It's been a day after Midoriya got into an internship, and on the first day it wasn't too special. Just knowing what the Crust Hero Agency does and did a little patrol with the Pro Hero. The same can be said today but there was something else that caught Izuku's attention. Crust said that the two of them will be heading to a meeting for a mission involving certain drugs.
After school finished, he left with Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Kirishima for their internships. When the rest of the class rest in the lodge after completing today's exercise of knowing haki. Training with Midoriya is hard, considering that he is the only teacher for Class A & B, and he is a student.
During training there are two parts for Haki. The first part is Observation where the class would just meditate for 15 minutes and then get into pairs of two and have one put on blind folds while the other hits them with a club and swapping roles. And the other part is armament haki, aka the roughest part of the training. They had to constantly fight against not only each other but also Midoriya as well to better strengthen their haki, even though it's not showing.
But that's not the only thing he did for his classmates. As he promised, he teached some of the students that wished to learn martial arts. He taught them the small stuff like grappling and kung fu as a starter, but he would teach them a couple of the Rokushiki techniques. They were pleased with the fast results of their training.
Now let's get back to Class A as they are relaxing at some shows or doing their homework. After 20 minutes after the work study students left Mina came down with a bag for a disk for everyone to see.
Mina grinning: Hey guys!
Kaminari: Hey, what do you have in the bag?
Mina: Midoriya's music collection.
Momo: Mina, why are you going through Midoriya's stuff? What if he gets angry?
Mina: Well he didn't mind us going in last time and listening to his music. So why not listen to them more.
Sero: She does have a point. When he found out he wasn't mad at us. So maybe he wouldn't again.
Iida: Alright. We could listen to some of them.
Mina excited: Great, Let's get Class B in here too.
Toru curious: Why are you bringing them here?
Mina: Why not! We can enjoy listening to them together.
Momo: You know, this can help strengthen our bond between classes.
Mina: Ok then. I'll call Setsuna to bring them.
And with that all of Class B came by to listen to Midoriya's music disks. When they came they took a seat on the floor or couches.
Setsuna: Hey girl! What's up?
Mina: Oh you know, I want to hear Midori singing. Maybe tease him about it.
Tetsutetsu: I hope the guy has some manly music to workout with!
Kirishima: Same bro!
Momo: Alright Listen up! Since there are a lot of people who want to listen to Midoriya's music, I decided to make a wheel with everyone's names on them. So when it lands on your name you get to pick a song we listen to. Agreed.
Everyone: Yep!
After agreeing to this event, Momo spinned the wheel and it landed on Shoji.
Shoji: Ok, let's see what I can find.
He came up to the bag of music disks until he found one he is interested in called 'Can't Hold us Back'.
Kaminari: "Can't Hold us Back". Sounds like a nice song.
Mina excited: Well what are we waiting for, Play it!
Shoji did as requested and put the disk into the CD player and the music started playing.
Return of the Mack
Get 'em, what it is, what it does, what it is, what it isn't
Looking for a better way to get up out of bed
Instead of getting on the Internet
And checking a new hit me, get up
Thrift shop, pimp-strut walkin'
Little bit of humble, little bit of cautious
Somewhere between like Rocky and Cosby
Sweater game, nope nope, y'all can't copy
Yup, Bad, moonwalking, this here is our party
My posse's been on Broadway, and we did it our way
Grown music, I shed my skin and put my bones
Into everything I record to it and yet I'm on
Let that stage light go and shine on down
Got that Bob Barker suit game and plinko in my style
Money, stay on my craft and stick around for those pounds
But I do that to pass the torch and put on for my town
Trust me, on my I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T shit, hustlin'
Chasing dreams since I was fourteen
With the four-track, bussin'
Halfway cross that city with the backpack
Fat cat, crushing labels out here, nah, they can't tell me nothin'
We give that to the people, spread it across the country
Labels out here, nah, they can't tell me nothin'
We give it to the people, spread it across the country
Can we go back? This is the moment
Tonight is the night, we'll fight 'til it's over
So we put our hands up
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Can we go back? This is the moment
Tonight is the night, we'll fight 'til it's over
So we put our hands up
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Kaibara: Damn this guy can rap!
Sero: Make you wonder what types of songs he can play!
Mina grinning: Yeah!
Now, can I kick it? Thank you
Yeah, I'm so damn grateful
I grew up really wanting gold fronts
But that's what you get when Wu-Tang raised you
Y'all can't stop me
Go hard like I got a 808 in my heartbeat
And I'm eating at the beat like you gave a little speed
To a great white shark on Shark Week, raw!
Tell me go up, gone
Deuces, goodbye, I got a world to see
And my girl, she wanna see Rome
Caesar I'll make you a believer
Nah, I never ever did it for a throne
That validation comes from giving it back to the people
Now sing a song, and it goes like
Raise those hands, this is our party
We came here to live life like nobody was watching
I got my city right behind me, if I fall, they got me
Learn from that failure, gain humility
And then we keep marching, I said...
Can we go back? This is the moment
Tonight is the night, we'll fight 'til it's over
So we put our hands up
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Can we go back? This is the moment
Tonight is the night, we'll fight 'til it's over
So we put our hands up
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Like the ceiling can't hold us
And so we put our hands up
And so we put our hands up
Oh, oh, oh, oh...
Throughout this part of the song everyone was bouncing up and down. To those that didn't want to show appreciation to the music, i.e. Bakugou, just tap their feet to the music.
Na na na na, na na na na
Hey-ee ay-ee ay-ee ay ay-ee ay-ee, hey
And all my people say
Na na na na, na na na na
Hey-ee ay-ee ay-ee ay ay-ee ay-ee, hey
And all my people say
Na na na na, na na na na
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
And all my people say
Na na na na, na na na na
Mack-le-eh-eh-eh-eh-more!
Can we go back? This is the moment
Tonight is the night, we'll fight 'til it's over
So we put our hands up
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Can we go back? This is the moment
Tonight is the night, we'll fight 'til it's over
So we put our hands up
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Like the ceiling can't hold us
Shihai: That was nice.
TetsuTetsu: Nice pick man!
Shoji: Glad I picked it.
After a nice moment, Momo spinned the wheel again and it landed on Pony.
Pony: Oh boy, lets see what this #$%^&* got in the store.
Everyone had a sweatdropped by what she said because Monona was making her say something like that for Class A. This resulted in him getting punched in the face by Kendo for making her say that. Then Juzo told her what she just said for everyone.
Pony panicked: Aaa, I'm sorry for saying that!
Koda: Its ok.
Kimori: Yeah, its not your fault. We'll just find someone else for your language problems.
Pony: Yeah
Pony then proceeded on getting a CD in the bag and found one called: 'Only One King'.
Bakugou: ehh, Does the nerd think he can be a king?!
Momo: Well, it doesn't have to be that. He could also mention himself as a leader.
Iida: That could be it.
Bakugou: Whatever! I'll be a king one day!
After the small talk Pony placed the CD to start the music.
As a boy, always knew I'd
One day have the courage to be king
Time flew and I grew up
Now I'm ready for the promise that it brings
You only wanted me to screw up
But that's something that you're never gonna see
Everything that you hoped for
It was only in a dream
Now I go on a roll on the road
And I know that I'm never breaking down
I control all the flow in my soul
Pull the sword out the stone in the ground
She always said it'd be someday
Seeing castles in the clouds
And one way or another
When I step in the room, everybody better bow
So be careful how you talk to me
'Cause there's only one king
And there's only one crown
And there ain't enough room for us both on the throne
So it's 'bout to go down (So it's 'bout to go down)
So you better start running
So you better start running
So you better start running
Because I'm coming right now
'Cause I'm coming right now
Kaminari: Man this rap music is greater than the last one.
Koda: Yeah and I can't wait to see Midoriya as a hero when we all graduate.
Huddled masses talk in whispers
Situation's getting tenser
You should probably pay attention
Boy you know I'm born to win it
Ever since I had the vision
When I speak, my people listen
We could start a new tradition
All the children, men and women (Right now)
Iida: Just like how he brought people after the hero battle training.
Everyone agreed to that but there were a couple of sour patches who didn't want to say anything.
Gather 'round to burn it down
We gon' start the kingdom from scratch
Far too many may take advantage
But it ain't gonna happen like that
Time and time again I wake up and
Enemies might attack, but
All that matters in my opinion
Is that the dynasty lasts
So be careful how you talk to me
'Cause there's only one king
And there's only one crown
And there ain't enough room for us both on the throne
So it's 'bout to go down
So you better start running
So you better start running
So you better start running
Because I'm coming right now
'Cause I'm coming right now
There's only one king
And there's only one crown
And there's only one king
And it's looking like me
So you better start running
So you better start running
So you better start running
So you better start
So you better start
Cause there's only one king
And there's only one crown
And there ain't enough room for us both on the throne
So it's 'bout to go down
So you better start running
So you better start running
So you better start running
Because I'm coming right now
'Cause I'm coming right now
I'm coming right now
I'm coming right now
I'm coming right, coming right
'Cause I'm coming right now
Kamakiri: I'll admit that was nice.
TetsuTetsu: It was really manly!
Kirishima: Yeah bro!
Rin: Ok then who's next.
Momo then spinned the wheel for it to land on Jiro.
Jiro small hinted blush: O-oh nice I'll see what I can find.
Jiro went to the bag unnoticing that some of the girls saw the small blush on her cheeks but shrugged it off. Jiro looked through the bag and found a song called: 'Hymn for the Weekend'.
Juzo: Hymn for the Weekend? Is it some kind of church song?
Ibara: Is it really?
Jiro playing the disc: One way to find out.
Drink from me, drink from me (oh-ah-oh-ah)
Then we'll shoot across the (symphony)
Then we'll shoot across the sky
Drink from me, drink from me (oh-ah-oh-ah)
Then we'll shoot across the (oh-ah-oh-ah)
Symphony
(So high, so high)
Then we'll shoot across the sky
Oh, angels sent from up above
You know you make my world light up
When I was down, when I was hurt
You came to lift me up
Life is a drink, and love's a drug
Oh now I think I must be miles up
When I was hurt, withered, dried up
You came to rain a flood
Mina excited: Wait! Is this a love song?!
The girls quickly jerked up to see if it was true.
So drink from me, drink from me
When I was so thirsty
We're on a symphony
Now I just can't get enough
Put your wings on me, wings on me
When I was so heavy
We're on a symphony
When I'm lower, lower, lower, low
Ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
Got me feeling drunk and high
So high, so high
Oh-ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
I'm feeling drunk and high
So high, so high
(Woo)
(Woo-ooo-ooo-woo)
Oh, angels sent from up above
I feel it coursing through my blood
Life is a drink, your love's about
To make the stars come out
Put your wings on me, wings on me
When I was so heavy
We're on a symphony
When I'm lower, lower, lower, low
The Guys were surprised that Midoriya can make songs that sounded so romantic, while the girls were blushing from the song. But then they realized that there was a female voicing over.
Ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
Got me feeling drunk and high
So high, so high
Oh-ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
I'm feeling drunk and high
So high, so high
Ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
So high, so high
Ah-oh-ah-oh-ah
I'm feeling drunk and high
So high, so high
Then we'll shoot across the sky
Then we'll shoot across the
Then we'll shoot across the sky
Then we'll shoot across the (then we'll shoot)
Then we'll shoot across the sky
Then we'll shoot across the
Then we'll shoot across the sky
Then we'll shoot across the
Kodai is calm yet a bit jealous inside.
Kodai: That was a beautiful song.
Kaminari: Yeah but didn't you guys hear it? There was a girl in it as well.
Mineta: Midoriya, that lucky bastard!
Jiro: It was nice but I'm wondering who she is as well.
Iida: Well we need to ask Midoriya for that. But for now, it would be best to focus on our studies for today.
And with that everyone puts the discs away and spends the day doing some work or doing something else. But the girls in the room are still thinking about who the girl was in the music disc.
-Meanwhile-
In a meeting room, we see Midoriya, Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Kirishima walk in with a bunch of pro heroes in the room as well. But the one that stood out to Midoriya was Nighteye when he saw him.
Both of them thinking: You gotta be kidding me?
