I groaned as I dragged myself to my closet. It was now Thursday, so my cousins would be arriving tomorrow!
I'm very tired, I stayed up quite late texting Mateo. *insert blush*
Now, I was trying to pick an outfit.
It was pretty warm out today, so I'm dressing accordingly.
(instead of the white tiny purse, she has a white backpack)
I quickly put on some make-up, the usual. Mascara, lip-gloss, blush and brows.
Then, I was on my way downstairs.
''Morning.'' I mumbled sitting down.
''Good morning, slept well?'' Papa glanced up from his newspaper.
''S-somewhat. I went to s-sleep a bit la-late..'' I smiled sheepishly.
We talked about some basic stuff, while eating breakfast.
Today, Luciano is taking me to school.
Getting into the car, I pulled out my phone and just scrolled through it, while Luciano was driving to a Starbucks, in need of a coffee.
After around 20 minutes, and a Starbucks-break later, we made it to school.
''Will you be okay walking to class on your own?'' Luciano asked.
''S-sí, I'll m-meet up wi-with Mateo a-and the oth-others at m-my locker.'' I said.
He nodded and walked off sipping on his coffee.
I started fast-walking to my locker, already wanting to sit down.
I was feeling a bit light-headed.
Making it to my locker, I had to calm down and breathe for a bit.
''Woah, Angel are you okay?'' Mateo asked putting his hand on my lower back.
''Y-yeah, I-I just wa-walked a bit t-too fast.'' I said still breathing a bit heavy.
''Come on, let's go take a seat, hm?'' he said, closing my locker.
''O-okay..'' I said leaning into him a little.
I was almost losing balance.
''Good girl.'' he said stroking my back with his thumb.
Blushing intensifies.
Mateo quickly lead us to some bench in the hallway.
''You look pale. Are you sure you're okay?'' he said while putting his hand on my forehead.
''I'm ok-okay..I j-just maybe d-didn't ha-have enough f-food for bre-breakfast..'' I mumbled.
''We could get something for you from the cafeteria?'' he said.
I don't like the cafeteria.
He noticed me tensing, and instantly grabbed my hand and began to stroke it with his thumb.
It was soothing.
''Okay, I know you don't like the cafeteria, how about we go to a diner near here, hm?'' he said looking down at me.
''U-um ok-okay..'' I said.
In the blink of an eye, we were in Mateo's car. Aiden and Mason are in the backseat.
We were driving for a solid 10 minutes, before pulling up in front of a super cute diner.
I hope they have cupcakes.
''Come on, precioso. We only have 30 minutes.'' Mateo said.
Nodding, I scurried out of the car and followed the guys to the diner.
Holy strawberry cheesecake.
It looked so- so...so cool!
We took a seat and just a few seconds later, a waitress was already ready to take our order.
''Welcome! What can I get for y'all to drink?'' she smiled.
''We'll all just have Cokes, thank you.'' Aiden said.
She nodded, walking back behind the counter.
''This pl-place is s-so pretty!'' I smiled widely and looked around the diner.
''Oh my god. You have the cutest dimples ever.'' Mason cooed.
I blushed, of course, and heard Mateo mutter something next to me and pull me a little closer.
Weird.
''T-thank you..'' I said shyly.
Then we looked at the menu and decided what we want.
I just took a big salad, and the guys took burgers and fries.
''Angel, you should have something a bit more, how do I say it, filling.'' Mateo said.
''I-I'm not ve-very hungry s-so...'' I mumbled playing with my fingers.
Of course I was hungry.
But I've been gaining weight lately. Not good.
Mateo just hummed and started talking to the guys.
Did I make him mad? Oh no.
I really don't already want to lose them oh nonono.
Before I could overthink more, our food was brought to the table.
Yummy.
Everyone quickly dug in. It took us about 10 minutes to eat.
''So, who wants dessert?'' Aiden smirked.
''M-me! I s-saw that th-they have a y-yummy strawb-berry milkshake!!'' I exclaimed.
Chuckling, Mateo got up and went to order dessert for all of us.
He then sat back down, and maybe 5 minutes later we got our dessert.
''O-oh my! It lo-looks so good!'' I said, quickly drinking out of the straw.
''A-and it tastes g-good too!!''
We ate our desserts in silence, then got up and left.
I tried to pay for at least my lunch, but Mateo just said that 'princesses don't pay for their lunch'.
Meanie.
I'm not a princess.
I'm clearly a queen.
Joking.
Maybe.
I was lost in my thoughts and we were already back at school.
Bummer.

Classes were quickly done, and now I was waiting for papa and Elio to come pick me, Luciano, Romeo and Gabriel up.
We're all going grocery shopping!
''I'm s-so excited f-for our c-cousins vi-visit!!'' I squealed.
''Me too. It's been a while since we've seen them.'' Luci smiled.
''Y-yeah..'' I trailed off.
I know why they aren't visiting.
Ever since the incident, everyone treated me differently. And I think that my cousins stopped liking me as much. So they don't visit as much. And when they do, they spend most of the time with my brothers and try to avoid me.
It's okay. I still love them a lot!
Soon enough, Papa and Elio pulled up to the school, and we all got in.
''Hey guys, how was school?'' Elio asked putting his phone away.
The guys went on about their school day.
''And you, Lina?'' Elio smiled.
Lina is a nickname only Elio uses. Most people call me Angel, so does Elio, but sometimes he calls me Lina and no one else does that.
It's nice!
''It wa-was okay! Du-during lunch the g-guys took m-me to a diner! It was s-so cool!'' I said.
''Hm..that's nice.'' Elio trailed off.
Rest of the ride we all just kept talking about everything and anything. And BOOM we were at Tesco.
It took us about an hour to get everything. We decided to have a sort of 'party' with our cousins once they arrive. So, that mean the got a lot of snacks and baking ingredients.
Papa also said I can skip school tomorrow, because our cousins are arriving at 1pm!
Gives us enough time to get everything ready for them too!
I am so excited.
Then, we were already heading home. I was exhausted and just wanted a nap.
So, obviously, the second I stepped into my room, I plopped down on my bed for a nap.
Perfect.
