I was just about to crash for the night when Hunter spoke, he sounded tense and nervous.
"We need to speak lizzy...... Regarding the pack and your status"he said and I perked up
" What do you mean Hunter? Is everything alright? " I asked sitting up and leaning against the bed
"Lizzy actually to be honest nothing seems good right now" He said
"What do you mean, Hunter you need to elaborate.... You twisting words is not helping" I said reaching out for him and making him sit next to me
"Lizzy... I.. I was speaking to Ethan and he told me that in the pack there was a member Gorden.... He was weary of you attaining the luna position and becoming a part of the pack... He thought that once you find the opportunity to kill us you will... Ethan confronted him but that led to an ugly fight and as a result Gorden left the pack..... But his words.... His words made the pack doubt you and now they aren't as cheery as they were for you becoming luna.... They don't trust you" He said. I was shocked initially but then I realized that it was valid for them to doubt me... I was a wolf hunter before... But what was bothering me is what Hunter thought of me.... I needed to know what he thought of me
"Hunter.... Are you also doubting me? " I asked softly bracing myself for the worst
"God's no... Of course not... Me Ethan rosyln... Nathan lexi we all trust you more than anything... We know that you were saying the truth about accepting us... Honestly the pack was too but then they realised that one of the daggers was missing from the confesssion room and.... Gorden saw you swipe it and there is evidence in the cctv and that's whats led to this problem. "He said. Of course the dagger... I forgot about it
" Hunter... The only reason I took the dagger was to protect myself , before you convinced me that you and the pack were not going to hurt me... I was scared and vulnerable.... And to have some sort of safety... I stole the dagger " I said
"Hey... I totally get it and I dont blame you... Don't worry" He said and I nodded
"How am I suppose to earn the packs trust" I asked
"Well... Uhm don't take us wrong... But the only solution we could get was.... to begin by marking you it will allow your thoughts to easily pass through everyone's head and you would feel much more closer to us and me We can then begin by renowing the bonds you were beginning to form with the pack in the party..... If we crown you luna that day... The pack would feel much more safer. I mean after you're luna, harming us would be tough because of the strong connections you will have will have with us" He said and I remained silent. Getting marked and then getting crowned was a big step.... I had just accepted Hunter as a mate last night.... Getting marked and crowned was bit too soon... But if I don't agree then that could lead to problems for Hunter as alpha.... What if one of the younger wolves challenge his authority... Not that I doubt he would lose but..... He could get hurt..... Or even worse the pack relations would be hampered. This is a lot to take in... A lot to process.... My heart was telling me to take things slow but my mind was telling me to agree with him.... I was stuck... Confused and scared. A lot was at stake of I agree... I am bound to Hunter and the pack forever and if I don't agree then the pack relations would be affected... All this depeneded on a single sentence from me. I signed, making my up my mind I turned to Hunter who was observing me
"Mark me Hunter and crown me Luna at the party" I said maintaining an eye contact
"Lizzy are you sure.... If you need time... We can take things slow.... I and Ethan would come up with a second plan" He said fumbling...
"I am sure Hunter... Mark me. " I said. He sighed and then nodded
"I'll try to make at less painful as I can" He said
"Wait.... How are you going to mark me?" I asked
"Biting you and then mating with you" He said. My eyes went wide but nodded.
He searched my eyes once more for answers to some questions which were left unspoken before he leaned towards my neck
"You smell so tasty and so irristable" He murmerred. I moaned as je began softly kissing my neck, I felt his teeth graze me softly and then he bit me
"Ahhh.. Mhmmm" My screams turned I to moans when he began to sooth the bite Mark
"Mhmm" He moaned as my hand went into his hair. His lips travelled their way up my jaw before crashing on my lips. A while after our clothes piled at the corner and hunter began to thrust home
We laid next to each our limbs tangled beneath the sheets
"You good? " He asked when we regained our breaths
"Yep" I said....
"Gosh... Your marks looks so good" He said eying the place where he bit me
"What does it look like? " I asked
"See for yourself" He said licking me up and taking me to the bathroom mirror. I set my hair to the side and saw a beautiful blackcrescent moon formed on my neck, representing the pack. Below it was a small H
"Every mate gets the initials of their mate imprinted on them" He explained and I nodded
"It's beautiful" I said and he smiled
"Not as beautiful as the person on whom it has been placed " He said and I smiled. After admiring it for a while, Hunter carried me back to the bed where I rested my head on his chest and smiled
"Hope you don't mind being a pillow" I said.
"Am I that comfy" He asked and I nodded smiling. "Well then.. I'm at your service love" He said as he pulled the covers to our necks, he hummed a soft song lulling me go sleep.
