Luella woke up all excited as she was turning 7 today and finally going to see her mum
She got out of bed and ran into her eldest brothers room "Adriel!" she yelled jumping onto his bed causing him to jolt up
"Why are you shouting" he groaned
Luella settled down on his chest "It's my birthday" she said smiling tracing his tattoos
Adriel smiled and pulled his sister into a hug "Happy birthday" he whispered into her ear
"Thank you," Luella said placing a kiss onto her brother's cheek "When are we going to see mummy?"
"After breakfast, we'll leave, is that okay?"
Ella nodded "Yep, it's fine. I need to wake up Xander" she got off the bed and headed into her other brother's room to wake up him
Luella slammed the door open to jump onto her brother but to her surprise, he was already awake
"Happy birthday" Xander smiled as he knelt down with his arms open waiting for his sister to come
Luella ran into her brother's arm and hugged him "I'm finally seven" she exclaimed
"Still a baby though" A voice came from behind
Luella turned around and saw Xavier smirking at her "No I'm not!" she whined "You're the baby" even with her 'argument' going on she ran up to her brother
"Happy birthday baby" Xavier teased
"Xavier" Luella whined throwing her head back "Don't call me that"
"Baby" Xavier muttered under his breath which was clear enough for Luella to hear and kick him on the shin
"Ow! What the fuck?" Xavier groaned "She kicks so hard"
Xander stood up and walked over to his sister picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder causing her to squeal "Alright, enough"
Xander walked downstairs into the kitchen with Xavier following from behind. He placed his sister down "You need to eat quickly before Adriel leaves without you"
Luella nodded "I want cereal"
Xavier took a seat beside her and pulled her hair "All grown up now huh?"
Ella looked at her brother "Yes," she put up three fingers "This many years till I'm ten"
"Oh how old" Xavier laughed
"Xavier, stop laughing" Luella smacked his arm
"Do you mind not hitting me, I swear I'm just getting bullied today" Xavier spoke to himself
Luella laughed just as her bowl of cereal was placed in front of her "It's fine Xavier, I still love you"
"So much love shown" Xavier shook his head in incredulity refusing to listen to his sister
"Shut up so she can eat her food" Xander smacked the back of Xavier's head
"I-" Xavier stuttered "This is like not okay right now"
Luella just sat there eating her cereal watching Xavier get 'bullied'
"Luella!" Adriel's voice came from upstairs
Xander sat down "She's eating!" he yelled
Adriel came rushing downstairs with his sister's bag in his hand and placed it by the door before putting a new change of clothes on the couch for Luella "Change once you've eaten"
Luella nodded before stuffing her face with another spoonful
"Xavier, are you coming?" Adriel asked
Xavier looked at his brother and shook his head "No thanks"
Luella looked up at her brother "Why not?" she asked tilting her head to the side confused on why exactly neither of her brothers wanted to come to see her mummy
Xavier smiled "I'm busy," he said then leaning close to his sister "I need to go and buy your presents"
Luella nodded and smiled "Oh, we can go another time"
Xander and Xavier just looked at each other before looking at their eldest brother who just shook his head at them
"I'm done, thank you Xander" Luella got up and picked up her clothes before changing quickly into her tracksuit set that her brother had picked out
Adriel grabbed his keys and his sister's bag before putting his shoes on "Luella aren't you forgetting something?" he spoke up
Luella looked at her brother and scrunched her nose "No?" then it hit her "Oh! my teddy" she ran upstairs to her room and grabbed Mr snuggles
She put on her shoes and walked over to her brothers "I'll tell mummy you're both busy and will see her later"
Xavier nodded and kissed his sister's cheek "That's fine"
Xander smiled at his sister and waved at her as she walked out of the door

"I spy with my little eye something green" Luella was now sat in the back of her brother's car playing 'I spy' with him
"Hmm, the trees?" Adriel questioned not leaving his focus from the road
"Yes!" Luella laughed "That one was super easy" she continued playing with her brother till she got bored and gave up
"I'm really bored" she whined,
"Did you not get your iPad?" Adriel asked
"No, didn't wanna bring it"
"We've got like three minutes anyways, just bear with me"
Ella nodded and played with her teddy in her arms "Can't wait to see mummy"

"Luella, the flowers" Adriel called out for his sister as he took out the flowers that they picked up this morning before getting on the road
Luella walked over and grabbed the flowers patiently waiting for her brother to lock the car
"Come on" Adriel held his hand out and Ella held on as they walked to the cemetery
Luella spotted her mums name "There!" she pointed out to her brother letting go of his hand and running over to the grave
Luella smiled and placed the flowers down "Hi mummy"
Adriel made his way to his sister and kneeled down as she spoke away listening to everything she said
"Mummy, it's been super long and I do miss you very much but I now have Xavier, Xander and Adriel with me and they all miss you too" she sniffled for a moment, "Xander and Xavier said that they will see you soon and couldn't come today 'cos it's my birthday"
Adriel knew his sister was probably tearing up now
"Mummy you aren't here for my seventh birthday" a tear rolled down Luella's cheek
Adriel sighed and pulled his sister towards him "You're gonna be fine" he told her
Luella nodded and sat down on the grass beside the stone then looked at her brother "You talk to mummy too"
Adriel nodded and looked at his sister who was just picking on grass then looked back at the grave where his mother was lying
The mother who left him, the mother who left because of a dickhead father
"Mum, it sounds so fucking stupid to be here talking but we all do miss you so much. the other two dickheads didn't come but I'll make sure they do come here soon."
He took a deep breath "I promise you I'll protect Luella with all my heart and take care of her till I die. She'll always be with me, don't worry about her"
He got up and wiped his trousers down before calling out for his sister "You ready to go?"
Luella nodded sadly before looking down once again
"I miss you so so much mummy"
