7.00 a.m
Waking up early to do my usual morning workout
A 5km run is good enough for the start of the day
Stretches and some other workouts would do finely
Then I went back to my own room, taking a shower before getting dressed in my uniform and tied my hair up into a high ponytail
8:30 a.m
I am all ready to go down to breakfast, grabbing my phone and my keys before heading downstairs to the dining hall
Since I'm really early today, no one else is at the dining hall when I arrived
I grabbed some onigiris and a bottle of water before sitting down at the table
Casually eating while scrolling through my phone, even though my mind is occupied with the talk I decide to have with Inumaki-senpai later on
I am planning to tell him my feelings
I've been evaluating every outcome carefully last night
If he likes me back then great
If he doesn't then at least I won't be given false hope again and I know it's time to move on
"HELLO MY FAVOURITE STUDENT"
The sudden shouting nearly made me drop my phone
I really do need to star getting used Mr Blindfold
"Yes Gojo-sensei?"
"Can you do me a little favour my favourite student"
Sighing knowing it's not going to be something pleasant, but I still nodded my head, at the end of the day he is still my sensei
"OMG I LOVE YOU MY FAVOURITE LITTLE STUDENT"
Mr Blindfold exaggerated and tightly hugged me before backing away
"So it's a simple task, can you take down some curses for me in this abandoned library, pretty please"
"A library? They are huge though"
"Please please please"
Gojo-sensei begged while grabbing my arms like a 3 years-old child asking for sweets
"Only once"
I said, after taking a deep breath
"Your the best, now get going, Ijichi-san is waiting for you at the front gate"
"Already? You got all these planned out?"
"Well partly, I was planning to get whoever came in first to go for me, and your the lucky one"
I playfully rolled my eyes at his words before putting the empty plates away
"Respect you sensei!"
"Mr Blindfold your asking me to do a favour"
"I never said anything"
Trying to hold back my laughter, I walked out of the dining hall with Gojo-sensei by my side
On our way out, I met Megumi who gave me a look of confusion
"Y/n? Where are you going"
"Emergency mission"
He then looked at Mr Blindfold standing next to me, immediately understanding the situation
"Come back safely"
"I will"
On that note, we waved goodbye and I keep on walking with Gojo-sensei
"How can you get so close to Megumi?"
"Huh?"
"He just looked at me with the blankest face ever when I first tried talking to him"
"Well, considering you as a creepy adult, I would've probably done the same"
"Ouch"
"Your welcome"
I laughed at Mr Blindfold, he is definitely a great choice for someone to mess with
Ijichi-san is standing by the car, he opened the door for me as soon as I reached his side
"Arigato Ijichi-san"
I smiled at him before sitting in the car
Gojo-sensei knocked on the windows indicating me to lower it
I did as told before looking at him
"Stay safe, I'm available for any calls"
"Noted, see you later sensei"
He waved at me with a grin before the windows closing
"Are you ready Y/n-san"
"Always am"
Then the car start moving, Ijichi-san followed the navigation as I looked outside the window
...
The library was closer than I thought it would be
Me and Ijichi-san both got off the car
The scent of curses lurking around it way too obvious
"Y/n-san, I'll be waiting here, making sure no one else enters"
I nodded at him before heading to the entrance
Holding my right hand out, palm facing the sky, my Rubik's cube appeared in my hands as I starts to replace some pieces in case of sudden attacks
This is a three-floored library, I followed the scent of the curse, heading upstairs
Cautiously checking around my environment, it's scent gets stronger the closer I am
Turning left at the end of the corridor, I entered a room, it was probably a study room by the look of it
Suddenly I felt curses moving around, it appeared behind me, taking me by surprise
It's claws reached out for me, it was incredibly close to me
Even though I managed to dodge the curse, it's claw still sliced through my left arm, blood stained my uniform
"Great, I'll have to wash these again because of you"
Looking at the second grade in front of me, I clicked my tongue out of impatience
It attacked in a blink of eye
I have to admit, this is one of the fast curses I've met so far, but this is still too slow
Replacing the red side of my Rubik's cube
"Fire Manipulation: Blazing"
A katana covered with flame appeared in my hands as I swiftly sliced the curse's arms off
The curse seems to be screaming in pain since some muffled voice is forced out of his throat
Shrugging it off, I aimed at it's leg, cutting them off with ease
Just when I am about to finish the curse off, I see 2 other curses coming out of the walls from the corner of my eyes, they are much faster than the one in front of me
One of their claws reached my left hand and left a deep cut while the other one stood protectively in front of the one that lost it's arms and legs
2 first grades and a second grade? Slightly trickier but I got it
Fixing the blue side of my Rubik's cube
"Frost Manipulation: Rain of Icicles"
I controlled the icicles as they sharply pierced through the skin of the curse that gave me a wound
"Frost Manipulation: Colourless Execution"
An iced katana appeared in my hand before I sprinted towards the curse in front of me, leaving deep yet numerous cuts on it
Dropping back quickly I fixed the yellow side
"Lightening Manipulation: Electric Shock"
This time I aimed at the second grade behind them, gathering curse energy within my fist
Quickly dodged the 2 first grades and punched it as hard as I can, sending it flying through walls
It slides through the corridor, stopped moving few seconds later
Knowing it's dead, I turned around to look at the other two first grade curses
They seems angered by the death of the second grade as both of them charged at me at the same time
"Lightening Manipulation: Strike"
I attacked the curse that's the closest to me, it fall backwards at my attack
However, the cure behind it didn't hesitate to grab me and threw me out of the railings
I cursed under my breath at the burning sensation of my back come in contact with a book shelf
Immediately getting back on my feet, I see the two curses metres away from me, in their fighting position
Replacing the green side, I smirked knowing the next attack will put them in disadvantage
"Nature Manipulation: Hide and Seek"
Suddenly the three of us is surrounded by plants growing out of nowhere
Since this is my attack, I can see through the maze, perfectly knowing where they are
"Frost Manipulation: Colourless Execution"
The iced sword appeared again as I attack the curse closest to me, wasting no time to sliced it's head of
The other one came over due to the noise
But by the time he arrived, I already hid myself in my maze again
Sneaking behind the curse, I burst out of my hiding spot, taking it by surprise
I left multiple deep cuts on this one since it was the one that threw me downstairs
Once it's arms and legs were cut off, I sliced its head off
The maze instantly disappeared, my Rubik's cube falls back into my hands
Knowing that there isn't any more scent of curses left, I headed out of the building
My iced katana evaporated into the air as soon as I went to Ijichi-san
"Let's go"
He nodded at me before getting in the driver's seat
Placing my hand carefully so I won't hurt my wound
I closed my eyes and dozed off
...
"SHE'S BACK"
An overexcited voice that belongs to a certain adult woke me up
I looked outside the window realising I'm back to school now
I opened the door and got off the car with my uninjured hand
"How's the mission my favourite student?"
"2 first grade curses and 1 second grade curses"
I reported lazily, finally paying attention to me wounded hand, the blood pretty much dried
"Woo, a deep cut you got there"
"Thanks for reminding, the first grades took me by surprise"
"Hmm..Shoko is away at the moment, do you want me to take care of it?"
No way I'm trusting this child with my wound
"Nah I'm good sensei, I'll manage on my own"
He acted hurt for a moment before shrugging his shoulders
"If you say so, arigato Y/n, for completing my mission for me"
"I knew it, where's others"
"At the training gourds training their arms off"
I walked inside the gate alongside Gojo-sensei before we parted ways
Feeling the need of taking care my wounds and the urge of throwing my uniform into the washing machine, I headed straight to SRC
But
I'll have to walk pass the training grounds to get to SRC
As one of the most observant person in my year, Megumi obviously noticed me
"Y/n you're back"
He said, walking towards me also grabbing other's attention as they all starts to come closer, including Inumaki-senpai
"Hello there-"
I intended to wave at them, but forgot about my new wound, it starts to hurt again after I moved it violently causing me to hiss in pain
"Omg you've got a deep cut"
Nobara pointed out as she grabbed my hand to examine it
"Taken surprised by one of the first grades, but it's okay"
Rubbing the back of my neck, I explained
I looked up again, running into the familiar pair of violet eyes, which are filled with worry
Inumaki-senpai is looking at my other cut on my arm
"You should go to Ieiri-san"
"Shake shake"
Panda-senpai suggested while Inumaki-senpai nodded his head in agreement
"I was going to, but apparently she's out of school today so Imma just leave it for now"
"Okaka!"
An angry sound came from the white haired boy as he aggressively walked to me and grabbed me by my uninjured hand, heading to SRC
My heartbeat increases at his touch, first time after such a long time
I followed Inumaki-senpai quietly, my legs seems to be moving on their own
This boy is killing me....
