap while that annoying cat casper curled in her left. Both of us kept licking her in a hope to gain more attention from her.
"Oh wolfie jealous are we" She asked and I growled calling me wolfie was alright but i am not jealous, i just demanded attention
"Don't worry your my favourite wolf" She said and I licked her, trying to convey her my love, I love her so deserve much. She was perfect from every angle. She was a wolf hunter but now she is luna and she is trying her damn hardest to be one. Last night clearly she was thinking of something but what...i needed to know....she was tensed and I had to do something. Stupid Hunter couldn't even make sure that our mate wasn't tense, thank god he has me. Casper meowed loudly and I felt the warmth of her hand move to her, fuck the cat
"And your my favourite cat" She said. Should I ask moon goddess to turn me a into cat as well so that we could kick the cat out? The cat stinked... Not my fault.
"Okay now... You and Xavier become friends while I freshen up" She said no darling don't leave me alone with this cat...... Please.
She was just about to close the door when she noticed me and casper sitting outside
"No... You two are not invites to join me... Both of you bond with each other and don't fight "she said and we whinned. I mean joining her in the tub won't be a bad idea, after all right now I am a wolf, technically an animal and animal lovers do take their pets in the bathroom as well, don't they?
I sat down glaring at the cat that sat across me. She looked up at me with big blue eyes and then walked over to me. I growled and she purred and then she sat on top of me. Grrrrr. Offf me you dumb kitty. The cat refused and began to lick me. This is a nightmare. After a while injustice gave up fighting and allowed the kitty to do what it wanted. I can't kill her else hunny bunny would get upset so I just flooped onto my belly accepting my fate. A while after the cat curled up next to me, great... Add this to my list of don't you dare ever come back again and expect me to let you live
Half an hour later hunny bunny walked out and saw us curled up next to each other, I quickly shook the cat of me and trotted over to her. I heard her thoughts, she was willing to talk to me but was wondering how she would understand me. .
"Hey we can mind link..." I said
"Was that you wolfie? " Can't she call me xavier or love, wolfie i didnt mind but it was cringy. What if lucus or any other wolf heard this, I'll never heard the end of the teasing.
"Yes my love, it was your wolfie who spoke to you" I said
"How did you do that.... I am human" She asked
"Darling, it was the mate bond. Once a wolf finds their mate and they complete their mating process, the wolf and their mate can mindlink each other"I explained
" How do I mind link you? "She asked
" Easy love, just think of me while you let your thoughts flow through your head"I answered
"I love you xavier just as much as I love Hunter" She said. Okay in your face Hunter, she loves me as well
"I love you too darling, though I am jealous that Hunter has to share the love as well but I guess we do come exist.if he doesn't treat you right tell me, I'll knock some sense into him" I said and she laughed, Hunter was right our mate had a melodious laugh, something I could hear all day, even if it meant me be coming a domesticated dog.
"That won't be necessary, wolfie, Hunter takes great care of me" She said good, else I would kill him.
"What if I were a wolf... How would this stuff work" She asked
"Well if you were a wolf then your wolf and I would have been close while you and hunter would have been close, meaning each of us would be with one lover but a guardian angel as an advantage because if anything happens to either of you then both of us suffer" I said
"So basically me not being a wolf has denied you of a proper mate" She said sadly. Oh dear, mate sad, sappy wolf coming right up
I trotted over to her and crouched so I was at eye level with her .
"Nope, it just means that you get showered with a lot of love and we get showered with a lot of human love and care sweetheart..... You're our mate... And we don't mind.... Anyways this makes is even more unique since it's only once in a blue moon that a wolf gets a human mate... Which means I am one lucky wolf... Or is it wolfie you call me... No offence I love that name.... But I do hope you know my name is Xavier" I said and she smiled, a million dollar smile, a smile which lit my whole worldm
"Finally a smile from the queen of my heart" I said licking her. She giggled while letting her hands slip into my fur mhmmm. Is this why dogs and cats love getting petted?
"You have magic hands love, please do not stop" I said, on the verge of begging for more, control xavier, if you ever mate with her, you need her to be strong, your rough with her while hunter is gentle, let her her used to u.
"Are you also possessive of your mate.. I have read in a book somewhere that male wolves are hell possesive of their mates" She said still From the corner of my eyes I saw the cat move out,,tske that kitty .......she is mine.
"I am. But I swear I will try to keep it in control... I'll give you freedom as well.... I'll try not to get jealous that you and Ethan have become good friends... rather best friends" I said, I mean she was rather close to ethan can you blame me, Hunter tried to explain that they were just friends but she is mine!
"I know. What is Ethan's wolf name? " She asked. I felt like growling Ethan always gets a place in discussions doesn't he...
"Lucus... You met him before" I said
"When I don't remember" She said suddenly stopping her hands in my fur and detangling it from them
"Don't stop massaging my fur love please" I said and sighed when the warmth of her palms came back
"Love, you met lucus in the forest that day, the first time when you decided that you weren't going to kill the wolf in front of you, the injured golden wolf you protected" I said. lucus had mindlinked me that day and had told me about his crazy encouter with the Hunter, not to mention he brought back a cloth which she had tied to his leg. Since that day I have been looking for her and finally Hunter found her.
I heard her thoughts she was confused as to why she didn't attack him that day, I knew, it's because we are family.
"Honey, it was because you felt the aura of family with him, way before you even met me, you could sense which wolves were family and which weren't, so everytime you came near one of the packs wolves, you couldn't bring yourself to kill them, you may have killed a few of them but inky the ones who were betraying the pack" I said
"But that doesn't change the fact that I killed wolves and I was a wolf hunter, someone you had to fear, your pack has every right to fear me, I lost their trust way before I became luna and now I regret that, now, yours and Hunter's alpha position is in danger, because of me, your mate. Even when I was giving you all a chance, I ruined it by stealing the silver dagger and hiding it. Now you will be paying the price, even though you have no fault in this. Why don't you just kill me and let your alpha position be safe.... Your pack will stay United and it will be easier" She said tearing up. God my mate was a crybaby. Are you sure she killed wolves by stabbing them? Sappy caring wolf activate.
"It's not your fault love, it was those rogues fault who turned you so cold hearted. Even in you weakest moments when you saw your family die that day, you remained strong, you avenged their deaths. If anyone is to be blamed it is fate and as for that I don't blame it after fate brought me to you. I may be alpha but I am more in love with you, I'll leave the alpha position in a heartbeat if it means I have you for eternity. Killing you would be killing me, and I don't want that, darling I know your scared about tomorrow but remember I'll be their with you at each step of life including tomorrow, when you will give the speech to try and get the pack on your side... Which I know you will, I'll stay next to you, your not alone. I their ethan, hunter, rosyln, lucus, nathan and his mate, we all are their for you. Hell even half of the pack is on your side sweetheart. The other half is sceptical but once they find out that you're not killing us and actually have accepted us then they will be beyond happy. Even they know that having a human mate is a miracle because only lucky and blessed packs have a human as their luna" I said curling my body around here, trying to hug her. I never hugged a human in wolf form, leave alone human form....
All I knew was that this crybaby is my mate, someone I loved a lot and I would protect her by hook or crook. It doesn't matter if I am alpha or not, I will make sure she is happy, her life is my first priority.
