A 4 year old Naruto was sitting in the Hokage tower in Hiruzen's office and he was reading a book that his Toad Jiji gave him. Today was the day of the fox festival and he heard some voice in the back of his head tell him to stay here for the day. He wasn't sure what the voice was so he asked Jiji and he simply told him it's someone who's looking out for him.
"Hey Jiji what's Fuinjutsu?" Asked Naruto walking over to Hiruzen's desk and pointing at the chapter labeled 'understanding Fuinjutsu'.
"Hm oh well Fuinjutsu is the art of sealing and your mom was very good at it and so was your father and grandpa". Said Hiruzen smiling as he put his paper work down to take a quick break from it.
"My parents were good at it... Can you tell me about them?..." Asked Naruto looking up at Hiruzen hopefully.
"I'm sorry but not yet your parents told me not to tell you unless your grandparents agree or you at least become Chunin". Said Hiruzen sadly since he did wanna tell him but new that Iwa would strike the first chance they get if they found out who his parents were.
"... I see... Is there anything you can tell me about them at least?..." Said Naruto with his head down.
Hiruzen smiled and nodded "yes I can't tell you much but you have your mom's hair color and bits of both their personalities. You can be calm and patient and like to learn much like your father. And you love pranking and have bit of a short temper like your mother".
"Wow.. did they love me.." said Naruto.
"You have no idea... They spent their final moments telling you that they loved you" said Hiruzen which made Naruto nod his head but had a small smile.
"Thank you Jiji.." said Naruto before he looked back up at him with determination in his eyes. "Jiji I wanna make my parents proud as a ninja and honor their legacy how do I start with that?".
Hiruzen couldn't help but smile before he walked over to the book case and grabbed a couple of books. "These right here will help you, one of them will teach you about Chakra, another will tell you about being a Ninja. And the final one is the brief history of the Hidden Leaf".
Naruto looked down at the books and smiled before he grabbed them and sat down and started reading them.
A couple of hours went by and Naruto went through the first book and started on the second when a man came through the window.
"Hey Sensei how's it going?" Said Jiraiya. He was a tall man standing at about 6,4 and had long white hair and some red lines going down his face.
"TOAD JIJI!" yelled Naruto is excitement as he ran over to his grandpa and hugged his leg.
Jiraiya smiled as he got down on a knee and pulled Naruto into a hug.
Jiraiya can't be in the village as much as he likes because of his spy network and with rising tensions from other villages. He's only able to come about 3 times a year and he always spends a whole week with Naruto secretly each time. If people were to find out that Jiraiya had a connection to Naruto they might find out Naruto's heritage.
"Toad Jiji I missed you How has it been since you left?" asked Naruto excitedly.
"Haha it's been good even though I wish I could bring you along and find your grandma" said Jiraiya with the last part in a sad tone.
Ever since Minato's death Tsunade just disappeared and leaves next to no trace where she goes. Both him and Hiruzen have no idea why she would abandon Naruto and cut all ties with everyone.
Naruto looked down in sadness it hurt him to know that his grandma is out there and apparently wants nothing to do with him. Since he can also sense other people's emotions and he hated it when he felt his Jiji and Toad Jiji we're feeling sad.
"Well anyways don't worry I have my spy network tracking her down, anyways I got you something". Said Jiraiya as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small book.
"This right here was your mothers book when she started learning seals and I decided it's time you start learning too". Said Jiraiya as he handed Naruto the book and watched him cry tears of joy as he hugged the book.
Hiruzen smiled at the scene and couldn't help but feel guilt since someone leaked information out on Naruto's status. Ever since then his life has been hell until the clans stepped in and started protecting him. Luckily no one has done any physical abuse to him In fear of facing the wrath of the Hokage and the clans. But that hasn't stopped them from ignoring and glaring at him.
Hiruzen suspected it was Danzo but didn't have any solid evidence at the moment. He also found out that Naruto was kicked out of the orphanage and he was now looking for somewhere for him to live.
"Sensei I have some important information for you" said Jiraiya walking to Hiruzen's desk. Naruto was back on the couch reading Fuinjutsu from his mom's book and couldn't help but smile at the thought of it.
"I see, very well tell me what's going on" said Hiruzen sitting back down at his desk and interlocking his fingers.
"As I said earlier I haven't made any contact with Tsunade but from what my spies have been telling me I'm on the right track". Said Jiraiya as he sighed " I also have information on Kumo that shocked me when I heard about it".
"Oh and what's going on in Kumo" asked Hiruzen slightly worried.
"From what I've heard A the Third Raikage is building up his forces and sending them near our border. But the news that truly shocked me was that his son is trying to stop him and convince him not to draw us in another war". Said Jiraiya shocking Hiruzen as he nodded his head.
"Hmm that's quiet funny because he was just talking to me about forming a alliance... He's planning on sending a ambassador to draw up the alliance. I'll have some extra Anbu keep an eye on him when he arrives" said Hiruzen as he stroked his chin.
"I also have information about a group of S class ninja and Orochimaru is part of it" said Jiraiya making Hiruzen lean back and sigh.
"Thank you Jiraya... Go and spend the day with Naruto I'm sure both of you wanted to spend some time together" said Hiruzen.
Jiraiya stood up and thanked him before he went over to Naruto and said they are going to go and spend time together.
After they left Hiruzen looked out the window toward the village "Minato, Kushina if only you were here" said Hiruzen as he went back to his paperwork.

A week past and Jiraya had to leave the village much to Naruto's sadness but he promised he should be back in 4 months.
Naruto was sitting on Hokage Monument looking over the Village and couldn't help but smile at how beautiful it was.
"Naruto you know it's kinda dangerous to be sitting their" said someone walking up to him.
Naruto turned around and saw a dog masked Anbu with white gravity defying hair. He walked over to him and sat next him and both sat in silence for a little.
"Um how are you dog-san?" Asked Naruto looking up at him.
Naruto met the dog masked Anbu about a year ago and he always sensed sadness and regret from him.
"I'm doing well Naruto just been busy with Anbu, how about you" asked Kakashi hoping to spend as much time with him as possible. With him being part of Anbu he's supposed to remain hidden in the shadows but Hiruzen gave him permission to be with Naruto. Sadly Danzo found out about this and used his influence to make him and others that care about him forced to stay away.
After the Kyuubi attack and Naruto's burden being spread, Danzo did everything he can to make sure no one could help him. He got the advisors and the civilian council on his side to ensure that. They made sure no one could adopt him because technically Naruto is a civilian and village asset at the same time. If one of the clans was to adopt him it'd throw the balance out of whack.
Sadly the Hokage couldn't stop him outright from doing that because Danzo still had lots of political power. If he did anything drastic against him Danzo could do something even worse and the last thing the village needs is civil war or rioting.
"I've been doing okay, Jiji gave me some books to read" said Naruto with a small smile before he pulled out the books and showed him.
Kakashi looked at the books and couldn't help but smile "you know I might be able to help you unlock your chakra".
"Really Dog-san? You'd do that for me?" Asked Naruto excitedly.
"Yes I would but I can't right now because we have a important delegate coming in the next couple of days and the Hokage has a mission for me. So when I come back I'll teach you how to unlock it, how does that sound" said Kakashi with a smile under his two masks.
"Thank you dog-san I promise not to disappoint!" Said Naruto with determination in his eyes.
"I'm sure you can do it" said Kakashi as he ruffled Naruto's hair which made him smile.

"FATHER THIS IS MADNESS DO YOU REALLY WANNA GO TO WAR!" Yelled A the son of the third Raikage and next in line for the position.
"Yes! Yes I do we lost the war but now we'll kidnap the Hyuuga heiress and breed the clan here. As well as the supposed red head their, if may be possible he's a surviving Uzumaki". Said the third Raikage glaring at his son.
"Father we can't handle another war we only just started recovering and our military is still at half it's strength from the last war" said A.
"Matters not once the have the Byakugan we shall be unstoppable, now leave!!! I've had enough of your attitude" said the third Raikage.
A glared at his father with anger before he stomped out and slammed the door shut. Behind him was his adoptive brother B was behind him with a look of concern.
"Bro what we gonna do, we gotta convince pops to change yo" said B with bad rapping and rhyming.
"Sigh... I don't know B... The last thing this world needs is the 4th great Shinobi war. We lost the last one and barely recovered... Besides we've caused enough bloodshed especially after my father and Iwa ordered the extermination of the Uzumaki clan". Said A walking out of the tower with a solemn look on his face.
A looked up into the sky and tried to think of how he can stop his father from this. Ever since he lost in the second war he started going insane and was willing to sacrifice as many ninja as needed. During the Uzushiogakure invasion he sent 7,000 ninja and only 500 came back and declared it a victory.
"Bro the only way we can stop pops is if we revolt" said B sadly as he clenched his fist.
"... Your right... B I have a mission for you and if you accept it you may be labeled a missing Ninja" said A.
"What is it?" Said B with a serious look on his face.
"I need you to track down the ambassador ninja we sent and stop him, I'll send a messenger hawk to the leaf to warn them ahead of time". Said A as he looked at his brother "while your doing that... I'll have to stop our father which may lead to civil war. If I win I'll instate myself as the Raikage and sue for peace and try and make it real treaty with the head leaf. Can I trust you with this B?".
B didn't say anything at first before he kneeled down on the ground with his head bowed. "I'll follow you to the very end Raikage-sama" said B with a very serious tone.
"Thank you brother now get going and don't worry I'll have Darui watch Yugito till you get back" said A.
B stood up and nodded and ran off heading to the leaf to try and stop the Kumo ninja.
A turned and headed to the messenger Hawks and grabbed the fastest one and wrote a letter and sent it to the leaf. In hopes it'll reach the Hokage in time to stop a possible war from coming.
He looked back at the village and strengthened his resolve as he made his was to the Raikage tower. "You've lost your way father... It's time for this needless bloodshed to finally end".

A day has passed and Hiruzen just finished his talks with the Kumo ambassador. He hopes that this may finally lead to peace and maybe no more bloodshed will have to be spilt.
Hiruzen was knocked out of his musings when a messenger hawk landed on the window sill. A Anbu checked it to make sure it wasn't booby trapped before he handed it to the Hokage.
He took the letter from the Anbu and began reading it as he continued to read it his eyes widened in horror.
Hiruzen quickly stood up "ANBU I WANT EVERY NINJA IN THIS VILLAGE HUNTING DOWN THE KUMO AMBASSADOR RIGHT NOW!!!. HE IS AFTER THE HYUGA HEIRESS AND NARUTO I WANT NO STONE UNTURNED!!!".
The Anbu immediately nodded and quickly left the office to hunt down the Kumo ninja and inform any none Anbu ninja.
Hiruzen quickly activated a seal that was linked to all Anbu's tattoo and informed them on the situation. He then quickly grabbed his all seeing orb and quickly started searching for Naruto.
"Naruto please be careful" said Hiruzen as he desperately looked for him.
What Hiruzen and the other Ninja didn't know was that they were currently tracking a lighting clone that the Kumo ninja made. As the real one was getting away with his prize.

Meanwhile outside the village walls Naruto was sitting by a camp fire cooking some fish. He had ramen at his apartment but he enjoyed being out in nature and he wasn't sure why but he felt connected with the trees around him.
As he was happily cooking his dinner he heard some rustling and turned around and saw a Kumo ninja with a bag on his back.
"That red hair and massive chakra signature he really is a Uzumaki" thought the Kumo ninja as he smirked. "If I bring him with me I'll be rewarded even more".
The Kumo ninja slammed the bag on the ground knocking out the person in it as he began walking towards Naruto.
"Now come here kid or I'm gonna have to hurt you" said the Kumo ninja with a sickening grin.
Naruto started backing away in fear from what he was seeing "N-no s-stay away f-from me" said Naruto desperately.
What neither Naruto or the Kumo ninja noticed was that the trees around them started swaying slightly. The forest seemed very angry as it kept swaying More and more violently.
The Kumo ninja quickly ran up to Naruto and punched him in the stomach which sent him into a tree. He then walked up to him and pushed his foot against Naruto's neck strangling him.
"Come on Uzumaki squirm I wanna see you loose hope just like your clan when we slaughtered them" said the Kumo ninja with a grin.
"Jiji... Toad Jiji... Dog-san... Please... H..elp..." Thought Naruto loosing consciousness.
The Kumo ninja smirked seeing the kid loosing consciousness, he went to go and grab him when a bunch of roots came from the ground. They quickly ensnared his legs, but he was quick enough to grab a kunai and cut them and jump back.
"What the hell was that... Wait... HOLY SHIT MOKUTON!!" thought the Kumo ninja before he smiled even more.
His grin was wiped off his face when when he felt a very evil vile chakra coat the very area around him. The chakra was so powerful and dark that it made the Kumo ninja start to get scared.
"W-what kind of chakra is this" thought the Kumo ninja terrified.
He looked up and saw the Red head standing up but he had a cloak of red chakra covering his whole body.
"You made a grave mistake" said Naruto standing up but his voice was different. It was darker and more powerful and it demanded respect. "I was asked to make sure this boy was safe and your gonna try and kidnap him."
Naruto then raised his head up and when he did the Kumo ninja fell to the ground in fear and backed away.
Naruto's eyes were now crimson red with the pupils being slits, his whisker marks became more pronounced and thicker.
"I'm gonna kill you for trying to hurt him" said Naruto before he launched himself at the Kumo ninja catching him off guard. Naruto's fist landed in his gut with such force that the Kumo ninja bent over as he was launched backwards. He ended smashing through 5 trees before he slammed into a final one.
The Kumo ninja quickly looked up but before he could react the tree he was against came alive and the branches and roots wrapped around him. They held him tight and started to suck away his chakra and prevent him from escaping.
"Hehe would you look at that.. even the forest is protecting him" said naruto as he started walking towards him.
The Kumo ninja was panicking and trying his best to escape but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't. "S-STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU MONSTER!!" Yelled the Kumo ninja.
"Hehehehe you are right I am a monster and this monster is gonna make you suffer". Said Naruto before he ran up to him and punched him across the face with so much force it knocked out 4 teeth. The Kumo Ninja's face had a massive Brun mark from the red chakra.
As Naruto continued to beat the Kumo ninja he suddenly froze as he felt 2 familiar chakra signature's coming. "About time that old man got here" said Naruto before he suddenly clutched his stomach where the seal was. "Damn you Minato you made the seal too strong.. hopefully that old monkey gets here fast enough" thought Kurama. Naruto's body then collapsed on the ground with the red chakra receding.
A couple seconds later Hiruzen and Kakashi appeared with 4 squads of Anbu around them. They all looked and saw the Kumo ambassador was beaten bloody and covered in thick branches.
The sensor Ninja Neko then walked over to Naruto and checked him "Hokage-sama I can't sense the Kyuubi's chakra anymore" said Neko.
"Thank you Neko, take him to the Anbu hospital and make sure he's safe also I want another one of you to take the Hyuuga heiress back home". said Hiruzen with Neko nodding and leaving with Naruto and another Anbu take the unconscious Hinata. Out of the bag and take her home.
"Anbu this is a X class secret what we see holding the Kumo ninja" said Hiruzen making the Anbu freeze.
X class secrets were the highest level of secrets and those who broke them would be killed along with friends and family. To ensure that no information is ever leaked out to anyone.
"Hai Hokage-sama!" Yelled the Anbu with a salute before they went and freed the Kumo ninja.
"Take him to Ibiki and tell him I wanna know everything and to hold nothing back, but I want him alive" said Hiruzen.
The Anbu nodded and left with the prisoner.
Hiruzen, Kakashi and the Hokage's personal Anbu we're about to leave when someone else showed up.
"Yo yo it's me Killer B and I'm looking for a fly that I gotta sting yo" said B with bad rapping.
Everyone just stared at him with deadpan expressions not knowing how to respond to that.
"Ah yes B your brother informed me that you were hunting down the other Kumo ninja correct" Said Hiruzen.
"That's Hokage-dono" said B.
"We have already captured him and is now being held in interrogation" said Hiruzen making B nod.
"I see well I was ordered to stop him anyways, so you can keep him for now I gotta go and help my brother yo". Said B with more bad rapping.
"Very well and I wish you luck with whatever it is your going to do B" said Hiruzen watching B leave the area heading back to Kumo.

Naruto opened his eyes and looked around and noticed that he was in a massive sewer. He slowly stood up and started walking down the tunnel looking for a exit.
After what felt like hours of walking he arrived at a massive pair of metal bars with a piece of paper that said "seal" on it.
He started walking to the bars and spoke out "U-um H-hello?" Said Naruto looking into the bars.
After he said that in the dark cage a massive pair of red eyes opened and looked down at Naruto.
"So we finally meet" said Kurama fully revealing himself and making Naruto fall back on the ground in fear.
"K-kyuubi..." Said Naruto scared.
