After crying our hearts out, I helped him to move into his room. I laid him there, took his shoes and socks off. I took his blazer and put a blanket on him. I was about to go when he held my hand. I turned towards him to see his eyes were closed
"Please don't leave me" I sat with him and start to caress his hair.
He snuggled to my side and put his head in my lap. I start to roam fingers on his face.
His eyes have dark circles, I wonder my fingers there. He is not resting much. He put his hands around my waist and snuggled.
"Please don't leave me, I'm sorry" he was mumbling
My heart aches, he is unconscious still he is saying sorry.
How do we come here? From 'not want you in my life to 'please don't leave me '
Give him a chance, please. We both know that we can not live without him. All these days you know how much we suffered. He suffered too, look at him, he was never like that so vulnerable and broken. He even begged you, he knelt in front of you. The man from whom people are scared and never even look him in his eyes today he knelt to you. This proves how much you mean to him.
I was just staring at him while caressing his hair.
Just forgive him and move on. Live a happy life with him. You can't be like this always, move on.
I sighed. I tried to get up but couldn't so I sat there caressing his hair.
I don't know when sleep consumed me the whole thing about this whole scenario.
The light disturbs me and I woke up. My neck was aching and I felt a weight on my lap. When I look at my lap, I saw such a heart-warming sight. Ayyan was completely snuggled into my tummy area. His hands were around my waist. I don't know how is he even breathing like that.
I was still in yesterday's clothes and due to sleeping in an awkward position, my neck is aching.
I sat there for some time staring at him. It was 9 so I slowly move Ayyan and put his head on the pillow. I kissed his forehead and went to change.
I fresh up, put pain killer on his side table with a glass of water and went to make breakfast.
It's been half an hour but Ayyan didn't come down so I thought to go and wake him up but before that Ayyan came down massaging his forehead.
I turned to make breakfast again.
"Good Morning Jaana(life). Sorry I got late. I was worried that you'll get late." I just nodded.
"Ok, you go and sit outside I'll just make breakfast and then we'll do it together"
He does not even remember last night and here I am overthinking from last night.
"It's almost done you go and sit,"
"Ok, then I'll stand here and watch my biwi(wife) cooking." I didn't say anything
I served the food on the table with Ayaan's help.
I put his plate in front of him and after seeing his plate his eye widened
"Where is my breakfast? " He frowned
"In front of you," I shrugged
"Why did you give me this?" He asked frowning
I shrugged
"I'm not eating it" He whined
"Then don't," I said carelessly and didn't look at him
For some time, I felt his eyes on me but I didn't look at him. I was just eating my food.
I saw from my peripheral vision, he starts to eat making bad faces.
There were boiled vegetables for him and juice.
After eating he dropped me at my office and left not before kissing my forehead.
I was smiling the whole day. Even Arhan asked me why am I smiling too much.
At lunchtime, I decided to go to Ayyan's office and have lunch with him.
I hired a cab and went to his office. When I entered the office everyone was running here and there. I got confused.
I went to Akshay's cabin, knocked, and entered.
"Good morning Akshay," I said cheerily
He looked at me and took a breath of relief
I frowned
"Thank God you came di" I again frowned at him
"What do you mean?"
"You know your husband was being a Hitler these days"
"I don't get it?"
"Didn't you see outside?"
"Yes, actually, I was going to ask you about that. What happened?"
"You are asking me what happened? Ask me what didn't happen? Your husband was a firing machine this month, he was in such a bad mood that he was firing every person who comes in front of him"
I chuckled,
"It's not funny di, he fired 20 employees just because they were a minute late or just made a mistake. He was in a bad mood these days, I wonder why but now you came please handle him" he was scared
I smiled at him. My emotionless monster was coping this way. Now I get it.
"Where is he?"
"In office" I went to his cabin and entered without knocking
"How dare you enter my office without my permission? You are fired" he yelled without looking at me
"Ok then I'll leave" he immediately looked at me and was baffled to look at me
I start to move back when he ran and held my hand
"Where are you going? Come and sit here"
"I'm going back as you fired me from my position so how can I stay"
He narrowed his eyes at me
"No one can free you from your post which is above every person who is present in my life, not even me" I was amazed to hear the answer
He pulled me towards the chair and sat in front of me
"How are you here?"
"Why? Am I not allowed?"
"You never need anyone's permission to come and go anywhere especially here," He said seriously
So to change the topic I said
"I'm hungry let's go have some lunch," I said
"Yes please, anyways someone made me eat boiled vegetables in breakfast" He fake glared
"You deserved it" He narrowed his eyes at me
"And why? "
I didn't say anything
" Look at me," He said seriously so I looked at him
At first, he was just staring into my eyes then he sighed
" You are upset, why? "
"Does it matter? "
"A lot"
"Do you remember what you did last night? " He frowned
"We were at the party, then you went to the restroom, you took long so I start to get worried, I start looking for you and then I saw you dancing with him" his jaw clenched at last line
"After that?"
"I went to the bar and took........." I cut him off
"You drank and was drunk"
"I know"
"You know after drinking what did you do?"
"I wasn't drunk just tipsy and yes I remember everything" I wanted to say more but stopped because first I have to resolve another issue.
I sighed
"Let's go," I said disappointingly and moved out.
We went to a restaurant and ate our lunch, it was quiet as only Ayyan was talking occasionally.
I was thinking about how to start the conversation about moving on.
After eating I told Ayyan to just walk a little. It was difficult but I convinced him.
I don't know when I start to walk without even noticing the way. I also just thinking about everything that happened.
I heard a car horn but I was so into my thinking that I didn't concentrate on it. Suddenly someone pulled me towards him harshly.
"Are you hurt somewhere, show me? " he was checking me to see if I was hurt but couldn't find it.
He kissed my forehead, hugged me, and sighed in relief
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? CAN'T YOU SEE? THE CAR WAS GOING TO HIT YOU MAYA. WHERE ARE ARE YOU LOST? I told you that we will not walk but no you wanted to walk and now you can't even see where are you going. If you don't care about yourself then at least think about me" he was so panicked.
I could see he was so scared.
"I'm fine Ayyan don't worry," I said calmly. He just nodded
"Come we are going home"
"But my office....."
"You are not going," he said sternly
I sighed, I know he is disturbed about the incident so I didn't argue with him. I called my office and told them that I'm taking a half-day.
In the whole ride, he didn't say anything. He was quiet and upset.
Idiot Maya can't you see. What if something happened to you what would have happened to your emotionless monster. I sighed and thought to talk to him at home.
We reached home, he sat on the couch without saying anything.
"I'm sorry, I should have seen where I am going" I sighed
Silence!
"Ayyan" silence
I sighed I think I got only one way to make him talk
I took a deep breath
"I made a decision" he immediately look at me. I smiled now you see me
He rose his eyebrow at me
"About what?"
"About us" he was looking at me without any emotions but still he has fear in his eyes
"After a lot of thinking, I made a decision and I hope you'll agree to it. I want you to respect my decision whatever it is going to be" I said seriously
His face paled
"Can I say something before you announce your decision" I nodded
He took a deep breath
"I know I was a jerk to you, I did things which I shouldn't have but trust me I never felt happy to hurt you even once it hurt me more. I'll respect your decision whatever you made but before taking any decision think about me, about us. We are humans we do mistakes and I did too, so many but I just want you to give me a chance to make everything alright. " I was just staring in his eyes which were only showing sincerity
"You deserve a happy life and I want to be the person to make you the happiest person in this world. I just want a chance to prove myself, to prove that you mean the world to me. You said that you are not my priority but how can I put you on my priority list where many people are present. You are not a choice to put on a list because we never put our life in the priority, it comes naturally to put our lives before everything and you are my life so how can I put you in that list"
"I know I don't get to say that but I'm going to be selfish here please think about me before taking any decision. Give us a chance. Give me a chance to make everything alright, to give you everything you deserve"
"What if I don't want to live with you?" I asked seriously.
"It's your life I don't have the right to make decisions about you but I'll let you do whatever you want to do even if it's letting you go but you will always be the one for me and no one will ever enter my life except you." He said with so much difficulty
"And what if I say I want to spend my whole life with you, what if I don't want to live without you. What if I want to be selfish too"
He looked at me with a beautiful smile which took my breath away
"Then I'll never let you go even if you want to. I'll be the man you want, I will make you so addicted to me that you won't be able to live without me. You are already the Queen of my heart and you'll get everything a queen deserves. Just forgive me this time and accept me please "
I nodded
"Ok" he froze
"I am giving you a chance to mend everything, I'm giving you a chance to mend us. Will you?" He didn't say anything then suddenly ran towards me and hugged me tight
I did the same, I feel relaxed
He pulled away
"Are you sure? I mean you_you are not joking, right? Have you forgiven me? " He was so happy
I smiled and nodded
He hugged me again. He pulled away and start to kiss my face. He kissed my whole face. I giggled
"Your beard is tickling me" He looked amused but still had moisture in his eyes
"Thank you so much, Jaana(life). You don't know how much it means to me. I_i (sighed)" Hugged me tight again
He was muttering thank you again and again. His eyes were moist.
"I promise I'll never let you regret this." I nodded
He swirled me. I laughed and he did too. He put me down and put his head against mine
"My Jaana(life) " We both smiled
"Ok now leave me I have to change" He shook his head and tighten his hold on me
He put his head in my neck.
"But....."
"No, stay like this. It's been so long I hugged you"
"But you hugged me at the road," I said with amusement
"So you are my wife, I can do anything"
"Ok, at least let me change then you can hug me as long as you want. Ok!" He sighed and left me and nodded reluctantly,
"You go and change too," we both went to change
After some time when I came out, I saw Ayyan sitting on the couch. I went near him and sat with him
He looked at me and pulled me towards him so I was in his lap.
My back was touching his front. He put his head in my neck, hands around my waist, and pulled me towards him more.
"What happened?" I asked because he was so quiet
"Ayyan!"
"I_i it just feels so good to have you back. I can't believe you forgave me because what I did to you, I....."
"Sshh, just forget that. Let bygones be bygones. Everything happens for a reason and maybe it happened to make us realize each other's worth in our life. To make us stronger than before "
He was making patterns on my stomach.
"You are not drinking again," I said out of the blue
"Huh?"
"I said you are not drinking again"
"But I drink occasionally"
"I don't know about that just try not to drink again"
"Hey look at me, what happened?" He asked so softly. He made me turn towards him
"I_i just don't like to see you like that" I didn't look at him. He made me look at him
"What happened?"
"Do you remember what was your condition yesterday night?" He frowned
"If you are talking about me apologizing to you while kneeling in front of you then yes I do"
"You shouldn't have done that," I said with a bad face
"It's not wrong to beg for forgiveness while you are wrong"
"It's not wrong to ask for forgiveness but it was wrong the way you did that. I don't like you kneeling. You are my pride and I don't like you bending your head down. I like the way you walk with your head held high and I don't want to see otherwise"
He has a look of admiration, pride, happiness, love, and so many emotions. His eyes become moist and he hugged me
"I'm lucky to have you"
"I know! but please try to leave it" with a wink in start, he nodded
We just sat there in each other's arms and I don't know when it was time for dinner.
I was about to stand up but Ayyan didn't let me
"Let me go It's time for dinner"
"We'll order just stay here," he said huskily while staring at me
"Don't be a child now get up I'm hungry" he pouted
"Don't go na(informal word) stay here"
"At least let me make dinner after that I'm yours"
"You are mine?" He muttered
I smiled and kissed his forehead, he closed his eyes with a sweet smile
"Yes, all yours" he smiled and let me go
I went to the kitchen and starts to make food after some time I felt two hands snaked around my waist and chin on my shoulder
"Mister leave me, I have to make food, go and sit there,"
"Then do na(informal word ) who is stopping you"
"If you'll leave me then I'll do it, how can I do it while you are hugging me like that"
"You do your work and I'll do mine. Now start cooking I'm hungry" he said huskily near my ear. I shivered and I can feel he is smiling
2 can play the same game.
"Why don't you cook? I'm in a mood to eat the food cooked by you,"
"But I'm not in a mood to cook" his hot breath was falling on my bare neck. I turned towards him
"But I want to eat food made by you, please" I pouted and made the most innocent face
He narrowed his eyes at me
"Fine, don't make that face" he sighed and rolled his eyes
"Why?" I said with the same expression
"Shut up" I chuckled
He rolled his sleeves and start to make food, I smirked payback time
I hugged him from back the same way he did to me. He stiffened
"What are you doing Jaana(life)? "
"Nothing, you carry on I'm hungry" I start to make patterns on his stomach area.
"Jaana(life) stop it, you are playing a dangerous game, so sit there and let me make cook" I controlled my laugh
I tiptoed and said huskily in his ears
"What am I doing Aan?" He froze, then turned towards me immediately
He pulled me towards him from the waist
"Say that again" I frowned
"What?"
"My nickname please," he said lowly
"Aan!" He smiled and kissed my nose
He pulled away and made me sit on the slab
"Now sit here and don't move" he fake glared at me
I chuckled and start to stars at him
"I'll get a hole if you'll stare at me this hard," he said with amusement
"My husband, my choice. You cook I'm hungry " he chuckled and kissed my forehead
I know why is being too touchy. We almost lost each other.
After that I let him cook food. We served it on the table. We ate in silence. After eating, we both went to sleep.
I was going to my room when I saw Ayyan standing a little far trying to say something. I frowned at him
"What happened? Do you want to say something?"
"I_i ahm can_can we stay in the same room." I looked at him
"It's_its ok if you don't want to. I can understand I mean I never gave you any reason........"
"Let me change then I'll come" he grinned and went to the room.
I changed and went to his room too. He was sitting on the bed thinking about something. I went to bed and laid there.
Ayyan was continuously looking at me.
"What! Come on lay down I'm sleepy" he laid there.
We both laid there but couldn't sleep. He was just changing his sides
Why are we so awkward? It's not the first time we are sleeping together.
I move towards him and cuddled with him. He stiffened but then he put his hands around me pulling me closer.
"You don't need to be so awkward with me. We are starting over but that doesn't mean we need to be this awkward around each other." He smiled, put his hands around my waist, and hugged me tightly. He put his head in my neck and sighed.
"This is my home. I missed this so much. I missed us so much " I smiled, put my hands around him, and snuggled into him.

This was my last thought when sleep consumed me.
