Still making an effort for me?
Mason had went to train for the euros again on Sunday the week was busy for Avery she had too meet up with a few old friends who were in town for the week before the euros she was hanging out with them and showing them all over London mason FaceTimed Avery as much as he could he'd been so tired for the last two days so he just texted her to check up on her.
Tomorrow was the first euros match where it starts for the boys against Croatia.
MASON'S POV
I had been back at training it was draining but I got to spend time with my friends so it was keeping me going I had FaceTimed Avery for the three nights but I was too tired to FaceTime the last two night so he texted her instead she seemed fine she was keeping herself busy hanging out with friends so I was sure she was feeling fine but I couldn't wait to hug her on Sunday.

Avery had been chilling after her girl friends had set off back to wales where Avery met them the first time she visited her auntie when she was 8
Avery was laid out on the couch before she realised mason would be back from training tonight and have the night to himself she decided she was going to surprise her boyfriend since he had done it the week previous Avery pulled herself up from the couch to stand up straight as she walked up the stairs to her room which was neat and tidy she threw her hair up in a ponytail and flung a leather jacket around her white top and jeans and headed to grab masons favourite a dominos she got it and headed to masons house knowing he wouldn't be in for a little while so she had enough time to drive there and set the food up
She reached masons house and parked her car at the bottom of the street so it was a surprise she walked up the drive meeting masons front door as she grabbed the key he gave her she unlocked the door as went inside she closed the door gently and locked it again so mason would have no idea someone was in his house she placed the pizza box on the table and headed to the kitchen to grab plates she placed a few slices on each and binned the box leaving the plates on masons kitchen island she heard masons keys rattling from outside she hid in the cupboard of the hallway.
The door unlocked as Avery peaked her head out she saw mason walked through his home as he placed his training bag in the hall he went to the cupboard Avery was stood in she started to panic she forgot this cupboard was where the training bag goes just as Avery was gonna hide behind one of the many bags mason opened the cupboard door.
MASON'S POV
"Avery?"
A smile spread across my face as I saw the one person I've been wanting to see and hug all week
She stood there and smiled as she put her hands out she was behind a few bags and couldn't get out so I lifted her out and put the bag I was going to put there and closed the door.
"What are you doing here?"
"Well you surprised me last time now it's my turn to surprise you!"
I slowly wrapped my arms around her not wanting to let go she lifted her head up to look me in the eyes
She pecked my lips
"I waited to see you for a week and I get a peck?"
"Mhm"
"Not a chance" I grabbed her soft skin and kissed her lips
"That's better" I said hugging her tightly in my arms as she smiled and wrapped her arms around me
"I got your favourite earlier don't know if you seen it or not"
"You got me pizza!"
"Mhm" she nodded her head as I grabbed her hand pulling her along with me to see the pizza laid out
I took a slice placing it in my mouth as she let go of our hug leaving my arms I pulled a sad face
"Mount I'll be back in 2" she said turning her back infront her
I was starving from barely eating today so I ate like every slice there was until Avery came back with two cups of tea in her hands
"Movie night?"
"Yea" I replied taking the cup from her cold hands
It was a wet day in london so it had been chilly for the day but the weather was too change for tomorrow just in time for the first game at Wembley for the boys mason and Avery wrapped up in a blanket putting on a movie mason wrapped his arm around Avery keeping her next to him she moved her legs onto the couch as she was cuddled into mason sipping her tea while invested in the movie the two were like this for the rest of the night before the clock reached 00:00 as the movie ended minutes previous before mason tried to wake up his girlfriend he gently shook her
"Ave Ave" he spoke quietly
He moved her head to lap on his lap as he saw her completely dosed off and sleeping peacefully
The brunette lifted his girlfriend into his arms and walked upstairs with her still in his arms he placed her under the covers of his bed tucking her in turning the light out as he got changed and hopped in beside the sleeping girl and wrapped his warm body around hers.
The two soulmates fell asleep on the rainy night of June sleeping peacefully and happy.
"Mase mase" the words mumbled into masons ear
"Mase mase!" The words started to repeat over and over as the brown eyed boy laid in his warm bed
"Mase you need to wake up"
His eyes started to flicker as he saw his girlfriend infront of him
"Ave?" He mumbled out being half awake and half asleep
"Mase get up"
He slowly pulled himself up sitting up while Avery sat on top of the covers beside his legs
"Waffles" she spoke lifting her had to point at the plate
Sitting on a tray was a white plate masons waffles the way he liked them and with a bottle of water and a note as she stood up and left turning her head to him as she stood at the doorframe
"Love you too"
She said blowing him a kiss as she went downstairs

Don't know why I'm really writing this part but go do your best out there today stuff this I know you will anyways enjoy your breakfast get ready you gotta leave soon and I wanna say goodbye before I see you tonight

His eyes lit up seeing her being so kind and knowing he would make her proud today and knowing she loved him so much
He folded the note up and grabbed his phone pulling the cover off and placing the note inside of the cover he opened up onto his Instagram feed with everyone who couldn't wait for the match while he ate his waffles.
He grabbed his kit from the wardrobe that Was hanging up
He ran for a shower and got ready the brunette raced down the stairs shoving his phone in his pocket
He looked everywhere for his girlfriend to find her in the kitchen washing the dishes from last night and her plate.
AVERY'S POV
I was cleaning my dishes as two cold arms wrapped tightly around my waist as a chin planted onto my shoulder
"Thank you!" He whispered into my ear
"Anytime" I washed my hands leaving the dishes to dry
I thought mason was going to let go but he turned my body around to face his as he started into my eyes
"I will do you proud tonight I promise."
I laughed as he was being adorable to me for once
"I know you will now you need to start heading off"
My two warm hands from the hot water placed on masons face cupping his face as I kissed his lips
"Now Cmon better get going mase"
"I don't wanna go now"
"Well too bad you'll see me after the game cause I need to make sure liana and Dylan and the kids get in the right spot."
"Awh I'm gonna meet them tonight!"
"Mhm"
"Something else to look forward to"
Mason held me close to him as I wrapped my arms around his neck and his still on my waist as I hugged him he tipped me down as he kissed me this time
He lifted me back up as the biggest smile spread across my face
"I love that smile of yours Ave"
His words made my heart fill with joy god I'm head over heels in love with him.
