'Shanya pov'
I was woken up by the feeling of for small feet jumping across my chest, I jumped up from my slumber to see a guilty looking cat on the floor next to taelyn.
"Don't you even think about it" I whispered firmly
I got up from the couch and picked up him up so he didn't wake anyone else and walked upstairs to my room to get ready for my job interview, when I was in my room I sat bunny on my bed and went over to my closet and got out the clothes I got from taelyn's store and laid them out on my bed.
I went over to my drawer and got out some underwear and threw them on my bed also, when I was done I took a step back and looked at my outfit and smiled to myself.
I walked over to my bathroom and turned on the shower, while I was letting the water heat up I did my normal morning routine by washing my face and brushing my teeth. When I got done with that I looked in the mirror and sighed
"I really don't want to do this today I'm so scared" I cried to myself my heart was aching and my body was tense and I haven't even left the house yet I quickly wiped my tears and let out a huff
"We got this okay you can do this" I reassured myself, i nodded my head and slipped off my robe and got into the tub.
(Time skip)
I got out of the shower feeling refreshed and feeling a lot better than before, I am now in my room fully clothed and doing my hair.
I brushed my lengthy brown hair back into a ponytail with a swoop bang and curled the ends of my hair I was going to do a bun but didn't want to do to much work to wrap my hair, threw on some chapstick since I wasn't feeling like wearing makeup today.
I grabbed my bag and stuffed my phone and charger in with everything else I needed and rushed downstairs only to see that the girls were still asleep I let out a low sigh and walk over to the kitchen to feed bunny, I w went over to the cabinet and grabbed one of bunny's bowls and his favorite wet food, I scooped it into the bowl and sat it down on the ground for him since he was begging like a hungry man!
I decided to leave the girls a note to let them know where I was and what to do when they woke up so I grabbed a pen and some paper and wrote.
" Hey guys I'm going to my job interview I already fed bunny but depending on when you wake up please give him a half cup of dry food with two tablespoons of water please and thank you there is waffles in the freezer and donuts on the counter eat whichever you want and I'll be back later bye bye wish me luck p.s shanya"
I looked at the note reading it over before sticking it to the fridge where I know lyna is going to go first, I walked over to the door and slid on my black and white heels and I was out the door. I walked over to the elevator and pressed the button to go down while I was waiting I was on my phone when I heard footsteps I started to panic in my head I wanted to look up and see who it was but I was too scared so I kept staring at my phone.
The elevator finally opened and I rushed on the mystery person we are gonna call them gee-gee got on also I pressed the button for the ground floor and stepped back so gee-gee could press the bottom also but to they didn't that meant that they were also going to the parking garage I sighed and put my phone in my bag I let out a low huff and looked up at gee-gee only to see that gee-gee was a woman well looked like a woman I don't want to assume they're gender.
So I mustered up the courage and said hi "hello" they said with a smile
"I'm shanya and you"? I asked with my hand out
"Oh I'm sorry I'm Brichelle it's nice to meet you! Do you live here"? They said with a brow raised
"Yea I live in apartment #708 and you" I said by now they had put they're phone in their pocket and was facing me
"Oh I don't live here I was coming to see my boyfriend since he didn't feel well I wanted to cheer him up" they said
"oh that's nice I bet he is super happy, also you are very beautiful" I said
"oh thank you, you are also-" she was cut off by the elevator opening "oh well I guess that's my que before I say something weird bye bye shanya" they said and walk off I waved goodbye and walked to my car whoever they are dating is very lucky I said to myself while getting in my car and starting it.
(Another time skip)
I was now out side of the building of 'King inc' it was a really big building and I really didn't want to do this but I need money I can't keep living off of Lyna's parents even if they are okay with it I fixed my outfit before I walked into the building and over to the front desk to ask where I'm supposed to be but this rude bitch is ignoring me
"Hello I'm trying to fig-" he cut me off by putting his hand in my face
"Sorry we don't have anything for darkies like you here we don't accept your kind so you can turn around and I won't see you out the door" he said going back to his long nails
"Excuse me darkie"? I questioned in disbelief
"Look here discharge dust I don't know who the fuck you think you are but I'm not the one you don't know who I am or what I wanted I could have very well made you lose your job but you wanna be a bitch if you had listened instead of running your mouth you would know that I was here for my interview but fuck that I wonder how corporate would feel when they hear from me mister Leon we will see how you feel when you don't have and can't find a job" I said
I went to turn away when I heard a smooth voice from behind me say "what seems to be the problem here " he said but he must've been very important if mister Leon started bitching in his seat sitting up straight and shit!
"Nothing sir I was just seeing this woman off" he lied right through them yellow ass teeth
"Excuse me " I said "I was just trying to get to my interview when this man shut me down and called me a darkie" I seethed
"Is that true Leon"? He asked
"Mister chale I'm going to need you to collect your things and leave your badge on the desk we do not tolerate rasicm sexism or homophobia here at 'king Inc' something you should know and that goes to everyone here if I find out any has done any of those things you will be terminated immediately does everyone understand"? He shouted angrily
"Yes sir" everyone answered in usion
Mister Leon gathered his things and took off his badge he didn't even try to argue who the fuck is this guy? I turned around to face him and to my surprise it was the fine guy from the store.
"Now miss...?" "Johnson Shanya Johnson" I said to the man he nodded
"Well miss Johnson follow me and I will take you to your interview" he said as he turned and began walking off with me following right behind him.
Damn his ass is fat! I thought to myself as we got off the elevator and walked into a office "You can sit there" he said I nodded and sat down in front of a desk the name plate on the desk said mister white and that's when I put two and two together and realized I flipped out in front of my soon to be boss and I cussed at him shit!
"Sir I'm-" I went to talk but he cut me off
"So miss Johnson why do you want to work at my company " he said with a brow raised as he leaned against the desk
"Well a friend recommended this company to me and said the workers and boss where good people and this was a very good work environment" I said trying not to embarrass myself anymore that I already have
"Okay will now that you said that tell me the real reason and bare in mind your answer determines whether you get the job or not I don't need to ask any other questions I read everything in your file so please answer why do you want to work here be honest" he said emotion less and unbothered
"Well my friend did recommend me to this company but I really want to work here because I need money but if I'm not wanted I have no problem going elsewhere" I told him not trying to seem desperate
"Well miss Johnson you got yourself a job" he said going behind his desk and sitting down "You start tomorrow morning be here at 7:30 on the dot" he said
"Excuse me?" I asked with my brow raised and confused"
"You are excused" he said sarcastically "No I mean how did I get the job you only asked me one question"
"Like I said miss Johnson I already read everything I need to know you were going to get hired anyway I just needed to do the interview so i advise you to leave and get yourself gathered before you start tomorrow and stop asking questions and also here is your contract you can sign it at home and bring it back tomorrow" he said as he handed be a packet and waved me off I walked out of his office confused but happy that I didn't have to do much.
I walked onto the elevator and pressed the button for the lobby and as soon and the doors closed I screamed with happiness I can't believe I got the job jumped happily I quickly text the girls to tell them the good news
