"So run this past me again" stiles asked his girlfriend.
Morning had come and they were about to meet Scott at the library, but stiles was still trying to wrap his head around the news
Alex nodded, knowing it was probably a lot to take in. She had come to the conclusion after their visit valack, she needed the proof.
"Okay so in my memory I just turned 16, and I was in an old rundown building and the doctors were also there, I think I had just woken up and they kept saying I was a success over and over and then they injected me with something which is what I'm assuming made me forget. The scene changed to me at home in bed, my mom and dad never took their eyes off me for about a month but I held my dads hand I had felt a pain, I remembered he told me he had burned himself that night" she explained
"Are you sure it wasn't just a bad dream" stiles asked. As much he was hoped it was just a dream the chances of it being real were too high.
Alex nodded, stopping in her spot "I'm positive. I mean think about it, it all adds up, I'm an argent there was never anyone supernatural in my bloodline and I'm not affected by mountain ash just like the others, i mean that year there was so many other kids taken just like now." She explained
"It was my memory stiles. Im a success this Is what a success looks like" she exclaimed, she seemed excited, but not because of what she was but because for the first time in two years she knew what she was.
She shook her head, running her hands through her hair "god I know this isn't a good thing, but stiles I finally know what I am. I mean I finally have the answers" she breathed, feeling the odd sensation of relief
Stiles smiled, he hadn't seen her this happy in weeks" Well then a success is very beautiful" he grabbed Alex's hand and pulled her into his arms
"Mhm maybe" Alex smiled.
Stiles nodded and began to kiss her. Alex kissed him back but soon remembered they had to go "Stiles we-.." Before She could speak his lips moved down to her neck, she couldn't help but enjoy it. "Stiles- " she couldn't seem to stop him it was the first time in days she felt good
"Okay"She pushed him away, instantly regretting it
She sighed "As much as I would love to do this and trust me I would love to. We don't have enough hours in the day to fight supernatural crime find dead bodies stop scientific doctors and have some time ourselves"
"You feel better?" He asked
"Yes" She smiled
"Then let's go ms success" he sang, pulling Alex Along by her hand

They walked into the library and Alex stopped stiles before they went to see Scott "how do we tell him?" She asked
"We just do it out straight. He can't exactly be mad" stiles told Alex, he could see she was worried about telling him, things not going too well between the two.
"straight out" she nodded
Stiles took Alex's hand and they walked over to the wolf who was sitting down. Once they reached him, he stood from his seat and opened up the map that was part of it "I have a plan. Well sort of" he told them
"well I need to tell you s-.."
Without giving Alex a second to speak Scott was quick to interrupt "We don't have time" he cut her off
Alex closed her mouth and didn't try to repeat herself. He was still mad at her, she was sick of trying to make him see her point of view.
Stiles looked at Scott unimpressed by the way he spoke to Alex.
"Dude it's important" stiles urged
Scott sighed "what is it?" He asked
Alex shook her head not wanting to cause anymore tension "you know, it can wait"
Stiles found Alex's hand, squeezing it tightly, he hated how scott treated her now, but saying something would only make things worse, which Alex didn't mind, she didn't expect stiles to jeopardize his friendship with his best friend.
He nodded and continued to talk "If the Dread Doctors didn't like coming into Eichen House because of them, maybe we can use them to protect Hayden" Scott explained
"Okay, so, besides Eichen, where's the strongest convergence?" Stiles asked
"We're standing on it."he pointed to the school on the map
"You want to hide her in the high school? For how long?" Stiles asked
"If we have to, all night" he stated " Liam convinced Hayden not to say anything to her sister yet. She's working a double tonight, and she thinks Hayden's staying at a friend's" Scott explained
Stiles glanced at his best friend wearily, "But it's just a school though. You know, it's not exactly a fortress" he gently reminded him
"Lydia's got an idea for that," Scott answered "Remember how Valack quoted Tesla?" He asked
"Frequency and vibration"
"She thinks he wasn't saying that just to sound smart. She thinks maybe it was a clue." Scott elaborated
"To do what?" Alex asked, breaking her short silence.
"Disrupt their frequency., Parrish took three cell phone jammers from the station. He thinks he can broaden their range of frequency. It's a long shot, but it's the best we've got right now" he explained
"Where do I stand in this?" Alex asked, bringing the attention to her.
Scott glanced towards her, he swallowed "you will be with me and Lydia in the locker room. Isaac and Malia will wait in the hallways just incase, parish will be outside" he explained

Alex walked into stiles room and seen he was drawing on his crime board. It was hours till their plan took place but a part of her couldn't help but feel something wrong would happen with her there and as much as she hated to say it, she couldn't bank on the alpha coming to her rescue.
She had tried to write it out, but her mind kept going blank. A world of ideas, a world she lived in but she couldn't think of one sentence that could describe what she'd been through over the last few weeks. An estimated of 171,146 words and she couldn't find one.
Stiles looked from his drawings and noticed Alex stood at his doorways "Hey" he grinned.
Alex didn't respond but instead she walked to his bed and took a seat.
Stiles watched, confused as to why she was so quite. He took the cue and sat beside her, resting his hand on her leg "Are you okay?"
"What If they find me again?" Alex asked,
"What do you mean?" Stiles asked.
Alex exhaled, feeling as if she had bricks on her chest "What if they find me and do something else to me or take away what I have. I'm not me if I'm not healing"
Stiles brought his hand from her leg to her hand, rubbing his thumb against her skin ,He had seen the excitement of this morning had slowly wear down to worry."Alex, we won't let anyone take you."
"Are you sure?" She asked, "Because right now Lydia's focusing on Liam and Hayden. Kira is trying to figure out exactly what she is, Malia is trying to find her Mother and Scott...." she paused "well at this point I really think I could drop dead and he wouldn't care"
She meant of every bit of it, especially about Scott. He couldn't bare to look at her right now nevermind save her if needed.
Stiles eyes fell with his frown, he hadn't realized just how bad she had feeling about Scott"is that how you really feel about Scott?" He asked
Alex let out a breath "I mean.. he hates me. He hates what I did and he can't move past it" her eyes began to fill, A tear rolling down her face "he.. I- .. I love him you know and I hate that we aren't what we are supposed to be. He's like my brother stiles he's my family and he... he hates me" she admitted
"Hey it's okay" stiles tried to comfort Alex. His hand rubbing circles around her back
He didn't know how to convince her Scott didn't hate her when he wasn't so sure himself, He looked into her eyes keeping a soft stare "I won't let them take you and Scott loves you, he just doesn't understood"
Alex dropped her head "If I am taken Promise you won't give up on me?" She asked quietly
Stiles lifted her head, his eyes locked with hers "Alex. I'd never give up on you"
Alex wiped the tears that landed on her cheek, sniffling quietly she moved onto something else "are you sure you don't want me to stay with you and Theo tonight?" She asked.
Stiles shook his head "no it's okay, besides if anything happened in the school you can heal"
"Just don't kill him, please?" She asked with a genuine tone "I know you don't exactly like him, but he's my friend and I do so please restrain from any violence"
He smiled "for you.. Always"
