"N-New home!?"
You stared up in wide-eyed shock at Blue, your breath quickening at the icy panic that filled your chest. "B-But... my home is earth!" You struggled more in her grip, but she held you firmly in place. "P-please! Release me at once!"
"Hush." Blue chided gently. "Earth is no place for such a valuable treasure like yourself. Here, you'll be able to freely share your wonderful gift without the fear of being harmed."
"b-but... but I..."
"Ah, but you're much more special than the specimens I have at her zoo..." Blue pondered out loud, your meek voice barely reaching her. "No, you deserve much better..." she thinks for a moment, while you grunted, trying again to pry yourself out of her fist. "I think... I'll keep you as my own...."
Keep..? Your struggling slowly coming to a stop, and you turned around to look up at her, your pointed ears twitching subtly to listen in better on her plans with you.
"...yes." She smiled to herself. "A treasure like you would make an excellent addition to my court."
...Her court?
She suddenly opened her palm up allowing a rush of cold air to roll over your body, making you yelp at the sudden exposure and instictively wrap your wings around yourself. She now had her pensive gaze trained on you. "Now... we'll need to get you property dressed, as a befitting subject to my court." She noted, poking at your abdomen gently, making you squeak and instinctively push her finger away instinctively. She hummed softly as she contemplated your small form curled up in her palm. "I'll have a special place created for you to stay... after all sirens still have human needs such as eating, sleeping and bathing?" She looked down at you and you instinctively nodded. "As I suspected... is there any other specific needs a siren requires? I wish to make sure you're as comfortable as possible..."
You blinked up at her. She looked and sounded quite sincere. As you slowly sat up into the sitting position, you were barely aware of the shock starting to dissipate enough for you to answer. "Well... we sirens spend a lot of time in and around water..." You Blue tilted her head, with a little smile. "Ah, that won't be a problem. You'll have plenty of water to splash and play in."
You felt a bit lighter, allowing blue to carefully pick you up between her thumb and index finger, and set you on her armrest. You instinctively shivered at the contact with the cold surface, but it's nothing curling your wings around yourself couldn't fix. There was an extensive silence between you both as she would move and make gestures with her arm, which was enveloped in an odd blue energy, the ship moving in sync with the movement. You just sat in silence.
You didn't know what else to do at this point. Everything had happened so quickly. One minute you were on earth, yearning for more excitement in your life, and now here you were, abducted by a blue alien queen, on your way to her planet. And by millions of stars passing by the window at a slow, steady pace, there truly was no going back. .
Well... I guess this is what mom meant by be careful what you wish for... you thought with a sigh. You looked back up at blue diamond, twiddling your thumbs. ...well I may as well gather more information on my 'new home'. After a few moments, you gathered enough bravery to speak. "So... where exactly... is my 'new home' going to be like?"
Blue smiled, pleased at your question. "Oh, I'm sure the others will adore you, little siren." She speaks, her voice soft and child-like. "Never before has gemkind ever heard such sweet and soothing sounds produced by an equally elegant creature." You lifted a brow. "Gemkind?"
"Gems are a powerful race, little one." She explains. "There are many ranks depending on the gem type. But one thing is certain; all gems cannot have so much as one flaw." Her voice suddenly darkened, and you shivered at a chill that swept down your spine. "Flawed gems, or defects are to be terminated immediately." You blinked, trying to digest her words.

"Then there are the diamonds. Like myself." She gestures to herself, namely the kite gemstone shining proudly on her chest. "We are responsible for producing these gems to create powerful armies, to protect and expand our empire." She smiles down at you.
"Wow." You uttered in awe. "Didn't think I'd be lucky enough to encounter such a... powerful intergalactic race.." Blue smiles down at you. "On the contrary, it is us who was lucky to encounter you." She giggles softly. "While we do have some gem types that offer entertainment, they don't quite bring such soothing sounds like you do." You smile, feeling your cheeks burn at the compliment. "You flatter me, milady."
She hums lightly, smiling wider as she leaned back into her seat again, occasionally flexing or gesturing with her energy encased arm. "It will be a while until we reach homeworld," Blue noted. "Pearl, why don't you make sure our siren is as comfortable as possible for our trip?"
You turn to the direction she was looking, and saw a very thin blue skinned girl with neck-long dark blue hair that draped over her eyes like curtains, hiding them from view. The outfit she wore reminded you of a one-piece bathing suit humans wore, but it had an elegant transparent blue skirt around her waist. Squinting your eyes, you found that in the center of her chest was a small, shiny pearl. She suddenly raised her hands and crossed them oddly in front of her chest, her hands taking the shape of a diamond as she bowed. "Yes, my diamond."
Straightening up, she gestures you forward. "Come, my siren. There is a room available for you to rest in until we reach homeworld."
You nodded, and stood up, your wings unfurling and giving them a little test flap before you gracefully leapt off your perch and glided towards the thin girl's spot, landing perfectly on your feet next to her. The pearl instinctively stepped back with a gasp, but was quick to replace it with a small but amazed little smile. "Right this way."
As you followed the pearl, you could faintly hear blue diamond's final input. "Incredible... oh... how you would've loved them..."

"Here we are."
You look around in awe at the small, cozy blue room, furnished with a long, plush comforter sat near a large window. Tentively, you walked over to the comforter, setting your bag on the surface before experimentally pressing a finger into it. You marveled at how squishy it was, not used to such a plush surface and you quickly climbed onto it, rolling around on the cushiony surface, a pleased audible purr rumbling in your throat. The blue pearl walked up to you, trying to stifle her giggles of amusement. It was something about how childishly happy you looked that made her feel a sudden warmth in her cheeks. "Do you require anything else, my siren?" You stopped your joyful rolling, to think for a moment. "...yes, actually."
You turn over to look at the blue gem, and she suddenly found her cheeks burning up at the curious smile you gave her. "What exactly did Lady Blue mean by defects?"
Blue pearl frowned worriedly. "Well... defects are typically gems that are... flawed." She stated with a wince. You tilted your head with a frown of your own. "Flawed how?" Blue pearl looked down to her feet, appearing sad. "Well... Flawed. A wrongly formed gemstone and physical form. Should there be anything like a misshapen gemstone or psychical form, that would be deemed defective." You blinked. "Gemstone..?" Blue pearl nodded. "Hmhm. It has energy that projects our physical forms." Your pupils dilated slightly in interest. "Oh..."
You then leaned forward towards the gem, focusing your attention on the round pearl on her chest.
"Is that what this is?"
The pearl stiffened at your touch, blushing as she bit her lip to fight back a squeak at the sudden jolt your touch caused. "Y-y-yes, m-my siren!" She replied in an oddly hurried and shaky voice, quickly stepping backwards, which made you jerk back in alarm. "Oh! Forgive me! Did I hurt you?"
"O-oh no no! It just... kinda tickled..." she looked off to the side, hoping her bangs would cover the blush on her cheeks. You tilted your head. "Oh? So... a gemstone works kind of like... a heart?" Now it was Blue pearl's turn to tilt her head in confusion. "A heart?"
You nodded. "Yes! It is something that keeps us humans, animals and sirens alive back on earth!" If it wasn't for her bangs, you'd see her eyes show a spark of interest, as well as them scanning your body curiously. "Oh? Where is it located?" You point to your chest. "It's located in here. It's always pumping blood through our bodies to keep us alive!"
Unwittingly, Blue pearl moved closer in interest. "Blood?" You nodded again, your tail tip wagging slightly at the conversation. "It's basically an earthling life-force, we can't live without it. I'd show you, but.. that would hurt." You giggled softly, in which blue pearl did as well. You then yawned, stretching in a cat like manner before sitting down, crossing your legs. "Well... that's enough out of me. Thank you for your assistance, lady pearl, but I believe I'm fine for now." You reached into your satchel, and pulled out you kalimba. "You're free to go." Blue pearl bowed, forming the odd salute again. "Happy to be of service. Do call if you need anything else, my siren."
With that pearl turned and started to make her way out of the room.
But not before hearing your beautiful kalimba music as she left.
She smiled to herself, feeling light, as if the music was lifting her, as well as a warmth filling her chest.
Perhaps they'll be the ones finally light to this dark era..
