After discovering about that Erwin is my biological half brother
I accompanied captain Levi at finding Kenny Ackerman and his squad we would check if there still alive or not
"You don't have to come with me" Captain Levi said to me
"It's fine captain, I don't really mind" I said and smiled
"Tch" the captain click his tongue and shifted his gaze away to me
We started searching for the others along with few soldiers
I suddenly saw a person under a tree
"Captain" I called and pointed to the tree where I saw the man
We went our way to the tree
We then saw him sitting on the tree burnt and covered in blood
"Kenny" Captain Levi called for him
"Oh its just you" he said and started coughing blood
"It looks like all of your soldiers got crushed. Are you the only one left?" Captain Levi asked
"Seems that way" Kenny said
"You have been burned alive and lost a lot of blood. We can't save you now" he said
"You sure about that?" he showed us a titan syringe
Both me and captain Levi's eyes widen
"I swipe this one on Rod Reiss's bag when he wasn't looking" he said
"I might turn into a titan if I inject this. I will be one of the stupid ones. It will give me more time" he added
"You have enough time to inject it why didn't you?" the captain asked
I was at the side listening to their conversation
"I don't want to end up like that idiot all messed up" he said
He then shifted his gaze at me
"Oh its midnight Jr?" he then realized my presence
"You know my mom?" I asked
"Of course I know that bitch" he said
"How did you met?" I asked ignoring his insult about my mother
"Well murderers can team up so when a damn noble asks us to kill some shitty enemies of his and you know what she did first after I lay my eyes on her?" he asked
"What?" I asked
"She immediately stabbed me in the guts well apparently she's the first one that could lay a finger at me" he said and started laughing
I never thought mom was like that
"Your a spitting image of her but you don't act much like her" he said to me
"How come?" I asked
"That troublesome woman is obnoxious, idiotic, and a sarcasm queen" he said and smirked
He started laughing
And he suddenly cough up blood
I went towards him and wiped the blood in his mouth
"You know the only thing different from you and your mother's looks?" he asked
"What is it?"
"You have the same eyes with that damn Smith bastard you call father. You also act like him calm and smart the complete opposite of your mother. She is just muscle with no brains" he said
"Yeah I guess so" I said and chuckled softly
I was happy that I have something in common with my father since a lot of people see me as my mother's duplicate
I shifted my gaze at captain Levi
He looks like he wanted to say something
So I stood up
And went towards captain Levi
I place my hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner
"I will leave you guys alone" I said and smiled
His eyes widen at my statement
He nodded at me
I left to give the two some privacy
I sat on the grass. I boringly fiddled with my hair
And stared at the sky filled orange and red hues
It was beautiful and peaceful
It has been a few minutes
When I heard footsteps behind me
I shifted my gaze at the person behind me
When I saw captain Levi he was holding a syringe
I also saw him put something on his pocket it was shining from the light
I ran towards him
But my feet felt numb sitting on grass to long
I was about to fall when captain Levi catches me
I stare at his face
His giving me an unusual stare
I suddenly shifted my gaze to his lips
My face turns bright red
What are you doing don't think inappropriate to about your captain!! My inside are screamed at me
I immediately step further away from him because it's giving me unusual thoughts
I stared at him I couldn't muster or read his thoughts
And then captain Levi grabbed my waist pulling me towards him
He then stared at me
What I realized is his face is also red
I then caught a glimpse of him staring at my lips
And then he started to lean closer
The closer I felt his breath touched my skin
My heartbeat quicken
And then he stopped when he is inches away from my lips
He then took my chin and he whispered
"May I?"
"Huh?" I tilted my head in confusion
"May I kiss you" he repeated
I swear my heart just explode from hearing those words
And then I saw him waiting patiently at my answer

"What am I to you! What is my mother to you?!" Levi yelled to the man in front of him
"Tch, are you an idiot. I'm just her brother" he said
Levi stood up hearing the words that came out of his mouth
Kenny already gave him the titan syringe
"Oi, runt catch" he said and threw something at him
Levi caught it and saw a ring
"What's this?" Levi asked
"It's a ring you idiot" he remark
"Who's ring is this?" Levi asked irratated at his sarcasm
"Griselda, it's Griselda Smith's ring I took it after knowing her death" Kenny explained
"Why are you giving this to me?" Levi asked
"Aren't you going to ask her out, it might be too late" Kenny said
"Ask who out?" Levi tilted his head
"For goodness sake I'm talking about Rei, you just prove to me that you are an idiot, are you even my nephew for goodness sake" he said rolling his eyes
Levi can't believe this man in front of him is nearly dying and still acting like this
"I know that look on your face. I also experienced that with Griselda but she fell in love with that Smith bastard" Kenny said
"Hey, Kenny can I borrow your hat" Griselda asked
"Tch, wanna die!!" Kenny hissed at her
"Maybe that hat stinks so bad" she tease with a sly smirk on her face
Kenny shot his bullet at her but she immediately dodge it
She then started laughing like a maniac
"Tch"
Kenny chuckled remembering his time with her
"I was too late. She already fell in love with someone else. I really wanted to kill that Smith bastard but I didn't want her to be sad and knowing that she died because of him it's damn annoying"
"I thought she left him" Levi said
"Yeah she left because some noble she works on wanted her back but she declined so the noble nearly killed that Smith guy. She had no choice to come back and not involved herself with Smith" Kenny explained
He sighed and looked at Levi straight in the eye
"I don't want you to end up like me. All alone and messed up" Kenny said and started coughing blood
"You may be dense but I could see right through you. Your in love with Rei and you need to tell her that. It might be too late" Kenny said
Levi never knew his feelings for her
But he knew that whenever his with Rei his heart beat faster
He craves touching her
He wanted to feel his lips on her
And then he heard someone coughing
He shifted his gaze at Kenny
"Good luck runt" he said
Those were his last words

"May I kiss you?" Captain Levi asked me
I could hear his heart beating the same speed as mine. I took a step backward resulting on me falling. As I held on captain Levi both of us are now on the land
"This is way better so I don't need to tiptoe" he chuckled
I couldn't form a word so I simply took his collar
I then pressed my lips onto him
We shared our first kiss
It was gentle and soft
I melted at the kiss
I have never kissed anyone before
I then put my arms around his neck
He tilted his head to get a better angle of my lips
His lips are soft and rough at the same time
I was blushing so badly
All of our feelings mixed and expressed through the kiss
We immediately pulled away for air
Then I saw him smile
My heart drops seeing him smile
"Again" he pleaded I nodded my head
He immediately pressed his lips on mine
I felt happy being in his arms
Feeling his warmth around me
So I closed my eyes and enjoy the moment
All the pain we shared we experienced were enveloped by the kiss that is full of love and joy
Both of us are thinking the same thing
This is the happiest day of my life
