The tavern is full tonight,
Scents of wine and men
Makes me want to leave
I glare at the food before me
And then there's the empty
Seat across the table too
No words leave my being
As I find myself lost in
The music the bards were
Creating like a magic spell
Slowly I felt the people there
Dance their way into mist
Only the music remains
And I know she's here at last
Turning around I find myself
Capable of sensing her right.
Leaving my seat for the first
Time that night, we make our
Way to each other in the
Centre of the hall and there's
Nothing but the melodies the
Magical bards left behind &
The slow movements of our
So called dance, close to
Each other our feet were just
Guiding us and we were just
Swaying with the lightest
Of the breeze present around
The night has disappeared,
The people had vanished,
The songs had lost their
Words and meanings
All there was to that moment
Was her soft voice of claim,
She had finally claimed the
Awaited heart of mine and
Now there's nothing left.
