AZEZAL POV
I turned back when I heard Aaron talking to someone "Come, come" and I saw Aaron with Leera... Leera? What's she doing here?
I saw him pulling her hand like forcing her to enter the room
I hanged up the call and my eyes met her. She stilled on her feet, absolutely stunned to see me just like me. She was the most unexpected someone to be here in my engagement party. Then my eyes went back to the little Aaron who was struggling to make Leera walk who's now standing still on her place, not able to move just like a statue.
"Look who's here!" Aaron uttered excitedly when he saw me. I remember he saw a picture of her that night and he told me how much he already liked her
I took steps towards them and I could see Leera started shivering a little. Her face astonished seeing me here, she also didn't expect to see me here I guess.
Can't deny the fact how much she's looking ravishing in that nevi blue v necked dress. Her dark brown hair open in soft curls. Her eyes glittering staring at me amazed and fearful. She is looking breathtaking beautiful
"Aaron?" I uttered raising my eyebrow not exactly knowing what was happening here. Now I'm standing close to them just a step away. She's still stunned and now I could see she stopped breathing as I came close. Her eyes traveled down not able to look at me more
"Bestfriend! You invited Leera here to surprise me, right?" Aaron said avidly with a wide smile. But before I could say anything my sister came in...
"Aaron! So here you are.. I was searching for you downstairs. I told you not to roam around!" My sister Alina said coming here with a frown face
"I'm sorry.... Mom" Aaron said in a low tone still holding Leera's hand
"He..He was showing me the way to restroom" Leera finally spoke up
"Oohh.. Sorry maybe he kept you roaming around with him instead of showing you the way to restroom. Come I'll lead the way" Alina said to her with a smile
"She can just use my washroom here as she's already here" I affirmed straightly, observing everything.
"Ooh yeahh... Leera, there's a washroom here. You can use it. I'm downstairs. If you need anything you can call me" She said to Leera and took Aaron's hand in her
"Y..Yeahh thankyouu" Leera said smiling back to her, more like forcing a smile as per the situation. So, my sister and she know eachother and are pretty good with eachother... I guess they probably met here in the party though
"By the way! This is my brother Azezal, today's main individual... I mean the husband-to-be" Alina muttered grinning and Leera nodded forcing another smile. Then Alina faced me and introduced Leera to me as if I don't know her. Yeah of course she doesn't have any idea about my past with Leera...
"Azezal, This is Leera, friend of Louis" She said to me. I didn't even expect her to be related to Louis in any way
"Miss Leera" I called her name to grab her attention forwarding my hand for a shake with a grin on my face. Acting we both are meeting eachother for the first time
"P...Pleasure to meet you" She muttered and hesitated before shaking my hand but as Alina way watching us she held my hand for a handshake
"Excuse me... Aaron come with me. It's been long you didn't eat anything" Saying that Alina excused herself, dragged Aaron out of the room with her. Now it's just me and Leera here. Still her hand in mine as I clenched it tight. She tried to get her hand off mine but I didn't let her hand go. She's still looking down at our hands and trying to free her hand from mine. A smirk played on my lips as I watched her
Then slowly she titled her head up and faced me "L..Leave my hand" She uttered staring at me. I didn't say anything instead gripped her hand tighter.
"Ouchh" She huffed due to the pain of my hard clench on her hand. Still I didn't leave her hand instead I hauled her with me and bought her just at the washroom door while she kept trying to resist and get rid of me
"The restroom" I stated calmly and left her hand go. She looked puzzled at first maybe didn't expect that from me then relaxed a bit. She slowly nodded... went inside the restroom and closed the door
I grinned at what I was thinking... my devilish mind. Let's play around with her. Well it was oviously not right for her to be here..... in this party and see me again. Well the fate always wants us to meet again and again. Not my fault whatever happens anyway. She is the one who came here by her own
It's been a while but she's still not coming out of the washroom.. maybe scared of me? I need to freshen up too and it's getting late. I just want this party over as soon as possible.
I removed my grey tuxedo as well as my tie and undid few of my buttons of my white shirt. Let's see what's she is doing in there for such a long time
I unlocked the washroom door slowly and came inside. Then I locked the washroom door without making any noise. I saw her standing infront of the wash stand drifted deep in her thoughts while the tap is open and water kept flowing out of it. She kept blankly staring down lost in her thoughts wetting her hands with the water. Still didn't realise someone just came inside the washroom
I came near her and now I'm standing right behind her. I closed the tap and she stumbled back and bumped into my front hard chest with a sacred and ashtonished face at the sudden move. Her back confronting my front. Her eyes instantly traveled to the mirror and our eyes met through the mirror. She's completely stunned seeing me here right now
I caged her as I held the wash stand with both of my hands and she's between my hands. I leaned forward to the side of her ear and released a deep breath saying "How long do you wash hands?"
We were too close now... I could completely smell her fragrance and as always I would love to get drowned into it... she smelled of lavender and her hair smelled like vanilla. But that's not something I should be thinking of right now... Ahh she's no one to me... just a nobody! A random shitty girl who betrayed me. A fucked up woman with fucked up intentions... A fucking liar and a bloody betrayer!
"Huh?" She hesitantly uttered staring at me through the mirror. She didn't move nor tried to get rid of me, only stayed on her position. Maybe too afraid to even make any move?.... I grinned and she's still staring at me blankly through the mirror
I came more close to her and she's still not moving... probably too scared to move or she doesn't just want to.... I watched her through the mirror as she slowly closed her eyes and there was a small single tear running down her cheek. Fucking tear? For what?
I clenched her wrist and turned her around. Then pushed her against the wash stand enclosing the small space between us as well as encaging her between my hands again. She wiped her tears before I could see more and slowly looked up. Her beautiful hazel brown eyes.... the eyes in which I used to seek peace and love. The eyes which used to comfort me in the worst situations... but now it's nothing
We kept staring at eachother like it's an gawking contest. I hoped for her to speak something but she didn't. I leaned over her intentionally make her feel discomfort and she leaned back. Unknowingly my eyes drifted to her lips.... the feeling of her cherry soft lips against mine.... again an urge to kiss those lips grew in me and I almost leaned in to kiss her probably not in my senses. The exact moment she turned her face to the other side closing her eyes. Then I realized.. What the fuck I was thinking to do!?
I released a deep breath closing my eyes. Then I removed my hands from the wash stand and let go of her. I turned back and waited for her to leave but she didn't even move.. probably watching me surprised as she thought I would do something
"Get out from here" I stated coldly and she instantly rushed to the door, unlocked it and rushed outside
"The fuck is wrong with me!" I sighed staring at myself in the mirror
LEERA POV
I rushed out of the room and then finally breathed satisfying my soul... I never thought I would ever attend his engagement, I never wanted to but the situation got me here
I don't know why I felt helpless seeing him... I don't know why do I feel weak whenever I'm near him? When will I ever get to stand for myself infront of him? And why the hell he got inside the washroom when he knew I was in? Of course to annoy me. Why the hell do these fucking tears need to run down infront of him? I don't want to look weak infront of him, this will only uplift him to hurt me more and that will satisfy him too... maybe that's what he wants
"Leera" I heard a small endearing voice calling my name and it was Aaron. I composed myself... I'm still standing infront of the room door. Aaron came running to me calling my name and I kneeled to his level
"I was searching for you. Sorry, mom took me away" He said adorably
"Ooohh, I was in the washroom. I didn't expect you to be looking for me" I said softly giving him a smile although I'm all stressed out now
"I want to talk to you. Can we be friends... Please" He pouted with pleading adorable eyes. "Sure, we can. I would love to be your friend" I said and cupped his face. He smiled brightly
"Let's go downstairs" I muttered and he said a small "Okay" I started walking taking his small hand in mine, came down the stairs where everyone was. I just want to get away from this party as soon as possible
"Leera, you're finally here! I have been waiting for you for a long time" Louis said when I came near to him. "Hmm... I'm sorry. It took a little long time I guess" I muttered in a low voice
"Aaron, looks like you like her too much. Clinging to her everywhere" Louis laughed
"She is my friend" Aaron said holding my hand tightly
"Are you trying to steal my friend from me?" Louis joked and Aaron made a frown face
"Now she's my friend too. She will play with me" Aaron utterly cute and confidently
"The little guy here is quite possessive huh?" I muttered playfully to Aaron
"I'm not a little guy" He said and folded his hands on his chest with a scowl face. We laughed at his small cute gestures
"Don't laugh!" He uttered making an angry poker face but his face is too adorable for that. He looks even more cuter now.
"Okay okay. Nobody's gonna laugh now" Louis said and took Aaron in his arms
"I'm sorry for laughing, Aaron. I'm only your friend. We'll talk and play together.. okay?" I said caressing his hair and he grinned now
"Me, bestfriend and you" Aaron said smiling.
"Bestfriend, who?" I asked curious raising my eyebrow to know who he was actually referring to
"You already met him... It would be fun when we'll play together and we'll also go to eat icecream together" He said with a wide smile on his face now and I smiled back at him, still not getting who he was actually referring his bestfriend, maybe a kid like him.
"Yaay... bestfriend is finally here!" Aaron shouted smiling widely looking behind me. I turned back to see his bestfriend all of my assumptions broke apart. There he was standing watching our every move... his hands shoved in his pant's pockets. I already want to run from here and I was about to but Aaron drifted my thoughts, so I couldn't get out from this fucking party or I would have left long ago when I knew it's actually Azezal's engagement party.
Now I get it was Azezal who Aaron was calling his bestfriend.... and I remember he called him his bestfriend even when we met upstairs. All the time the bestfriend he was mentioning to me was actually him? So stupid of me to think it was a kid like Aaron who he was mentioning to be his bestfriend
Then the girl, Carla shouted his name "AZEZAL!" and run to him throwing herself on him, hugging him like she saw him after a lot of days. He was staring at me and Louis who was carrying Aaron. He slowly lifted his one hand to Carla's back and the other still shoved inside his pant's pocket
I don't know why I felt a lump of pain hit me when I saw him hugging that girl... who was soon to be his wife
His eyes fixed on me while he hugged her back and that devilish grin appeared on his face when our eyes met..........
