The ride to school was awfully quiet, I think Elle is still angry with me.
Well somebody has to tell her the truth and the truth is 'I missed our bickering'

"I'm Teniola"
"It's been nice having a conversation with you Teni, but I have to go to my class, guess I'll see you later"
"Yeah sure, just be careful"

"Yeah, I had a fight with Channelle"
"Why!? what was the cause?"
"Nothing serious, she was just being melo-dramatic"
"I think it's something serious, common!! You could tell me "
"Okay, I'll tell you. She said the school is weird, she feels something odd about it, she was just blabbing a lot yesterday... Look at the school!!, very beautiful"

Maris still thinks I'm angry with her, maybe I am, maybe I'm not or maybe I just don't have anything to say to her...
The girls aren't in school yet, but somebody is, and she's staring at me like she wants to eat me,
"Hi to you too, seems you're having trouble saying it"
"Hi, Channelle. That's your name right"
"What do you think"
"Well I think it is "
"Okay Vanessa, what do you want"
"Well, I don't want anything, can't I have a conversation with my fellow student?"
"With the way, you were staring at me, I don't think so "
"Whatever, I like your hair"
"Thanks"
"So, you like the school huh?"
"Ermm, The school is pleasant, it's acceptable... I guess"
"Satisfying"
Maybe I'll just ask her the question, it seems we really are conversing

"Something doesn't feel right here, is there by chance anything wrong about the school that you think I should be aware of?"
She chuckled "everything, every little thing is wrong in this school"
"I don't get"
"Not everyone one gets, but you'll have to get it someday"
She continues" something you need to know is our daily prayer in this school and in the world"
"You guys have daily prayer, very thrilling... I didn't take you for the praying type"
"Things you do. It tends to be our daily prayer even after we leave the school"

"Ouch, well aside from that... The school is great and about the 'weird stuff ' everybody feels it, it would fade soon... I gotta go bye"

"And a little reminder, I'm not gonna be nice to you"

"Was that Vanessa?!!"
"Right about time, you guys came to school"
"Was that Vanessa?!!" Amarachi repeated her question

"Last sentence proves she was the one" Janet said
"For a while, I believed she could change" Lami added
"I didn't really believe, but I had faith," Amarachi said
"And why are you guys late"
"Nothing serious"
"Yeah, nothing serious"Janet confirmed
"As much I would love to continue this morning conversation, I need to go to my class before the bell rings," Amarachi said, heading for the door

"I guess you guys heard the question I asked Vanessa"
"We did," Janet said
"And I suppose you want us to answer that question too" Lami added
"Yes, I do "
"Vanessa said it all, and I'm sure it would fade "
Maris was right
"Okay, guess I was just-"
"Exactly, you were just- whatever you wanted to say"
"That's the bell, let's get out of here"
"Assembly here we come"
The principal said something about getting serious with our studies...

Wow, this is big
Right now, I don't know where I'm standing, but it is beautiful and it also seems abandoned... I came to explore
"I love this," I voiced out while trailing my fingers on the wall
Ewwww, the wall is dirty and I just got my fingers dirty

The footstep got louder
Who sent me here, Dora the explorer
There's nothing, no footsteps anymore, could the person have gone?
Phew looks like whoever it was, is gone... I shouldn't be scared, I'm on the school premises, not like somebody is gonna come to kidnap me

"Aaaaaaargh" I screamed, losing my balance in the process falling flat to the floor
"Geez, Christ!! you scared me " I said, standing up and wiping the dirt off my body
"I'm sorry, but you shouldn't be here, It's not safe "
"Well Thanks, you just made it worse"
"Well, I'm Craig"
"I'm Jimmy," Said the one who said 'Hi'
The other looks very familiar
"I'm Jason, Jayden's twin"
"And who's Jayden"
"Oh, your enemy" Jimmy replied
"The person you spilt your drink on and vice versa," Craig added
"Ohhh, no wonder you look familiar," I said
"Yeah, we sure do"
"I'm Channelle"
"Hi Channel," Craig said

"Hi Elle," Jason said
Why do people break my name into smaller pieces!! they sound good tho
"Welcome! to our school!!" Jimmy said with a dramatic effect
I think Jimmy is the funny one
"Thanks, guys"

"Why are you in this part of school?" Craig asked
"Just wanted to explore"
"Yeah, we get the school is big and beautiful, you wanna explore, blah blah blah... This is not the place to explore, Chan" Jimmy said
"I get it, but what could possibly happen. Not like I would get kidnapped right!!"
" Well, the report has shown that People get Kidnapped and Killed!!!" Jason said
Oh My God, I knew it the school is just too off
"He's joking Channel, don't take him seriously"
He looks like he was serious
"Let's get you back to class," Jimmy said
What if it's true
"What if he is saying the truth"
"Of course he's saying the truth," Craig said
I said it,
He continues "Students get kidnapped and killed in schools, in Nigeria! even where there's tight security in those schools"
That wasn't what I was expecting, yeah very sad
"In Summary, be careful" Jason added
"I'm sure you missed Lunch," Jimmy said
"Oh my God, I didn't"
"You did"
"I can't believe it!!"
"Believing is the first step," Jason said
"Let's move it children"
"Be specific Jimmy, Channel is the only child here"
"I'm not a child"

I saw the girls, they saw me. Looks like they started a search
"Where have you been!!??" Janet asked
"I went to explore"
"Explore!!! please don't do that without us"Amarachi warned with an excited expression
"Oh my! I thought you were kidnapped" Lami chipped in
"I was"
"You what!!"Janet Shouted
"Calm down mother hen, I missed Lunch did you guys bring anything for me"
"Sorry, we didn't" Lami dropped the bomb
I looked like I was going to explode
"Why?" my voice was cracking already
"Just joking, we brought you food and snacks," Janet said smiling
Amarachi was laughing "you should have seen your face, you looked like you where going to cry" Lami joined her in laughing
"I was really going to cry"
"And by the way, Maris came to ask for you," Lami told me
"She seemed worried when we told her we hadn't seen you" Amarachi added
"For Christ sake Amara, where you expecting her to smile??"
"I don't know"
I guess I'll just have to let the weird feeling go, and enjoy this moment with friends I've got... That's what I'm gonna do!
