"I don't know where you live" Melanie muttered
"Then drive around and I'll tell you when to stop" Summer smirked
"Summer" the girl said in a deep voice, turning her eyes to face her
"Yes baby?" The raven hair girl asked, simply making the girl roll her eyes
"Why must you be difficult?"
"You love that about me"
"I don't know who's told you that"
"Your eyes-"
"Here we go again" Melanie chuckled
"But it's true, your eyes hold your truth" Summer mumbled
"And yours hide pain" Melanie muttered under her breath
"What?" the girl asked
"Nothing" Melanie said
Summer raised a brow as she glanced over at the girl
"You look sexy when you driv-"
"Oh my God Summer are you ever going to stop"
"I'll stop when you marry me"
"Ew"
"Says the girl that almost got railed three hours ago" Summer smirked
"What is... Railed?" Melanie asked
"Fucked hardcore-"
"Oh god-"
"It amazes me how you don't know these things" Summer chuckled
"My father doesn't like the internet"
"The fuck?" Summer raised a brow
"His ass needs some baddies west in his life"
"I feel like an outsider sometimes when I hear you speak" Melanie mumbled
"Why's that?"
"Makes me feel like an alien from Mars that came to earth and is trying to learn the way of life"
Summer nodded slowly as her eyes ran over the girl, her fingers then went towards her navigation system as she typed in her address for the brunette
"So you don't use anything from the internet?"
"He has a computer in his office at home, he allows me to use it for research for whatever project I have or to make a few posters for the church"
"That's still limited, have you been on anything else besides Google?"
"...um... I think there's a red button app that had videos"
"Dear God, you weren't a cocomelon kid!?"
"It's not my fault" Melanie chuckled
"God we need to fix that, right away" Summer laughed
"How?"
"Does he go through your phone?"
"No, he has no reason to"
"Well look at you being a good girl for daddy, that's the freaky shit I love to hear" Summer smirked
"Ew"
"Atleast you understand that" Summer laughed
"I've been around you for a while, I think I'm starting to understand some things you say"
"Give me your phone" the raven hair girl said
"It's in my pocket" Melanie mumbled
Summer glanced down to see the girl's phone barley hanging out of her side pocket from across her
A smile slowly appeared on her lips as she started to reach her hands over the gear stick
Her fingertips lightly grazed over Melanie's thigh, slowly dragging against the girl's skin before her hand clasped down on the girl's thigh
Melanie's hands tightened around the steering wheel as she exhaled a deep breath, slightly tilting her head backwards
"What are you doing" Melanie whispered
"Getting you phone" Summer smiled
Her fingertip then started to trail along the girl's thigh towards her pocket before hooking her fingers around the device
To her surprise, Melanie hadn't chewed her head off yet. In fact, her cheeks started to run a slight shade of red as she bit her lip
Her eyes glanced away from Summer, avoiding the girl's stare
The raven hair girl simply chuckled as she brought the device between her hands
"I'll set you up with a plan, I want you to use it and feel free to explore whatever you want to. But please. And I mean please. Use incognito mode when you're watching porn-"
"Ew what the heck Summer" Melanie hissed
"I'm just saying" The raven hair girl chuckled
"It is utmost disgusting to see people do that for money"
"I never expected you of all people to judge others, especially with the things you preach" Summer muttered
"My father said its a disgusting sin to sell the body of the lord for fame"
"Yo daddy need a bigger size magnum-"
"Huh?-"
"It's a job Melanie, it's a job that pays and people are entitled to do whatever they want with their own bodies" Summer stated, glancing over towards the girl
Melanie stayed quiet as her brows furrowed together
"I don't know what they've been force feeding you but your body is yours, it doesn't belong to anyone but yourself. Never allow anyone to tell you differently" the raven hair girl added
"Somethings are difficult to understand" Melanie mumbled
"Why's that?"
"Because what I know is the complete opposite of what you tell me and I don't know who to believe" Melanie said
"Listen Melanie, I'm not trying to come between you and your religion. But I'm trying to make sure you know certain things aren't viewed that way. Sometimes it feels like you're so closed off with these things you've learned and followed that you don't even realize outside of it is totally different. I get it, it must be really hard for you to understand these 'new' things but to be honest Melanie, it's never been new... You've just been born into a different way of learning" Summer said
Words had a way of slamming into her hearts and completely changing the way our emotions react. Melanie furrowed her brows as she felt a small grasp around her heart
"So... It's normal do... Do those things?"
"It's their choice, I find it empowering what they do"
"Why's that?" Melanie asked
"Because the world is so against it yet they manage to be so strong and do what they want to do. I think people are angry with themselves because they followed what others convince them to do. Eventually they see others living a life that's outside of their boundaries and it makes them mad. They just hate and hate, trying to pull others down when in reality they just needed a bit of education"
"Sounds oddly familiar" Melanie mumbled
Summer then signed as she turned her body to face the girl's
"Religion aside, why is it that you have a problem with other people living their lives?" Summer asked
"I... Um" Melanie mumbled as her brows stitched together
"There's a balance that needs to be maintained"
"You mean a balance that society normalized?" Summer asked
Another stabbing question pierced into Melanie's mind as she pulled her brows even tighter together
"We as a people followed 'rules' they created. They see anyone that goes beyond that as rebels, outcasts, such terrible people when in reality people are just being themselves"
"It's... Like a comparison between a while ago and now?" the girl asked
"Exactly. The world is growing while some people want to stay behind. We grow in age, we should grow with our mindsets too" Summer said
"Then what about murder-"
"Sweetheart that's just downright illegal" Summer chuckled
Melanie shook her head smiling as she turned her wheel into the drive way of the street
Somethings Summer had had hit her, as if an arrow of clarity struck into her soul and washed away some part of her
It doesn't kill to be a decent person. Some people are simply hateful because of the fact that others are being different
Others are stepping out of that mental boundary that society placed to keep an 'order'
Sometimes we needed to sit back and think about the fact that we were all humans, given a life to live as we chose
It will forever be the one reason we are here. To be ourselves, not what someone else hand picked
From the smallest things like our parents deciding what our career paths should be, to them wanting to decide who we should marry
Our life was our choice and Melanie was slowly started to get that
But there was still more that needed to be done with the girl
Especially with her journey or learning
The car then came to a halt as the two girls glanced over to the house
"Well, this is me" Summer smiled
"Don't get accustomed to this" Melanie glared
"You still have to pick me up tomorrow" Summer smirked as she slipped out of the car
Melanie's eyes widened as they started to follow along the girl's figure disappearing around the car
"What?" she asked
"Well I have no ride to take me to school tomorrow annndddd you're the one that kidnapped me from going to my car" Summer smirked
The girl stood in front of Melanie's side window as she leaned against the frame with a smile
Melanie on the other hand had a cold dead shot glare piercing into the raven hair girl's face
"Seriously" she groaned
"Seriously sweetheart" Summer grinned
"Goodbye Harlow" Melanie rolled her eyes
"Waiiiittt, aren't you going to kiss me goodbye?" Summer gave a small pout
Her soft pink lips curled downwards and Melanie's heart did a flat line at the sight. She melted in her own booths as her eyes ran over the girl's lips
"N-no" The brunette attempted to hiss but came out as a stutter
"Then I'll be sad all night" Summer chuckled
"That's not my problem" Melanie glared once again
"Here's your phone, I hope you have fun exploring the dark web and Instagram" The raven hair girl chuckled, sliding the girl's phone into the car
"Thank you" the brunette mumbled
"Anything for my wife" She grinned
"In your dreams Harlow"
"In my dreams you're much more than my wife" the raven hair girl said
Melanie furrowed her brows at Her
"What am I?"
"Guess we'll find out in another episode of keeping up with the lesbians"
