{3rd person Pov} [Past Flashback]
11-yearold [Y/n] was in her grandmother's room playing the violin for her once she finished she put the violin back in it's suitcase and hid it under her grandmother's bed "That was a lovely performance [Y/n]." her grandmother said [Y/n] eye's light up and smiled happily "Thank you grandmother." [Y/n] said as she hugged her "Now run along my little killer. You don't want your mother to get upset now do you?" [Y/n] shook her head no and walked off shutting the door behind her. She dropped her smile and went back to her serious face as she made her way downstairs "There you are, I was about to start looking for you but it seems you already knew that." 15-yearold Illumi said as he patted [Y/n]'s head they waked over to the study room and Illumi opened the door "This will be your new study partner since the last one was a waste. And we both don't want that to happen again, right?"
"Yes." [Y/n] said as she looked up and noticed a boy with brown hair and green eye's look up at her "Huh? Ah!"
Illumi left the study-room shutting the door behind him "Present yourself." [Y/n] said as the young boy looked up from his book facing [Y/n] "I-I'm Zenzo Akira! I believe your [Y/n]?" the boy named Zenzo said [Y/n] nodded and walked over to him cupping his cheek's. Zenzo blushed while [Y/n] inspected his face "You decided to be my study partner?...You must really hate living right?" she asked Zezno looked in disbelief and shook his head no "N-No! I love living! W-Why would you ask tha-"
"Enough talking and let's just study." [Y/n] said as she un-cupped his cheek's and pulled out a chair for herself sitting next to Zenzo "So what are we studying?" she asked "Oh, It's biology so we might need to do some outside work for this but as long as your ok with it...are you ok with it?" he asked [Y/n] nodded and grabbed a biology book and started reading it after hour has passed Zenzo felt something on his shoulder "Plants? do you admire them?" [Y/n] asked causing Zenzo to stiff a little "Oh, you scared me also yes I do admire them! but only the poisonous types any other plant and those are just worthless to me." Zenzo said as he showed a picture of a poisonous flower to [Y/n] "This is Lix of Oath. Because it deceives the eye." Zenzo said in excitement "Huh...Explain."
"Of course! The Linx of Oath or Linx for short is a type of flower that has poisons leaves growing out of it, people say that it can cause great pain to those that touch it with there bare hand's or death if it's ever consumed. A-And it's the best flower out there!" Zenzo said he then looked over at [Y/n] seeing her write something down on a piece of paper "You said it was Linx correct?" she asked Zenzo nodded and [Y/n] hopped off her chair and walked over to the bell-ringer, grabbing the rope and ringing the bell after 5minutes have passed the door opened reveling Gotoh "Yes?" he asked [Y/n] handed him the piece of paper and Gotoh read it "I want you to get that flower for me. Zenzo say's it's poisonous and I want it." [Y/n] said Gotoh nodded and smiled "Yes my snowflake." he said as he left the study-room shutting the door behind him "Scary- Wait snowflake?!" Zenzo said a little confused "He's Gotoh we got him two year's ago and he's the only butler that I allowed to call me by any name he want's so he chose snowflake due to my hair being white. Also he's the second person I trust since he can keep secrets from my mother." [Y/n] said as she walked over to Zenzo and sat next to him
"Second? who's your first?" he asked [Y/n] looked around the room and gestured Zenzo to come closer. Zenzo leaned closer to [Y/n] letting her whisper in his ear "My grandmother but don't tell big brother that nor my parents." she whispered Zenzo nodded "But why can't we tell the-" Zenzo was cut off by [Y/n] covering his mouth with her hand "Because if my parents found out then I'll get in big trouble. Also brig brother is scary." she said as she let go of Zenzo "Alright I won't tell anyone." he said until he notice [Y/n] prick her thumb with a needle "I want you to promise." she said handing Zenzo the needle he nodded and prick his thumb they both place there thumb's together sealing the promise "Father say's this is a better way to seal a promise." [Y/n] said Zenzo nodded and looked down at this thumb "Promise." he said under his breath as a small smile formed on his face
---four month's later---
Zenzo was sitting on the staircase of the garden as he waited for [Y/n] to finish training Killua and Alluka "Can we speak for a moment?" Illumi asked from behind startling Zenzo "Ah! Oh, y-yeah of course." Zenzo said Illumi nodded and walked down the stair's and onto the grass it was quiet for a moment until Illumi spoke "You like my little sister, don't you?" Illumi asked still not facing Zenzo "W-W-What?!"
"Don't play dumb with me Zenzo. We both know deep down you love her and I wanna know why is that?" Illumi asked as he turned around and slowly walked over to Zenzo "I-I...well you see...ah,"
Illumi was about to hit Zenoz until he spoke up "I like her because she's pretty and smart!" Zenzo shouted but then covered his mouth and blushed red as a tomato. Illumi hummed in response and turned around seeing [Y/n] walking over to them he smiled "You didn't even have to hear me call you name. why is that?" Illumi asked [Y/n] stopped at her track's and looked up at Illumi emotionless "I had a hunch." [Y/n] said Illumi patted [Y/n]'s head and walked off leaving Zenzo and [Y/n] alone in the garden "Meanie." [Y/n] said under her breath Zenzo stood up and rubbed [Y/n]'s back with one hand "More like scary." Zenzo said with a weak chuckle "Yeah scary. Anyways shall we head inside? or would you like to stay out here?" [Y/n] asked "We could stay out here." Zenzo said [Y/n] nodded. They we're reading book's in silence for a moment until Zenzo spoke up "Are you going to kill me?" he asked nervously "Do you have a reason to see death?" she asked still not taking her eye's off the book as she turned another page "N-No."
"Well then there's your answer." Zenzo placed his book down on this lap causing [Y/n] to look up at him in confusion "Is something the matter?" she asked "Well...I just wanted to know if we we're to you know...get married would you be alright with that?" he asked [Y/n] laid down onto the grass unfazed at Zenzo's question "Depending if my parent's want that or not. I'm not allowed to chose who I wanna marry." [Y/n] said "Oh...ok."
---One Month later---
"W-What?!" Zenzo said in shock as his father's response "It's arranged Zenzo, you are now [Y/n] Zoldyck's fiancé. Mess this up and I will force you to marry someone else." his father said sternly "Yes father." he said Zenzo's father nodded until there maid walked into the dining room "My apologies for coming here unannounced but your son's carriage is ready." the maid said with a bow. Every servant in the Akira manor feared Zenzo's father but sort of hated Zenzo due to him almost resembling his father. Once Zenzo made it to the Zoldyck manor he froze in fear when he noticed an enormous hound with purple fur staring at him "Mikey!" he heard [Y/n] shout the hound's name Mikey walked over to [Y/n] and sat down in front of her lowering his head "Greeting's again Zenzo." [Y/n] said while petting Mikey's head "H-Hello [Y-Y-Y/n]." Zenzo said shakenly "Shall we head inside before you catch a cold?" [Y/n] asked Zenzo nodded and walked over to [Y/n] clinging onto her hand once [Y/n] stop petting Mike they made there way to her manor "Mother and Father already told me about the arrange and that we should get married once we're 19 or 20." [Y/n] said unfazed "A-And your alright with this?" he asked [Y/n] sighed and let go of Zenzo's hand and reached in her pocket pulling out a vial with a flower on it and handed it to him "What's this-...You got me a Linx flower?" Zenzo asked while inspecting the vial in amazement "Of course you said you liked it so I got it for you." [Y/n] said "But I didn't get you anythi-"
"You came didn't you?" she asked Zenzo looked up and was surprised seeing [Y/n] give him a gentle smile "Yeah...yeah I did come."
