Crap. I had fucked up big time. I walked out in search of the guys. I needed some advice. I found Lando, Charles and Pierre standing outside talking.
"Great just who I was looking for." I said as I jogged up to them
"Hey. What's up?" Charles asked
"I really fucked up with Y/N." I said
"How come?" Lando asked
"Well do you remember 2 weeks ago when I scored my first points for Williams?" I asked
"Yeah, why?" Charles asked
"Well, me and my team we out that evening to celebrate and I got a bit too drunk and didn't notice this girl, a fan, dancing closer and closer to me until she kissed me." I replied
"What?" Pierre said
"Yeah. I pushed her off and left right after and I didn't tell her about it and now someone's posted a picture of it and tagged her so now she's seen it and said we are over." I said
"Still, you did fuck up. Especially after what she has been through." Lando said
"I know that's why I need your help. What do I do to get her to forgive me?" I asked
"I don't know if you can." Pierre said
"I mean tell her the truth but like Pierre said I'm not too sure you can." Charles said
"God I am an idiot." I said
"Yep." Lando replied
I glared at him. I know but he wasn't meant to agree with me
"I don't even know if she will talk to me for me to explain to her." I said
"Well, if she spoke to Lewis, which she no doubt has he would have talked her into seeing you." Charles said
"Yeah, so I should head back in case she comes looking for me." I said
"Yeah. Hope all goes well for you." Pierre said as I started jogging away
"Yeah, thanks, guys," I shouted back
I headed back and changed before there was a light knock at the door.
"Come in." I said
"You have 5 minutes to explain." She said walking in and sitting down
"Right ok. Well, I'm so sorry it was such a stupid mistake. After scoring my first points for Williams we all decided to go out and celebrate and I had a little too much and didn't notice this girl getting closer to me until she kissed me. I pushed her away and left as soon as I realised." I said
"But not before someone was able to take a picture." She stated
"Yeah. Not quick enough as it seems. I left so bad after it and regret it so much." he said
"Where you going to tell me?" she asked
"I thought about it but knew how you would react." I replied
"So, you thought you would just keep it from me forever, I thought you were better than that George but I guess not. Just like last time you only admit to it because you got caught." She shouted at me now stood up
"I thought I was doing what was best for you." I replied
"What was best for me!" she shouted "and how do you know it would have been. I guess we won't know what would have happened. This doesn't change anything." She said
"Please you haft to trust me and know I would never intently want to hurt you and will never hurt you again." I said
"Trust you. I don't think I can." She said and started to walk towards the door
"Y/N wait." I said grabbing her hand "we can work through this; I knew we can." I said
She looked at our hands and pulled away
"I don't think we can." She said "bye George." She said quietly before leaving my room and closing the door behind her.
She sounded too final then. I sat down. This is not what I needed before quali. I couldn't think about anything but her and how much I had hurt her. The sadness in her face, her eyes. I wanted to make it up to her and get her back, but I didn't know how to.
