After 2 nights of resting and recovering, today is finally when the Goodwill event take place
I waked up early in the morning but decided not to do my morning workout because I will need my energy saved for later
Changing into my uniform and tied my hair up into a ponytail, I walked out of my room running into Megumi, who is also in process of leaving his room

With that I went downstairs with Megumi
At the exit of the building, we see the 2nd years already waiting

"Are we all ready for the Goodwill event?"

Both of us nodded before focusing into our own thoughts
Due to boredom, I starts to play with my Rubik's cube, as a warm up to my fingers
"Where is Nobara?"
"She should be here soon"
I replied, finally looking up from my Rubik's cube
However, I was so focused that I completely did not notice Inumaki-senpai came to stand super close to me
"Tuna tuna"
He pointed at my Rubik's cube, looking at me as if he is asking permission
After spending 2 months with him, I kind of learned his rice ball ingredient language
"Sure"
I passed my Rubik's cube to him and start watching him replacing it
"Sorry for the wait!"
We all looked at the staircase where the voice came
It's Nobara
With her suitcase and backpack
We looked at her in confusion and she did the same with us
"Why aren't you guys packed? I thought we are going to Kyoto?"
"No no no, it is called the Kyoto Sister-school Goodwill Event but it's not in Kyoto, it's held at the school of the previous winner, which is us, therefore, it's in Tokyo"
Panda-senpai explained while we are all trying to hold back our laughter
Nobara's eyes widened in shock before she start running back to her room with her stuff
I chuckled before someone tapped me on the shoulder grabbing me attention
Inumaki-senpai returned my Rubik's cube, with all the sides completed
"Wow, Inumaki-senpai you're really fast at replacing it"
"Shake shake"
Inumaki-senpai's eyes curled showing me he is smiling at my compliment, my lips curled up into a smiled in return
By the time Nobara returned, it's about time to meet the Kyoto students
I walked beside Inumaki-senpai the whole time, his faint scent of mint never fails to calm me down
The Kyoto students are already waiting for us in the middle of our school ground
6 of them in total, 2 of them are Mai and Todo
Those 2 successfully left me a horrible impression for Kyoto students
Maki-senpai walked at the front and stopped when the students of the 2 schools are facing each other
I stepped closer to Inumaki-senpai, not wanting to deal with the Kyoto students at all
Inumaki-senpai seems to notice my moves as he holds onto my hand

He whispered to me, telling me that he will protect me if anything happen
I looked forwards to meet the intense gaze of a cute looking girl from Kyoto, she has blond hair that's tied up
The way she looked at me as if I am stealing something from her
"These 1st years won't be able to keep up"
That girl said to a leader-like guy standing next to her, who has his eyes closed
"I won't say so, Megumi Fushiguro is probably the most talented sorcerer from the Zenin family whereas the other girl, Y/n I believe her name is, she is a semi grade 1 curse user even though she's in 1st year"
I couldn't care less about the conversation so I got out my Rubik's cube, shuffling it
Inumaki-senpai then reached for something in his pocket, he pulled out his phone few seconds later, unlocking it and starts to type something before showing it to me
"I'll time you"
"Yes please"
I smiled at his offer, gladly accepting it
He then opened his timer as he count me in
He pressed the button the exactly same time when I starts to replace my Rubik's cube
Inumaki-senpai stopped the timer the second I replaced the Rubik's cube
I look over his shoulder to check the time

Inumaki-senpai chuckled before he rubbed my hair a little
Just then, Mr Blindfold finally appeared
"Sorry for the late arrival, now allow me to hand out the souvenirs now"
"Overly excited adults are creepy"
Nobara muttered under her breath
Mr Blindfold quickly hand out the souvenirs for the Kyoto students before pushing a huge box towards us
"At last, for the Tokyo students, this is your shared souvenir"
We looked at one another with uncertainties, not sure what's going on with our sensei
"Why is this souvenir abnormally huge?"
Panda-senpai asked, concerned
All of us hesitated at who to go and open the box
Yawning a little, I went to the box with all 5 of them looking
I lifted the box open, about to look what's inside there before a figure jumped out
Instead of being scared, my body freezes at the figure in front of me
Yuji Itadori?
I can feel Megumi's figure stiffens next to me as Nobara looked at him in shock
"Why aren't you excited?"
Yuji asked after all of us being frozen for a good 3 minutes
His voice made me realised that Yuji is truly standing there, alive
Tears swirled up in my eyes as I turned around walking away from the scene, not wanting anyone to see my tears
I stopped when I'm behind everyone, tears dropped down from the corner of my eyes
I can hear Nobara talking while I'm trying my best to hold me tears back
Suddenly I felt myself being embraced by someone
The familiar scent of mint told me who it was
Knowing it's Inumaki-senpai, I hugged him back and buried my head in his chest while he gently rubbing my back
I tried my best to calm myself down, seeing Yuji reminds me of the day when I received the news of him 'dead'
It reminds me of how powerless I was, facing a special grade that I let my friend die
"Shh, don't cry, it's okay"
Inumaki-senpai whispered in normal words again, even though it was shocking, I found them very comforting as my tears starts to stop
I hugged him tighter, not wanting to let go, I wish time could freeze at this moment
I felt his arms wrapped stronger around my waist, pushing me into him more
Behind us, I heard Yuji questioning
"When did Y/n got so close with Inumaki-senpai?"
