"Yes she does", A familiar voice said behind me.
I turned around very slowly. I knew who it was, my heart was beating out of my chest, and inside I was terrified. Fuck it what were they gonna do.
I turned around to see Stone stood at the counter, he looked a hell of alot older, with a faint beard, and strong muscles, he was around 6,3 now, compared to my 5,5 height, I looked tiny. I looked behind him to see Ravy, Rome, Millian and Lucian.
They also looked older, more filled out, all with faint beards, looking like they just came from a modelling agency or something. They were all staring at me like they had just seen a ghost. Probably my mother. I turned back to Stone who was stood at the front, obviously bored from this chat.
"Actually I do. I'm working", I said with no emotion at all. They didn't deserve it. They don't get to know how I have felt through the years without them, I'm happy here.
"Nope, your coming out to diner away from this dump with your brothers and father", He said whilst looking around in discust. I rolled my eyes at him which he looked pretty shocked at.
"Look Stone, Im not that 6 year old you can just boss around and fuck over anymore, I can take care of myself, Ive been doing that for my whole life so far, so why not the rest, so either order something or get the fuck out", I said to him getting faster and faster as I spoke. The boys gasped when I swore at Stone.
He, on the other hand, looked furious.
"I am your older brother-", He started to lecture but I stopped him half way.
"The fuck you are, your just someone else my mother gave birth to", I said, this time not holding back the emotion.
"How dare you speak to me this way? I had to come all the way here just to get you and your refusing, why do you have to be so difficult", He said pinching his fingers between his nose.
"Oh well I am sooo sorry to ruin your little schedule or whatever, but where do you want me to be, at home for when you come back whenever you want?", I asked him. Hardly anyone was in the diner as it was still pretty early, except for a middle aged women who was way too invested in her food to even bother about me.
"To fathers obviously, now enough with the attitude, show some goddamn respect", He said through gritted teeth.
"Father? Are you fucking kidding me. Once again, only a man who fucked our mother Stone. You know, to produce us. Now like I said order something or get the hell out", I said to him, my eyes squinted, glaring right at him. He looked bewildered for a second that I would dare speak to him like that.
"Fine. you'll wait on us and we will tell you if your good enough for this job", He said smirking and went and sat next to Ravy. How they all fitted in that booth I dont know, they obviously worked out alot, and they were all wearing really fancy suits, even Lucian. Ugh now I have to serve them. I turned to Monty and he looked pretty shocked at what just happened but put his thumbs up to show me that it was all okay.
I went over with my notebook.
"What can I get for you guys", I asked not looking up from the notepad.
"Its great to see you Tills", Millian said, the only one to ever really care and thats just because it would ruin his stupid reputation at school if his younger sister was getting beated up. I just hummed at him, still not bothering to look up.
"This is stupid, just come home, father misses you like crazy", I heard Rome say. I rolled my eyes.
"No you hate the fact that you have to bother with him instead of just leaving him to me to deal with, so like I said your order", I said, with full on attitude,still not looking up.
"Was he bad?", Ravy asked. Did he become more stupid as he grew up?
"You guys abandoned me with a raging alchoholic, what do you think?", I said rolling my eyes. I noticed Ravy nudging Stone in a knowing way by Stone shoved him off.
"Now for the last time,", I said looking up. "What. Do. You. Want. To. Eat.", I asked glaring at them. They all ordered some food, dragging it out as they went along. I nodded, collected the menus, not before Ravy held my hand.
"Im so sorry for leaving you to deal with that alone", He said with glossy eyes. I rolled my eyes as I snatched my hand away from him.
"Yeah, yeah I'm sure", I said sarcastically. They all looked pretty shocked I wasnt sweating buckets and with all the added confidence I never had as a kid, being alone really helped me to become my own person. I then walked off without a second glance whereas they were whispereing.
I went and gave Monty the orders, before disappearing into the back. I leant back against the wall, breathing harder and harder, as my throat closed up. The wall started to come in closer and I started to gain a giant headache. The breathing sounded herste at this point and it was becoming blury.
"Holy shit are you alright?", I heard Jacob ask me. I was leant against the wall with my hands on my knees, trying desperately to breathe. I just shook my head as he held my hand to his heart, to let me hear his heart beat. Soon enough I calmed down and relaxed. He held me in his arms as he caressed my hair.
"What happened?", He asked quietly.
"it doesn't matter, something stupid. It was just a little overwhealming thats all", I said. He nodded but I knew he didn't believe me.
"Alright, I just came to say goodbye", He said smiling. I smiled back and he kissed me on the lips.
"Have fun with your sister and your family.", I said whilst grinning at him. He grinned back and gave me one last hug and a kiss on the forehead before wandering out the door, waving as he went, he looked a little hesitent to leave me along but still he went. I mean I only kissed him yesterday.
Monty then rung the bell to say that their food was ready. I took a deep breathe. You can do this Matilda. They have no power over you whatsoever, they have no legal power either, unless Father died and I would just ask Granny to adopt me, Im pretty sure she would. I gained alot of confidence from that thought.
I went out and grabbed the food from Monty and went over to my brothers table. I gave them their food without a word to them, they all tried to start a conversation but I ignored every question.
"This isnt exactly great customer service", Stone said with a smirk, in which the rest of them smirked at as well. I rolled my eyes at them and tucked the tray that I held their food with under my arm and cross them.
"Only good customers deserve it", I said smirking, which stopped all of theirs. I then walked back into the kitchen without a second glance. I watched as they finished their food, the second they were done, I went to go clean it all away.
When I went back for the last glass, Stone grabbed my arm with his giant ass hands, like jesus christ his entire hand fitted around my arm. I tried to grab it back but he pulled on tighter. I knew it was going to bruise.
"Stone let go your hurting me", I said calmy. I dont think he realised how hard he was holding onto me. He let go almost instantly as it was starting to bruise already. I just glared at him, and tried to walk away but Revy stood up blocking me, Jesus they were ginormous. They were starting to scare me as well, with the way they were, the way they were acting, like I was their property and I couldnt just leave without their permission.
"Look, your coming with us whether you like it or not. We are going out to dinner tommorow and dad with be there, we will pick you up, we will send you a dress to wear, but either way your going. We have alot to discuss", He said.
I rolled my eyes and pushed past him.
"I am NOT going to stupid dinner with a bunch of assholes like you. Come to my house and Ill call the police you got it?", I said, completely and utterly furious with them. Stone shook his head before they all stood up.
"What you dont understand yet little sister", He said. It shocked me for him to aknowledge me like that but I got over it pretty quickly and started to back away slowly.
"Is that we get what we want, when we want it. Now we will be picking you up at 6 sharp, if your not ready, we will get people to change you ourselves, you got it?", He said calmy, staring right into my eyes, I was too scared to speak and he seemed to like that.
"Good. See you soon little sister", He said and went out to kiss me on the forehead. I did it without meaning too. It was just an insinct.
I slapped him . Hard. It echoed around the room as I looked at him in horror as the rage just built up more and more. He looked just like dad. I quickly ran to the back whilst I heard stomping and the diner door slamming.
