Summer's fingers ran through a few strands of hair as she pushed some behind her ear
The morning sun had beckoned upon her skin and fluttered through her room, making what was dark turn to halo gold
The girl's smile had been etched on her face since she opened her eyes
"Morning losers" Summer grinned as she approached the people who's bloodline she shared
Her father lowered his newspaper a bit, only allowing his eyes to show as he raised a brow at the girl
Never had he seen the girl give a genuine smile, especially being in the house of mental horror
Aka her latino family
"Good Morning Summer" He said, falling back into his paper
"It surely is" The raven hair girl grinned
"Why do you say that?"
"Because I get to ride Melanie's gearshift" Summer muttered
"Huh?"
"I get to ride in Melanie's car" The girl said
"Is she picking you up?" the man asked
"Yep"
"That's good, nice to see your friendship is growing"
Summer held back her snicker that she wanted to release. Friendship, yes. Ofcourse. A friendship where she wanted to rail the other girl until the blood of Jesus reigned down and sent them to hell so they could continue pounding each other's brains out
"I knew taking you to church would give you some perspective, it's nice to see you're among good influences" The man added
Good influences. Little did he know that his daughter was a gay gremlin, walking the earth and spreading the seeds of straight woman confusion
Atleast she was trying to help Melanie turn the light on in the closet much less come out of it
"Yeah, sure homeboy" Summer playfully rolled her eyes
The girl headed off towards the front door, not caring to see her mother approaching from the kitchen area. It was best to start the day with negativity
Aka her mother.
"Summer, make sure yo-" and with that, the door was slammed shut and the woman's words was left behind the toxic gossip train
The street breathed through the trees and the people, as if they were in a strange conversation of sorts, one of the emotions
It was the colours and the sounds, the bustle and the quiet space, a million weaved moments so transient and real
Her neighbours walked by, those hustling about their daily lives while the girl stood on her porch
Her hands shoved into her jacket's pockets as she breathed in a deep breath, bringing herself to the tip of her toes then exhaling to bring herself back down
The street had a wideness that she loved. It was open and reminded Summer of walks in the park in the days when she could barley ride a bicycle
She loved the cracked sidewalk and the way the cats stalk about, the owners of all they survey
Her eyes ate up the green leaves above and the air like a soft kiss from the earth. Houses line the street, each one a sleepy kingdom, each one somebody's sanctuary
Summer smiled softly. Though the newspapers blew about the street she paid them no mind
A familiar red jeep was approaching the street which brought her smile up to some degrees
The girl walked out towards the driveway, watching as the vehicle stopped right in the alley
"Hey hot stuff" Summer smirked, greeting the brunette
Melanie simply rolled her eyes and fixed her attention back towards the road, awaiting Summer to find her way into the car
The raven hair girl chuckled as she slipped into the passenger side of the vehicle and closed her down shut
"Who's got your panties in a bunch?" Summer grinned
"The fact that I'm late for an assembly because I have to pick you up" Melanie glared
"You love my company"
"Let me guess, my eyes told you that?" The girl scoffed
"Yes ma'am" Summer grinned
"Idiot" Melanie groaned, her feet pressed against the gas so hard, you'd think it was Millie brown when she sees a flock of gays
Fallen brown crusted leaves left their trees and flowed with the gently wind, cascading down to the car
A few leaves whistled by against the windows as their shadows towered over the road
Summer's eyes landed on the girl once again and for some reason she couldn't peel them off
Melanie's lips were stained with a pink glossy chopstick which made them look gently as a warm pink petal. A craving started within as her eyes roamed over the girl's honey sweet lips
They then wondered over the crinkle of her small nose, making the brown dotted spots of freckles move in sync, Summer couldn't help but smile at the few movements
Her butterfly eyelashes fluttered, revealing the warm brown coffee bean orbs, the morning gold rays glowed on the beans and created a mixture so intoxicating that Summer's heart twitched in her chest
"Why are you staring at me?" Melanie questioned
"Because you're beautiful" The raven hair girl whispered
Light brown skin turned a bright shade of red as the girl folded her lips in attempt to hide her small smile
"Stop flirting with me"
"I can't help myself with you" Summer whispered
Her eyes fell over the girl's honey pink lips once again, feeling a demand take over her
"Can you stop looking at me" The brunette chuckled
"Why?"
"Because.. I can't.. Focus" she muttered
Summer finally broke away from her little trance as she chuckled lightly
"So you can't focus when my eyes are on you? Sounds kinda gay to me" The girl laughed
"No. It sounds like you're distracting me"
"If I really wanted to distract you, I'd do it in other ways" Summer whispered, glancing over to the girl
"Like what?" Melanie raised a brow
"You sure you want me to do that?" Summer chuckled
The brunette scrunched her face as she furrowed her brows
"I have no idea how you can possibly distract me like that so go right ahead-"
The brunette's breath hitched in her throat at the sudden feeling of fingers gripping her inner thighs
A fluttering sensation filled her stomach as the sudden motion made her senses tingle
But with the tingle came a jolt of adrenaline, Melanie's foot stomped harshly against the brake in those few seconds as she was left paralyzed under Summer's touch
An earful of horns blazed behind her, those yelling at the girl for her sudden stop in the middle of the road
A stroke of Summer's fingers on her inner thighs sent her emotions in a mix, a tingling shot down to her center as she swallowed a lump in her throat
"Summer" The brunette whispered
"Yes?" the raven hair girl smirked
"I'm going to kill you"
Summer's fingers squeezed around the girl's skin, sinking her nails into her thighs as she dragged them along the girl's skin
Each second that passed by left a red mark on the girl's tan skin, her nails drugged along the area and marked into the girl's thighs, making Melanie's head spin
Her eyes shut tightly as she inhaled a deep breath in attempt to control her breathing
"I thought you wanted me to distract you" The raven hair girl smirked
"Summer!"
"Alright alright, I'll stop" Summer chuckled, removing her fingers from the girl and settling back into her seat
A smirk was left on her face but she knew that glare was coming towards her any second now
Melanie's foot finally pressed against the gas as the car started to move again
But as she expected, eyes were on the side of her face
"YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN US KILLED"
"And you could have got some" Summer wiggled her brows
The girl's narrow eyes still hadn't left the side of Summer's face, her brain worked like a computer coding with all of the PG curse words she could scream at the girl
"Idiot"
