The last day of our week rolled up and I was actually so excited to see her school uniform, it looks so hot on her- literally.. The fall/winter uniform is all sweaters and slacks- and the one for spring/summer is a generic short sleeve button up with a blazer she'll never use and a thinner pair of skinny jean type slacks. I immediately stole the longsleeve sweater and slipped it on, luz replacing it with the button up, she giggles knowing I have to give it back one day
"You can't keep it forever love.. I'd be in so much trouble with mom"
I smile burying my mouth and cheeks in the sleeves, shaking my head no. Suddenly I'm being pressed onto her bed, the sweater being pulled off me as both of us laugh.
"And you'll be in so much more trouble with me~"
She adds teasingly, stopping to where the sleeves are holding my hands hostage above my head to place a couple kisses on my lips, I smile as she parts and pulls the sweater completely off me, throwing it onto her backpack to go back to caging me in.
"If this is what it's like to be in trouble...I wouldn't mind stealing your sweater every weekend~"
She bites the inside of her cheek seeing she had most likely worded it wrong, I snicker lovingly gripping the collar of her sweater vest and pull her in so our noses touch.
"Cat got your tongue luz?? You're awfully quiet~"
I tease her in a loving mischievous manner, her face hardens as I stare into her eyes her cheeks flushed red.
I smirk to her increasing blush, muttering gently
"I love you luz"
And pull her into a kiss her tense demeanor vanishing into thin air as I slip my hands to her shoulders, to her neck, and resting comfortably at her hair my fingers intertwined in her soft short hair. She parts from me and whispers
"Only on Saturdays and Sundays..."
Before returning to me, her passion so soft my mind goes blank only focused on her- and not the opening door behind us.
"What is going on here?!"
Lilith's voice fills the room, luz jumps up her whole face coated in a strawberry red blush and jerks her head to lilith, resting on my arms with a slight blush to my cheeks still feeling blank-minded I start slowly blushing more and more suddenly realizing the adult in the doorway.
"N-NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS LILITH!"
Luz spits out in a loud tone, I hide my face in my shirts sleeves and groan. Luz jumps off the bed to go stand in front of lilith luzes expression angry, lilith crosses her arms.
"This is my room...that is my girlfriend- it is my business! Get out!"
And an argument sparks up within the two, I slowly pick up my bag to leave but I can't with the door being blocked. I look guilt etching my expression at my feet as luz grips her hair to eda who has come to diffuse the situation
"Hey what's the matter here kid??"
I grip the edging of my shirt as luz says in a calm tone
"Apparently I can't be 16 and spend time with my girlfriend- decreed by previous emperors coven head lilith clawthorne"
There's an awkward shuffling of a dress most likely lilith's, the tension in the air making my heart jump into my throat and my eyes water. Eda groans angrily at her sister, her heel snapping a loud thud onto the hardwood floor.
"Lilith you need to go take a long walk-"
I can hear lilith go to backtalk like a child when eda says sternly
"NOW!-"
looking up I quickly snap my head back down to look at the flooring as lilith storms down the stairs, luz looks at me and her tone immediately changes
"A-ami?? Are you-"
I shake my head roughly no to stop her from talking
"I think I should go.."
I mutter and slip out the doorway, down the stairs, and out the door.
Luz worriedly rushes down the stairs to catch me
"Ami wait!"
But I'm already down the stone path and heading home. Cutting a left to the forest path I look at the flowers littering the pathway, I feel less stressed as I go further into the wood.
Turning around when I hear a pair of footsteps running to me I sigh when I see luz half out of breath, her breath excaping in heavy wheezes.
"Im sorry..."
She manages to whisper, my face falls as she starts choking as if she's hyperventilating, then my eyes widen. Gripping luzes shoulder softly my other hand wrapping around her waist she looks at me from the side her eyes glistened with tears as she struggles to get air into her lungs. She looks away from me her tears falling onto the dried pine needles, her nails digging at her neck to hopefully get some air in
"Luz hey! Hey... look at me luz"
Her eyes lock with mine as she turns her head to mine I begin panicking, her lips start turning purple as she coughs heavily. Gently standing her up I hold out my hands remembering the instructions eda gave me back in late 2019
"Give me your arms luz.. please"
She looks confused but then rests her forearms on my palms, smiling reassuringly I lift her arms above her head and place her hands on the top of her head, then lock eyes with her.
"I know it'll hurt very bad...but breathe in as deep as you can luz don't stop until you are certain your lungs are entirely filled"
She nods her eyes turning dry despite the tears as her lips turn further purple, inhaling deeply at a slow pace the pooling blood fades from her face leaving her skin pale and her lips slightly white as she exhales, she repeats the exercise four more times then slips her hands down to grip her knees. Luz starts shaking as her breath levels, pulling her close I press kisses into her hair and mutter gentle 'shh's' rocking her in my arms.
"I got you it's ok..."
Sitting down my hand gripping hers I pat my lap, she sits down onto me and presses her body tightly against mine her face burying into my neck, her arms wrap tightly around my upper half as her body shakes heavily.
Gently kissing her neck I hug her close,
"Shh...it's ok let it pass- I got you..."
Rubbing her back slowly, my lips brush kisses onto her neck comfortingly causing her breathing to settle even more, smiling as her body starts settling down I ask quietly just to know.
"How far did you run..?"
She sighs into my shoulder rubbing her face as she does so, loosening her grip on me she whispers softly.
"The whole seven miles... down the stairs and all the way to you... I'm so sorry I made you feel so unwelcome ami"
My heart sinks into my stomach so swiftly I feel nauseous, hugging her so close she loses her breath I say camlyly to not startle her my voice shaking
"Don't you ever do that again..You could've hospitalized yourself...Your lips were going purple.."
Luzes voice wavers gently as she presses further into me
"Im sorry..."
Loosening my hug I sigh shakily and kiss the top of her head, luz wraps her arms around my neck as her lips press to my collarbone, she turns her head so her ear presses to my chest. Luz asks her voice sounding drained of all energy
"Can I sleep awhile...? I feel so..exhausted"
And before I can get to say yes she's out like a dead lightbulb or atleast- I think she is. I softly whisper into her ear
"Of course you can...I love you"
To which she mumbles lovingly onto my shirt, her embrace tightening around my neck
"Thanks...love you too..."
Her breath softens turning slowly into snores as she curls up into a ball in my lap... this girl... She has the wildest dreams of becoming a riot officer- then becoming a fed... it's so dangerous a job but titandamn.. she has endurance and commitment- I'd have curled up and died after two miles of full sprinting and she did seven. But.. she's my wild girl- and I love her so much for that..
Resting my head ontop of hers I hug her closer, pressing kisses into her hair. Her eyes slightly open after maybe around an hour and a half, smiling when she lifts her head to look at me I place a kiss onto her lips,
"Better..?"
I ask quietly onto her lips and she giggles loudly, her hands slipping to rest on my collarbone. She nods gently and goes in for another kiss, her thumbs running along my throat, to my jawline and to stop at the corners of my lips. I raise an eyebrow to her flushed demeanor- then it hits me like a brick wall, snorting a laugh I tease her quietly
"Are you horny??"
She leans In then pulls back as her mind returns to reality, her face flushes red. She says as if it's like she's saying it in an 'I guess I am' way.
"Just a little-"
She starts laughing into my shoulder as I press the back of my hand onto my mouth to suppress my giggles, leaning against the tree behind me I say still laughing
"Being sixteen gives teens crazy ass hormones"
She nods swiftly and rests onto me again, our words getting lost in the woods.

Luz stands in front of the portal looking about ready to cry at the fact of going to a private school she can't escape from. Sighing she opens her backpack which is slung over her chest and not her back, pulling out a familiar indigo sweater and hands it to me.
"Just for the next week..or two"
Wrapping my arms around her neck I bury my face onto her neck locking her in a tight, loving hug.
"I'll return it on Friday...I love you and I'll miss you alot my wild girl.."
She smiles softly, her eyes lighting up as I pull away from her to stare into her chocolatey eyes. Placing her hand on the back of my head she swiftly pulls me into a long.. passionate kiss, parting from me she whispers softly
"I'll call you when I get to my common room"
I'm suddenly struck by surprise when she gives me a new pet name as she adds chuckling
"I promise...And if I don't- you can hit me on Friday- I love you baby"
Kissing me goodbye, I stutter out as she goes into the human world
"L-Love you more!"
Then the portal closes- the smile she gave me appearing on loop in my brain, pressing my hand to my mouth my face flushes red standing completely still in her room. Eda peers into the room seeing my very flustered expression
"Something happen boots??"
I nod rubbing my dry eyes already missing her, sighing I pull on the sweater and say with a smile.
"Just luz being- luz.. ms. Eda... I'm really gonna miss her"
Eda pulls me into a side hug, her smile making me laugh softly.
"You'll see her soon enough amity.. Luz adores being around you.. enough she'll break rules just to see you"
Looking down at the sweater I smile knowing I'll be receiving a call tonight- or giving her the mma smackdown on Friday though I doubt I'll be fulfilling the second opinion... I love that girl too much to hit her even if she says I can.
"Go get some rest kiddo- you'll need it for that call you're going to receive"
I chuckle knowing exactly what eda means..luz loves to talk for hours..and I love to listen to her for hours we're just like that... And I love that we're adorably just that way..

alrighty so- don't maim me or anything.
but everything in this part, and any part after, the anxiety and asthma is based upon my personal experiences of having severe asthma.
I tried using a less detailed approach on what happens since if I explained it in full or in her pov I'd probably make you all think luz is dying- and this story has enough conflict already.
And please understand absolutely NO part of it is false, I have it just as bad if not worse than what
I've wrote- well typed down.
