renjun walked up to him and hit him on the shoulder
'what are you doing here?'
"NO what are YOU doing here? how do you know these people"
'they came over to chenles and we hung out and yuta invited me'
"you shouldn't be here"
'well i am here and last time i checked you don't control my life'
with that renjun walked away from kun and over to where jaemin was sitting and sat down right on his lap
"you okay?"
'why's kun here?'
"he's friends with a few people here, why?"
'i don't want him here' renjun pouted
"sorry angel nothing i can do about that one. just stay away from him if you don't wanna be around him" jaemin said and kissed renjuns temple
'fine'
"imma go get drinks, want some?" renjun nodded and scooted off jaemins lap and watched haechan and johnny scream lyrics to a song he didn't know
"you look bored" yuta said as he sat down next to renjun
renjun pulled out his phone and typed in his notes since he didn't have paper
'i am'
"i shouldn't have told you to come, i'm sorry"
'no no it's fine it's just not much to do when everyone else seems like all of you are bestfriends and i don't know most of you and don't talk'
"if you wanna go i can drive you home"
'i'm staying with jeno and mark right now'
"oh? well i could drop you off back there if you want"
'it's fine, i'll wait till they leave to go with them'
"you sure? you seem uncomfortable and i feel bad"
'really it's fine, i'll just sit here till everyone's done'
"okay, if you wanna leave just tell me and i'll drive you"
and with that yuta walked away to join a few others who were stuffing their faces with food
renjun sighed and scrolled on his phone. it had been 10 minutes and jaemin still wasn't back
renjun decided to find him so he got up and walked out the room to find him. walking down a long hallway with singing and loud noises coming from each room he kept walking until he reached the bar. looking around he didn't see him
'bathrooms?' he thought so that's where he went to next
walking in on a sight he didn't really wanna see. like ever. like in a million years. jaemin kissing someone that was definitely not him nor jeno.
walking right back out the door. tears in eyes he went into the room everyone was in, sure enough jeno was sitting in the corner laughing with jaehyun mark and hendery
renjun let a tear fall but quickly wiped it a away and looked for yuta. easily spotting him he walked up to him and tugged his shirt
"ye-" yuta could see the tears in his eyes and quickly excused himself and walked renjun out of the room and out the bar. standing outside in the slight cold he stopped and turned to the younger
"what's going on?"
renjun couldn't even type anything and just let the tears fall yuta didn't even have to think twice about about bringing him in for a hug. running his fingers through his hair while whispering sweet things in his ear. renjun eventually calmed down and grabbed his phone
'i wanna leave'
"okay i'll drive you back to jenos, i can go get him and jaemin"
'no. i don't wanna see them i just need a minute away from them'
"what happened"
'can we just go somewhere please.'
"yeah, yeah of course lemme get my jacket and keys and we can go"
they both walked in but renjun waited outside their room while yuta got his stuff and said his goodbyes. when he was done they both left and drove to yutas apartment. when they got their they both say on the couch in silence
"so, can you tell me what happened"
'jaemin cheated'
"he what?" he didn't yell but he was definitely mad
'i saw him in the bathroom kissing someone, it wasn't jeno because he was with mark and the others at that point and it definitely wasn't me'
"oh my god how could he do that?! i'm gonna kill him"
'i cant go to jenos because i would tell him and i don't know if i should or not'
"what do you mean?"
'what if he doesn't believe me? thinks i'm lying to break them up or something what if he yells at me or hurts me or something'
"then i'll kill him too"
'you wouldn't do that'
"i would"
'why?'
"because you are this cute little person that i wanna protect with my life and if someone hurts you i'll hurt them 10x worse"
'really? you mean that?'
"i mean that with every bone in my body"
renjun didn't type anything. brain running to quick.
"thank you" renjun said barely above a whisper.
"did you just" without even thinking yuta hugged him with a huge smile on his face "oh my god you talked. you spoke to me oh my god i'm gonna cry" and he did. yuta pulled back from the hug with tears streaming down his face
"god you talked. you said you would only talk if you felt really safe and you talked to me" and he pulled him back into a hug "god i've wanted to hear you talk since i first heard about you and now you've talked to me"
"what do you mean?"
"i mean i heard so much about you from my friends and the school and you've always been this cute kid who never talked you were this great mystery that no one knew and suddenly it's like everyone knows everything. god i'm in shock and rambling i'm sorry"
"don't apologize" renjun said with a smile "i like hearing you talk"
"god your voice is beautiful fuck i just wow you're really just perfect" and before any more words could be said renjun kissed him.
maybe because of the safety he felt, maybe because of the emotions running through him, maybe because a part of him just wants to feel loved and right now that's all he feels
when they pulled away they both had big smiles on their face.
"you talked"
"i did"
"you're perfect"
"so are you"
"stay over? we can watch movies and cuddle or we can talk and cuddle or we can kiss and cuddle as you can see i really just wanna cuddle"
"we can make all three happen okay? where's your room"
yuta led him to his room, it wasn't huge but it wasn't small.
"you live here alone?"
"no, johnny, ten and jaehyun all live with me"
"oh"
"why you ask?"
"i was just wondering"
"when they come home they'll be drunk off their asses tho"
"okay"
"well, movie, talk, or kiss first? preferably i'm down for number 3 but ya know"
"your so stupid" renjun laughed
"god your laugh is perfect"
"i get it i'm the most perfect human alive"
"i can't argue with that"
"you're too cheesy"
"you'll learn to deal with it"
"movie first"
"fineeee, what movie?"
"i don't care" renjun said while laying down onto yutas bed
a random movie ended up playing but neither of them payed attention as their attention was only on eachother and the kisses their shared between them. the night ended with them cuddled up together, renjuns head resting on yutas chest and their legs tangled between eachother
