The Abyssal realm was an empty space in frozen time, where no normal being has ever set foot on, not even the strongest of them all. And if ever they could, the black void would hold onto them forever, it's grip on their existence making it unable to return. It was darkness, they told. If a soul would be caught by it's twister, the path to life would be as dim as ember, lonesome, and narrow. It was a natural cage, it's power ruthless enough to trap it's victim inside an endless pitch black daydream.
To those who thinks further this place is known as a safe haven a paradise or a oasis to the being who once governs thousands of worlds but now passes it on to his successor who exceeded more than him. Everytime he takes a look at his successor his expectations of him exceeded to the point where he can only awe in surprise, but then the moment he never expected came the death of his successor he never have thought that the being who have ascended into godlihood has died. But a spark of hope came the spiritual core of his successor that has been shattered into millions of pieces due to his partner betrayal he slowly picked up those pieces and put them together in his realm, this is only thing he can do because he also weakened to the point where only he can do is just mend the soul of his successor.
Few days have gone by the core that has been floating Infront of him never spoke nor move he has done everything he could and it has regained its colors to once it was a gray white orb to a flaming blue yellow orb, now all he has to do is wait.
'How long has it been, how many days have passed if only I've noticed it sooner things wouldn't go to this way' Rimuru thought he has lost the track of time ever since he was killed by her partner. Darkness has only filled his vision he could feel his soul deteriorating each second and its only a matter of time til his soul completely dies
"Wake up!!!!!"
"W-What who's there?" Rimuru could hear a faint voice but he doesn't know where it is, a glowing light appeared Infront of him from afar he goes to the light and he could hear the voice going louder and louder...
"YOUR DUTY IS NOT YET OVER BOY!!"
"YOU NEED TO SAVE CIEL!!!"
The moment the glowing light is within his grasp he could feel his consciousness being sucked up by the light transferring in a different side.....
MOMENTS LATER
The moment Rimuru regained back his consciousness he could see Infront of him a flaming blue yellow orb
"Hey, you. You're finally awake." Said the orb Infront of him
"Wait what where am I? And how do you know that line!?" Rimuru exclaimed and was dumbfounded
"Nevermind the small details but this old me has still few little tricks that can work even tho im no longer in my prime reviving you is one of them of course" said as the blue orb keeps circling around him
"Thank you I guess but who are you?"Rimuru said with a normal tone
"Ahk! To think my successor has forgotten me this draconic heart of mine has been wounded. Oh how the youngest generations get to forget things easily" said as the orb flames were starting to die out....
"Huh"Rimuru was still dumbfounded he tries to think who this individual is but no answers has come to his head. 'he keeps speaking about me being his successor but could this being be ' before he sums up all his thoughts he was interrupted by the voice Infront oh him
"Well enough of that you'll get to know once I do this!!"the orb moves quite a distance between him then the orbs light shines more forming into a western dragon looking being and there it stood with all its glory, a being full of aquatic scales hinting with darkness, it was almost impossible to know what it's color was from the lack of light and it just stood there so large and fierce. Grand and Mighty, making the yellow colored eye glow and it looks the tiny orb beneath him
"It is I Veldanava the stellar king dragon and you Rimuru Tempest I welcome you to my oasis my own paradise the abyssal realm!!!" Veldanava shouted as his voice echoed in the void
'So it is him no wonder he resembles a bit of a certain lizard that I knew and likes to show off' Rimuru thought with a deadpanned expression on his face if he was in his human form
"So how was it was the introduction good boy?" Veldanava said while looking at him brimming with curiosity
"Uhhh you could be on par with him thats for sure"
"Then I'll take it"
"But I thought you were dead tho"
"My death was... greatly exaggerated" Veldanava said while doing a certain pose(reference :D)
"Now then lets put you back into shape that we can talk in a normal way"with that being said a light and magic circle surrounded rimuru then forms back into his own humanoid form
Rimuru gained back a fraction of his strength and a mirror appeared Infront of him inspecting his own body
"These marks are....." Few purplish marks can be seen on his body that resembles a chain and the grip mark on his neck, he touches his neck to check if those were real
"Quite a nightmare is it boy" Veldanava said while looking at Rimuru
"So it really did happened" in a sad tone
Rimuru looks up to Veldanava and bows
"Thank you for your hospitality but I'll be taking my leave now" rimuru uses his own magic and clothes appeared on his body(demon lord outfit)
"But I'll to stop you right there boy, your soul is tattered to the point where a single soul inflicting attack will utterly destroy it and fixing it again will do no good you'll die deader than dead." Veldanava said "Your turn null(nothingness) and stardust(everything) aura are destabilizing one wrong fix will put you into dust or explode into a million of pieces so I suggest to reside here for now and I'll put you back into your prime state besides your heroine is still alive"
What do you mean by heroine?"Rimuru tilted his face
Veldanava gestured Rimuru to to look at the side of him and when he look at the side seeing 2 moving individual can be seen in a holographic form
"Just because I've lost my powers that doesn't mean I no longer have access to the worlds and system that I've created so I made a backdoor and stayed in there watching thousand of beings doing their own ways"Veldanava said while looking on the holograms
"So meaning you abandoned your father duties so you can watch people doing stuffs" Rimuru said while crossing his arms looking at the holograms
"Hahahaha no" Veldanava retorted with a fake laugh "This being you are talking right now is just a fragment of me the original me has longed died so I no longer have the power to materialize myself to the cardinal world"
"Im still confuse but I'll worry about that later but I can still go back right?"
"Of course you can but we'll intervene if its necessary you dont want your beloved to kill you again do you"
"Dont talk about it"
Silence has past between them watching both individual Infront of them Rimuru was thinking of ways to stop Ciel but Veldanava butted in and just says "think about it when you're ready you'll just get overwhelmed by those thoughts of yours"
"Looks like its starting" Veldanava transforms into his human form and goes beside Rimuru and smack is back
"Well then Rimuru Tempest, lets see how your beloved will make a new story shall we"
Rimuru just nodded and looks at the projection Infront of them viewing the great jura forest from above.
