Damien and Raven were not your average husband and wife, mom and dad, normal office staff, they were vigilantes too. Imagine the love birds are trying to juggle 3 balls but fail, so they tried 2 firsts then 3 balls. It's a Metaphor and it's trying to say that Damien and Raven are still struggling to maintain a double life. It used to be way easier back then when it's just high school and vigilantism, but now work, kids, chores and mission, it's exhausting. They are no longer as skilled as they use to be, i mean working is very tiring and they are also growing older, their not as physical as before so it's difficult.
They just came back from a long but not difficult mission. Their mission was to keep some "bees in their colony" it's H.I.V.E And their back in business. Apparently, H.I.V.E has shadow operatives all around the world and they have stole pieces and tech to build some radioactive weapon. The Titans stop them before it was too late and they succeeded. They return back to the tower to patch themselves up. They were so exhausted this H.I.V.E mission has been an ongoing problem and tonight they can finally file H.I.V.E report. Dick and Kory went back to their apartment and damirae went back to their house.
"Finally we're home!!!" said that while Damien put his hands around her waist and puling in gor a kiss. "Right now we can put our mission aside and focus on us; the family." said Damien and Raven kissing back passionately. They were interrupted by swords clashing in the training room. Ian and Delancy are no ordinary kids, they are kids of vigilanties after all. They approach the room and saw the kids sword training League style.
"You're getting slower, sister dear." saying in a flirty tone while Delancy duck and grab his arm and pin him on the ground. "You were saying, dearest brother" return the same tone and a smirk at him. "Good job Delancy." said Raven clapping her hand and entering the training room, "Ian i'm dissapointed, you let your sister pin you down" said the dad sounding disappointed. "Dad!!! She took me by surprise!!!" said Ian "Yeah because you we're distracted and i took the opportunity, like mom said disrupt and reverse" 😜 saying with a wink. Then they started arguing, " Ian! Delancy! Stop!!! You both did well and have room for improvement. Great job🙌👍" said Raven with an encouraging tone. " See dad you can be a little more encouraging like mom", "ditto" said the kids. "Don't let him bother, we're just stress out, crazy mission." said Raven sounding exhuasted. The kids put the sword back and join the parents in the living room, they told them about H.I.V.E and all that.
"Wow mom, dad that does sound like a crazy mission." said them in awe. "Alright story times over, it's getting late go wash up and go to bed. Us too we need a shower, and i need massage. I have a lot of fatigue on my neck." raven complaining. "You can have both right after you get your ass off the couch" he said. "Ah rude..." she said. They went into the parents suite and took a very long but relaxing shower, and they had a massage as well. "here let me blow dry your hair" and grabbing the hair dryer from her hand and turn it on, "since when have you beacome so chivalrous, habibti..." curious look on her face. "what can't you let your husband be a part of your night routine." said damien with a chivalrous tone. "but seriously what's up" saying that while she turn to his lips and kiss him. "The mission, this double life is exhuasting. We spend one week just for the mission and now i feel like we're on borrowed time." he said look upset. "Habibti, mission or no mission, double life or not, even if we're not doing something memorable it's still consider spending time with you. Whether it's a date, exicting mission or just cuddling i am still here with you, so no i don't feellike we're on borrowed time." she smile and gave him a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek. "What about the kids? They say they we're fine just but i know their not." he said "I understand, maybe we should make it up to them, asking them what they want..." she suggested. "Okay you blow my hair and i will think of something." turning to her vanity table letting him blow her hair.
After a lot of blow drying, her hair is finally dry. "I have an idea..." she said in excitement, "okay..." he said with worried because when Raven has an idea it's usually over the top. "How about we bring them on vacation..." she suggested, "sure where honey..." said Damien, "how bout we ask them" she said and he nodded. They got on bed and fell asleep instantely, they were really out of it. That night Raven had a relaxing dream, her and her family her in the Maldives. Her and Damien hand in hand walking down the white sand beachs, romantic dinner date under the star and relaxing spa... The kids were also having the time of their lives scuba diving, sandcastles and playing in the sea and etc.
The next day when they woke Raven told Damien about the dream but Raven say it felt so real. People that are close to Raven know that what she said her "dream" is real, it might not be a dream at all it could be a prediction. " Well romantic dinner under the star and walking on the white sand beaches does sound preety relaxing" drinking his coffee and leaned in to kiss her. " Ugh, mom dad do we have to see you two lovey-dovey first thing in the morning." the kids gag and the parent felt embarrasing. "Come on tell them, tell them!!!" Ian squealing. "Tell us what???" she question "Last night during our slumber we had the most amazing dream" she said "Going on..." she look intriguied "We dreamt that we we're fiding sharks, swimming, building sandcastles, scuba diving seeing fishes and corals, it was amazing" ian finish talking and look at his parents, their jaw drop. "What! What is it!..." snapping her fingers. "Coming Damien it's not coincidence, that the three of us had the same dream, it's not a dream anymore it has to be a prediction" said Raven in excitment. "Same dream really that's uncanny!!!" "oh it's canny, alright" he agreed
"Your dad has something to ask you..." winking at Damien. "Look because of our busy mission, i feel like we're on borrowed time. I think we should go on a vacation, to make up for last time" he got sentimental.
" Daddy... sure we missed you but we never feel like we're on borrowed time. Like mom always says everything we touch is filled with memories, the things we do daily might not seem significant as a bonding time but you know the sword fighting, sparring and all that, the techniques you taught us they are filled with memories. Thats also the reason why we train everyday to honor you, daddy." said with joy and pride "Sister is right, this how we feel closer to you father that's how we honor you, all the techniques you taught us, it need to be memories and when we think back we think of you. So don't say that we're on borrowed time, we are not." said Ian with joy and pride too. Omgosh Damien started to tear up. "You sound just like your mother..." he said, squad down and hug them. "We do have her genetics and her blood." they said that feeling loved. "Your right thank you all of you, i love all of you..." he said that crying. They all huddle together getting sentimental.
"Alright enough with the sentimentality, we have a mission..." he said that with spark. "We do. What mission. Are we involve!!!" said ian and Delancy in shock. "Yes we have a mission, go and pack your stuff cuz we're going on vacation!!!" said with excitement. "REALLY!!!" everyone surprised and he nod. "But where are we going?" ask Raven, he winked and stared at the kids. "How bout you guys decide where we go???" "really dad" he nod " So how about the Maldives..." Delancy suggested. "That's a great idea, i'll make reservation imeadietly and we can portal there." Raven quickly got off her seat and made reservation.
Fast forward a little... They we're having the time of their lives. Raven and Damien hand in hand walking down the white sand beachs, romantic dinner date under the star and relaxing spa, while the kids were also having the time of their lives scuba diving, sandcastles and playing in the sea and etc. Everything was going fine until a certain villian group decided to invade their vacation H.V.I.E but luckily their attack was away of their vacation site, so no one even notices.
"Ah seriously... you guys are really starting to get on my nerves." said Raven. "1 week of annoying isn't enough, you just had to come back for another round." said Damien in a annoyed tone. "Well what can we say, stronger together, weaker the lesser." said in unsure tone. "Em... that doesn't sound right..." said Delancy, "Ah who cares!!! How dare you ruin our vacation, you are so going to regret this." said Ian hoping mad.
They took out their weapons and chant their spells, after what felt like a full 15 minutes they were finally done. Raven cast one last spell a spell to create a lasso to keep them from running away. While the kids are making sure they don't run, the lovebirds contacted The Titans and told them what happend. Soon later they arrive at the scene and took the H.I.V.E back to the tower.
After the interference, they walked back to the vacation site. "Well that was unexpected." said Delancy, "What a way to spend a vacation..." said Ian and everyone started laughing. "Hahaha... your right what a way, although i think our just got cut short." said Raven while looking at Damien's face. "Why??? why cut short." said Damien in confusion "Well we just got attacked, i assume that you want to get back and begin interrogate immediately..." said Raven sounding not confident. "Oh don't worry about it, i told Dick that to make sure they don't escape and he can fill us in when we get back. With that said lets get back to our vacation." said Damien with spark and joy.
And that's what they did they continue the rest of their vacation. The kids woke up early to play, the lovebirds spot their kids from inside the house. They cuddle, kiss and being lovey-dovey and all that. For the whole vacation they did not have to wake up early, they just rest and relax and very cringy but every morning Damien would say "Morning beautiful😍💘❤️" exhuasting. We spend one week just for the mission and now i feel like we're on borrowed time." he said look upset. "Habibti, mission or no mission, double life or not, even if we're not doing something memorable it's still consider spending time with you.
