bakugō huffed "i said," before grabbing your forearms with his large hands and pulling you into a sitting position "your fucking food is ready and i won't repeat myself"
"ughh" you groaned "—wait, you talking 'bout my [bbq dish of choice]!?"
he helped you stand up and chuckled at your delayed reaction as he released your arms from his grip "what else, dumbass and here your sunglasses"
"thanks" placing your sunglasses back into your hair you rushed to calvin's side to grab a plate
"damn [nickname], where's my hug" you mean mugged him not being able to tell if he was serious or just goofing around, so you just looked around "ion know, but not here"
alex and a few others snickered, while you just spotted brent at the grill together with sero, denki and mina "brent!"

i was true, the last time you physically saw him was when he helped you and nelly move in with alex "great, how about you" handing him your plate you two began to catch up and enjoying your food together.

after everybody was as good as finished with eating and digesting their food, (never! go into the water directly after eating😭 speaking from experience) denki suggested playing chicken fight; first up

removing your last piece of clothing, now in nothing but your swimwear, you felt bakugō's eyes on you the whole time.

bakugō crouched down to give a piggy back ride to the water, as you hopped on he unintentionally placed his large hands near your ass, but you choose to ignore it

reaching the water edge, bakugō helped you up, onto his shoulders and you shivered slighty at the feeling of his warm veiny arms wrapped around your thighs, causing his biceps to flex slightly

when they finally got it, sero

started the countdown and on 3 you grabbed onto nelly's arms, her doing the same to you
"don't let go, girlie" bakugō grumbled
after a few moments he stepped back and muttered "pinch the side of her arms" before readjusting his hold on you and standing his ground against kirishima.
you grabbed nelly's arms again and dug your nails into her skin, not enough to hurt her but thightly enough to make her stagger back and drag kirishima down with her.
"ha!"
bakugō patted your thigh with a lazy smirk on his handsome face
"not bad, puffball"
