Looking at my reflection in the mirror I gazed at the dress that was fitted to my body. The weightless fabric reached the floor with a small trail flowing behind.
The small pearls scattered over the dress made it even more stunning. Small silver clips were neatly placed into my hair keeping it up and away from my face.
Retrieving the small bouquet of roses that were placed onto the table I held them in my hands. Tiny blue roses were flowering through as a white ribbon had them tightly wrapped together.
"Not long now" one of my friends whispered happily.
Upon hearing a knock at the door my heart began to race. As I watched one of the bridesmaids opened up the door her smile lifted the moment she saw her older brother Taehyung.
Walking inside my smile grew once I caught eye with him. His black tuxedo fitted his body like a glove, he looks so smart and handsome. Memories of the day we met came flooding back.
"Are you all ready?" He asked with a bright smile.
"Yes" my older sister Poppy chimed as she picked up her bouquet of roses.
Looking over to Poppy a huge smile grew onto my face, she was the most beautiful bride.
So you though it was myself and Taehyung getting married, oh no. We have been dating for over five years and he still hadn't asked me to marry him.
We didn't want to rush things, but now, after today I would be the only one out of my friendship group who wasn't a married woman.
I was always the bridesmaid but never the bride.
Being the maid of honour for my wonderful sister and being with her through every dress fitting began to make me think, 'I want to experience this all for myself one day.'
I wanted to know how wonderful it would be to walk down the isle to the person you loved most, how their smile would light up the moment they saw you. Everyone's eyes on you and the lucky soulmate.
"Hey squirt, quit day dreaming and take my train." Poppy called snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes, sorry sis" I chuckled as I held the back of her wedding dress in my hands, Taehyung taking hold of my bouquets as he walked with us.
The moment myself and Poppy saw our father he began to tear up. "You both look absolutely beautiful." Wrapping both of our arms around his body he held onto each of us tightly.
"My babygirl is all grown up." He smiled as he looked over to Poppy.
Gently placing her train onto the ground I began to hear commotion between them both. His smile was so bright that it sent a small pang to my heart.
I hope he looks at me that very same way on my wedding day.
"She looks beautiful" Taehyung whispered as he handed me back my bouquet of flowers. "Couldn't agree more" I replied as I looked over to them, yet I could feel Taehyung's eyes on me.
"Ok is everyone ready?" The wedding planner called as he grabbed all of our attention. Watching as the bridesmaids and groomsmen pair up, myself the maid of honour and Taehyung the best man linked arms with one another.
"You also look absolutely beautiful" Taehyung smiled as he looked down to me. A small smile creeping onto my face as my cheeks grew warm.
"Can't wait to see what you look like on our wedding day" he added.
Watching as the doors opened wide my grip on Taehyung's arm tightened ever so softly. As the music began to play the first pair began to walk down the isle.
"Ready?" He whispered as we took our first steps. Smiles expressed on our lips as we walked down the isle together.
Upon reaching the end i saw my mother standing there with tears in her eyes as wonderful smile formed on her face.
Feeling Taehyung's arm release from mine I quickly snapped out of my small dream.
Oh how I wished it was me getting married.
Standing next to the fellow bridesmaids our smiles grew brighter the moment Poppy and my father walked down the isle.
Looking across my to my further brother-in-law tears fell down his cheeks as he saw Poppy walking toward him, she was an angel.
Once we all got seated the priest began to speak his words. "We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments and to cherish Poppy and Jimin in marriage. The love between you joins now as one."

"Congratulations" I chimed as I ran into Poppy's arms. Her happy laugh echoed throughout the room as we hugged one another. "Welcome to the family Jimin" I smiled as he hugged me. "Can't believe I'm now a Mrs Park" Poppy expressed as she looked down to her wedding ring.
"And I wouldn't have wanted it any other way" Jimin added as he kissed her temple.
"Congratulations" turning aside Taehyung placed his arm over my shoulder as he shook his bestfriends hand.
"Thank you" Jimin and Poppy spoke in unison.
"So when are you putting a ring on y/n's finger?" Jimin asked suddenly causing my eyes to fall open.
"Not for a while yet" Taehyung chuckled.
My smile faded the moment those words escaped his lips, Poppy noticing my sudden sadness.
"I'm just going to...yeah--" removing Taehyung's arm I headed out of the room.
"Y/n" Poppy called as she ran after me. "He was just joking you know that right" I shrugged, "how do you know?" I asked, my voice a little louder then expected.
"Hey, what's going on over here?" our mother called as she approached us. "Nothing mum" I chimed as I showed her a fake smile, yet Poppy looked at me with disbelief. "She's upset that Taehyung hasn't asked her to marry him yet." Poppy admitted making me scold her.
"Hey, I'm not upset" I argued. "Then why did you run away huh?" As I opened up my mouth to talk, no words could be spoken. "Oh darling" my mum cooed. "Today isn't about me, sorry mum, sorry Poppy." I apologised as I walked away from them.
Few Hours Later
Taking a sip of my champagne my father stood to his feet, a microphone in his hand.
Quickly grabbing a piece of cutlery I gently tapped it against the glass, gathering everyone's attention.
"Thank you y/n" my father smiled.
"Before I start I just want to thank you all for being here today. I know it means a lot to Poppy and Jimin, and it means a lot to me too. It's wonderful to see everyone celebrating such a special day.
I suspect that most of you know me, if not I'm Poppy's father and today I'm here to talk about my first little princess and her husband."
Many happy tears were shed as we listened to my fathers speech. Even Jimin shedded a few small tears as he watched his father in law speak about his wonderful daughter.
"Jimin has a heart of gold and is always willing to help those in need. I'm very glad to call you my son-in-law. And lastly I cannot forget my second little princess y/n. She's been such a great maid of honour to her older sister and I'm so glad I have you both."
Poppy's grip on my hand tightened as she looked over to me, our heads resting against one another as our father spoke about us.
"I hope one day y/n you and Taehyung will officially tie the knot." A small cheer ran through the room as I looked aside to Taehyung.
"So if you would all like to raise your glasses" my father calls as everyone in the room follows his gesture. "To Poppy and Jimin, may you have many years of love and laughter as you begin this new adventure."
"To Poppy and Jimin" we all spoke as we held up our glasses.
"He aced that speech" Taehyung smiled as he leaned close to me. "It was something wasn't it" I replied as everyone began to chat amongst themselves.
"Didn't expect him to speak about us though" he chuckled. "Neither, seems like everyone wants us to tie the knot soon huh?" Taehyung nodded without saying a word which made my heart sink, did he not want to ever get married?

"Dance with me" Taehyung yelled over the loud music as he took my hand. Intertwining our fingers he brought me into the centre of the dance floor where all our family and friends were.
"You brought her" Poppy chimed as her and Jimin danced over to us. "Can't not dance at a wedding without my dancing partner" Taehyung replied.
"Just marry one another already" Poppy demanded loudly over the music. "They will once their ready, right Taehyung?" My dad spoke as he send Taehyung a discreet wink, which none of us girls caught onto. "Of course." Taehyung replied.
As the night ticked away myself and Taehyung never left one another's side.
Laughter and love was flowing through us as we danced with one another, his arms wrapped tightly around my waist as mine clung around his neck like a koala does with its mother.
"Did I mention how beautiful you looked today?" He asked as he nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck. "Yes" I replied with a giggle, "you've said that so many times today." "And I shall do so for the rest of the night."
I tutted sarcastically, "do I not look beautiful all the time?" Taehyung rolled his eyes, "today you look beautiful, everyday you look stunning and the day I see you on our wedding day you will look like an Angel."
A bright smile formed onto my lips as the loud music began to die down, a soft song had now began to play through the speakers.
"I know how much you want to get married princess" Taehyung spoke causing myself to pull away from him. "Trust me when I say this baby, i do to but I want to be able to ask you in the right place at the right time. I've never liked the idea of people asking one another at someone else's wedding as it takes the special day away from the bride and groom. Just wait as it will happen when you least expect it."
Kissing my forehead gently he began to sway our bodies back and forth.
I guess I'll just have to wait for that very day
Few Days Later
Unlocking the door to my house a exhausted sigh escaped my lips. Hearing tiny pitter patter of small paws my dog Tucker welcomed me home, his fluffy tail waggling happily.
"Princess your home" Taehyung welcomed with a smile. "Yeah" I mumbled as he brought me into his embrace. "What's wrong?" He asked in concern as he cupped my cheeks.
"I'm just really tired, I think I'm going to take a bath and have an early night."
"No" Taehyung called as I walked past him. "Why?" I asked plainly.
"I-I, well I know you've been working hard on getting this promotion all week so I had a date night planned for you. I just thought it could take your mind off it." A smile lifted on my lips. "That sounds so sweet" resting my head onto his chest i wrapped me arms around his body.
"You can stay as you are, now let's get going." "Wait- baby I can't go out like this." He chuckled, "you look fine now come on, I can't wait any longer."
What's he up to?

"Close your eyes" Taehyung spoke as he drove along the highway. "Why?" I laughed. "Just close your eyes" he repeated. "And put this over them, I don't want you peeking." He said as he threw me a blind fold.
"You aren't taking me to my death are you?" I teased as I placed the blind fold over my eyes. "No" Taehyung scoffed, "if I wanted you dead I would have done that years ago." "TAEHYUNG" I shouted. "Princess I'm joking" he teased.
"Now the road might get a little bumpy so I'm sorry I'm advance" he spoke as he drove off along a small road.
As the car began to slow down and come to a stop my heart began to race. "Tae what are you doing?" I asked but he didn't reply.
Turning off the ignition he got out from the car and came to my side, opening up the door he helped me out. My balance falling to one side the moment I stepped on a small stone.
"Could have at least told me to change my heels." I spoke as we walked along the cobbled grounds.
"I've got you." He whispered.
"Ok, now wait here and don't move and don't remove the blind fold until I say so." Feeling his grip release from mine he jogged forwards.
Feeling nothing but air I called for his name, "Tae, where did you go?" Silence, "Tae?" Silence, "Ok I'm taking this off."
Removing the blind fold I decided to call his name one last time. "Tae we're have--"
There he was, Taehyung down on one knee with a blue box in his hands.
My chest grew heavy, my hand came up to my mouth in shock, yet excitement.
"Princess" he spoke as I walked over to him.
"Five years ago you captured my heart. You are the most sweetest, most loving and compassionate woman I've never met. You've been my bestfriend through the good and the bad, you are the reason for my smile. You've believed in me when no one else did, you have shown me how to love. You will always be the best part of my day. Will you marry me?"
Tears fell down my cheeks as I nodded in acceptance. Placing the ring onto my finger Taehyung stood to his feet, pulling me up and into a loving hug.
I knew from this day that no matter where we were or what the situation would be we would always have eachother.
