Once upon a time
You and I were like a mime:
We would not talk,
But just observe
And repeat.
Every day was the same
And it all felt like a game.
The only difference was that
the next level never came.
I was looking for a change
But you thought
I was the one to blame.
You were so addicted
To the old pictures
Of ourselves
That you could not see
Outside the frame.
I wrote it
Erased it
Repeated it
In every single way
But then I took a deep breath
My hands were shaking
My nose was bleeding
It almost felt like death
Still, I saved as draft.
