3rd person's POV
Maybe we'll never date after all...
Marcy couldn't help but think about how their friendship could be quite possibly ruined.
Marcy kept walking aimlessly, she didn't want to go back to the Plantar house and get friendzoned by Anne again, or worse, ignored.
Marcy turned a few corners before she bumped into someone.
She fell to the ground and the other person dramatically sighed.
Marcy looked up and saw her friend Maddie.
Marcy immediately jumped up and said. "Maddie!"
She hugged the short frog and Maddie grimaced at the affection.
"Gross." Maddie muttered after Marcy pulled away.
Marcy laughed and put her hand in the air before putting it back down.
Marcy smiled until she thought about the reason she was out here in the first place and her smile dropped.
Maddie noticed and she raised an eyebrow.
"What's got the usually happy Marcy down?" Maddie asked.
Marcy looked up at her and shook her head frantically.
"What? Me? Down? No! I'm not sad! I'm great!" Marcy lied with a fake smile.
"Hmm." Maddie said before circling around Marcy.
Marcy looked at her confused and Maddie stopped in front of her.
"Someone made you sad."
"What? How did you-" Marcy said but quickly cut herself off.
"So, I was right. You're sad because of someone."
Maddie crossed her arms and said. "Why'd you lie?"
Marcy nervously smiled and said. "No reason."
"If someone has you sad, I need to know, so I can punish them." Maddie said with a serious face.
Marcy looked at her in horror before saying. "You're not serious, are you?"
"Nah."
Marcy let out a sigh in relief, she may have had a fight with Anne, but she didn't want Anne to get hurt or something.
"I'm deadly serious." Maddie said with an evil grin.
Marcy shook her head and said. "Maddie! No!"
Maddie sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Fine."
"But, since you don't know much people here, I'll figure it out on my own."
Marcy frowned at that.
"Hmm, was it Sprig? Hop pop? Polly? Sasha?"
Marcy didn't react to any of the names so Maddie tried to name someone else.
"Anne?"
Marcy's unfazed face dropped and she frowned slightly.
"Bingo." Maddie said and walked past Marcy.
Marcy followed her confused.
"Where are you going?"
"The Plantar's house." Maddie said.
